Which monitor should I get? in Computer Peripherals ·
darkowl72 said:Whether it’s broken or not is pretty subjective... $67 is $67... you still have the warranty, I hope? If you aren't out hunting for perfection and just need a functional monitor, then whatever... honestly, if you were trying to flip a monitor like that, you wouldn't be offering it for $167 either, right? 😁

Hopefully it arrives tomorrow, I've heard those Samsung monitors are actually pretty solid😉

I picked up this monitor for $233, about a year ago, but now I’m starting to think I might have made a bit of a mistake since a brand-new one is going for no more than $67 extra compared to what I paid 😢

Or maybe they actually changed the rules on us...

I didn't catch the broadcast because I wasn't really following it, but if I recall correctly, it was three rounds at 100 bucks each.

If you put down $100, you end up with $200!

Now I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole "rollover" requirement for the bonus... I'm honestly not sure if I should be wagering the full amount three times over at 1.5 odds... or if there's some other trick to it... does anyone know how exactly this works???

And specifically, do I just have to roll over the $100 bonus three times at those 1.5 odds, or do I have to wager the entire $200?

It’s just the bonus itself, so just the $100.

Man... I’d love to get rid of this negative rating myself, but my wife won't let me... 😢

I honestly feel like you really need to put someone on the retail floor for a good couple of years just to see if they actually merit that kind of pay raise...😂

I honestly don't get why everyone is fighting so hard over these penalties... if you ask me, I’d be more than happy if they just cut them down or scrapped them entirely 😢
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Michael Diaz4 said:Look, you don't necessarily need to rush to the doctor right this second. Just grab a mirror and take a good look at what's going on, and feel around to see how things look... if there isn't any pain, then they probably aren't inflamed yet. You could try taking some Fact or Preparation H, or maybe something else that has Xylem in the name... just be really careful about your diet. Avoid anything spicy. A little black pepper might pass through okay, but for heaven's sake, stay far away from hot peppers, chili, or anything like that. And if things start getting worse, please go see a doctor to make sure you don't have internal hemorrhoids. Also, try to make sure you aren't dealing with constipation...

This actually reminds me of that scene in Dumb and Dumber where the mobster eats that sandwich loaded with hot peppers and just loses it...🤣😂
Chervar has managed to snag his ninth semifinal appearance out of ten total competitions, and this coming Saturday, he’ll be facing off against the Americans in the semifinals, much like how he went up against them during last year's World Cup in Washington, D.C.

It really just says everything you need to know about Chervar...
I wonder who on earth actually came up with that "cowboy" nickname, honestly... it's a bit much

Krasno🙄

Honestly, I was ready to tear him apart before things were even over, but I guess when the tournament finally wraps up, all the accounts get settled, though at least he certainly gave them some motivation...😁

If Denmark actually takes the loss, how about we grab a coffee? Maybe you can help cheer me up...😬

Actually, I think I just need some pudding right now... my nerves are absolutely shot...😬

Honestly, this coach of yours seems to have everything under control... I really don't get why everyone is tearing him apart...

Though, I can certainly see why the New York Post would be at it... those people are nothing but communists...😬

Those communists want to fire Lino, but they clearly haven't a clue what they're talking about—Lino has brought home more hardware than anyone else ever could.
It’s honestly just pathetic how much they think they can push us around... as if we don't already have enough to deal with, and now they're trying to claim our gold too...

To be honest, I don't have a cow just yet, but I’m currently building this little cottage that’s absolutely perfect for two, tucked right inside an orchard... though unfortunately, the apples have already been harvested. I’ve submitted my paperwork for a grant from the Department of Tourism, and if everything goes through, I plan to build a much larger facility and fence the whole property off. The estate is very secluded; there isn't any electricity yet, we’ll figure out the water situation since there’s a well on-site, and I still need to get a bathroom set up...😁
My vision is to cater specifically to couples, both with kids and without, because they’re the ones who truly appreciate the peace and quiet...

Sadly, nothing came of that grant application—rejected. Honestly, who even are these people? It feels like they just hand those out based on political connections anyway, and I could barely even track down this thread, even with a bit of help looking through old files...😁

I'm not entirely sure if there was a similar thread here—I’ve been scrolling through and just can't seem to track it down—but I was really curious about what everyone thinks regarding agritourism... specifically, whether it actually makes sense from a business standpoint. It feels like everyone is constantly rushing toward the coast or heading up into the mountains, and while I know that kind of rural tourism is thriving over in places like Canada or Austria, they have those massive ski resorts to lean on... so I guess I'm wondering, what exactly can we offer here, and what kind of clientele could we actually pull in?...

We really want that full rustic experience—you know, petting cows, eating home-cooked meals, picking apples, all that stuff...
Anyone got any recommendations?

It’s easy for you guys to talk when you’re flying solo, but for those of us juggling wives and kids, staying out of the red feels like an uphill battle... honestly, the moment I have any money coming in, it’s already spoken for, and I start feeling just like Al Bundy 😂

Regarding this idea of $167 reducing the overdraft limit monthly, I actually think it's a solid concept, though my experience with JP Morgan Chase hasn't been great because they weren't willing to work with me when I asked to lower my limit or lock it into a fixed repayment plan... I know some banks out there offer much more flexibility, sometimes letting you carry an overdraft roughly equal to one paycheck, whereas this three-paycheck limit at JP Morgan Chase sounds pretty brutal and could leave someone in a real bind if things go south... then again, maybe the responsibility should fall on the bank if I'm left with zero ways to pay it back, since from what I understand, they are supposed to be reasonable and offer multi-month repayment plans in those situations...
