It’s like, I get hit with a penalty on the field, and then suddenly everyone starts pointing fingers, claiming the Republican Party is the reason for the failure...😵

I don't know about everyone else, but those sudden outbursts from Democrats really get under my skin; if they were actually competent, they would have made their mark by now, but clearly, patriotism isn't exactly their strong suit, even though it plays such a massive role in sports...
Henry Cox78 said:It wasn't intentional at all. He just fell and lost sight of the player for a second... they really ought to release the full footage instead of showing this clipped version where you can't see the whole context.
I disagree, I think it was deliberate; I distinctly remember seeing the slow-motion replay from the game, and it looks like he was definitely retaliating, though honestly, Vori has been an absolute disaster throughout this tournament, struggling to find any rhythm or score even the easiest shots, which just makes you realize how much we could use someone like Renato Sulić right now... our offensive line feels completely stagnant, and it’s clear that Balić and Lacković really should have been playing more aggressively on the attack side...
I can't help but feel like the players aren't quite where they need to be—physically, tactically, or mentally—and if we don't get things sorted, those Germans are going to absolutely steamroll us...
Jesse Thompson94 said:Bringing back Červar wouldn't fix a single thing about this mess. The vibe in the locker room is just toxic right now. It isn't even that the players lack talent, it's more that they've completely checked out from the national team... They know deep down that once their peak passes, they'll be tossed aside like yesterday's trash. Some of them are even bitter because they aren't getting enough playing time, or they're intentionally limiting their minutes just to stay visible for scouts so they can land a big transfer... and honestly, that same selfish mentality is poisoning the whole national squad too.
Regarding Gobac and the political situation, I was just pointing out that if he's this influential while his party is out of power, imagine how much control he'll wield once they actually win an election...
Forget talking about political parties; it's obvious why Mamić holds so much sway, because he operates just like the Republican Party or those factions in Belgrade—it’s really more of a shady syndicate than anything else, almost like a mafia setup.
Jesse Thompson94 said:There is absolutely no way this situation touches Gobac... he really doesn't care about any of this drama, because as long as the money keeps flowing, he’s going to be right where he is. He is a loyal soldier for his party, and they keep him in that high-ranking position even while they aren't running the show, so just imagine what happens when they actually win an election again...
What party are you even talking about? Honestly, their only true loyalty is to the cash flow... if he actually cared about political ideology, he would have been able to shake everyone out of their positions back when the Democratic Party held power four years ago.
Jesse Thompson94 said:There is just something fundamentally broken within our handball system, and everyone knows exactly where the rot starts: right at the top with Gopac. Look at how we treated our absolute legends when they were finished... I don't follow every single detail closely, but I can certainly list them: Caleb, Džomba, Metličić, Balić, Sulić... and now it feels like things are turning sour with Lacković too. From what I can remember, every one of them was tossed aside like yesterday's trash. If I'm being honest, I think Dominiković and Valčić would belong on that list too... though anyone who follows the sport more closely than I do could probably correct me if I've missed someone. It’s the exact same story you see with the LA Lakers or the USSF; there is absolutely no point in swapping out coaches or players when the entire foundation is crumbling because of the leadership at the federation level.
We spent all this time tearing Lino Červar down, claiming he wasn't a real strategist and was nothing more than a glorified cheerleader, yet the man is doing an incredible job over in North Mexico.
Červar secured gold just like Ćiro did with that bronze in soccer, so if we just brought Červar back, all our problems would be solved...
Alexander Smith69 said:It’s probably a good idea to label each cell with its nominal voltage, usually something like 3.7V or 4.2V. Generally speaking, if you have a 6-cell battery pack, the total voltage should come out to roughly 11.1V or 12.6V depending on the charge level. If your readings are coming in lower than that, there's a high chance one of the cells is shot or maybe the wiring isn't quite right...
Everything looks solid on the assembly side; I actually took it over to my mechanic today to double-check, and all six cells are reading at 4.1V, but we really won't know the truth until we see how they hold up under load—we're planning to test them against a 50-watt automotive bulb...🍿, and if the voltage drops below 3.6V during the process, he thinks they're officially toast, and man... lithium is such a headache...🙂
Alexander Smith69 said:You just measure the voltage exactly like you would with any standard battery. With Li-Ion batteries, each individual cell should ideally sit at 3.7V, so if you have a pack with 6 cells, you'd expect to see about 11.1V total...
The thing is, when I check them individually, they're all reading 4.1V. I actually pulled a few of them out to test them myself, so I'm wondering, what on earth could that mean?
A multimeter is great because I use it to check standard batteries all the time, but I’m just not sure if the same logic applies when dealing with Li-Ion cells... specifically, I'm wondering if I should be measuring the amperage instead, and if that's necessary, what's actually the best way to go about measuring that accurately?
I’m not sure if anyone here would find this interesting, but I decided to take apart a dead battery pack today... I pulled out all the individual cells and they’re all reading at 4 volts, which honestly seems fantastic on paper, especially since having six of them should give me a total capacity of 24 volts... so I can't quite wrap my head around where things went wrong, because the charger won't even touch it and just keeps insisting the battery is completely empty... I'm starting to wonder if the internal circuitry has simply fried, and if that's the case, is there actually any way to salvage this, or am I just looking at a paperweight...
I always stick to the manufacturer's official website, because honestly, if you aren't 100% sure about what you're doing, it’s better to just hand it over to someone who actually knows their stuff... I find myself helping my cousins and my godparents with all sorts of tech issues constantly, and it really makes me wonder if I should just bite the bullet and start my own business one day 🙂

I'm dropping the image links here, and I really want to apologize in advance if this isn't allowed, but for some reason, no matter how small I make the files, nothing seems to upload directly to the site...
First, grab an adware cleaner, run a full scan, and then paste the results right here in the thread... Next, download GPU-Z so you can check the actual temperatures for both your graphics card and your processor, and definitely run MemTest to rescan your RAM. Also, take a good look to see if the cooling vents aren't completely clogged up, and honestly, you might want to pick up a laptop cooling pad with built-in fans...
It rarely ever shuts down on me, though I suspect those video drivers might be acting up... I recently installed the K-Lite codec pack, which has been running for about a week now, but since there aren't any specific graphics drivers available for Windows 7, I've just been making do with the ones from Vista, and honestly, it’s such a massive headache...
If I recall correctly, I was dealing with a pretty similar headache on my HP Pavilion... I can't help but wonder if some buggy drivers might be at the root of all this...
I honestly went into this thinking there might be some kind of height adjustment built into the stand, but it turns out they didn't even consider adding that feature...
Is there any way to physically lower the height of an LCD monitor? I'm working with a Dell UltraSharp 24 and I've been messing around with the stand trying to get it to sit lower, but I haven't had any luck so far... does anyone know if there's a workaround? I'm just trying to slide it under this desk shelf, but I am literally missing a centimeter of clearance by a hair...
