This smells like you've got some malware or a virus lurking around that Windows Defender just couldn't shake, and now it's just spinning its wheels until everything is a mess.
My suggestion? Grab a TRIAL of Norton Smart Security—install it, let it automatically take over from Windows Defender and the Windows firewall, run an update on the database, and then kick off a deep scan to see if any intruders are still hiding in there. Once you've got the PC cleaned up, you can always uninstall it and go back to using Defender... or just stick with Norton until the TRIAL runs out. It’ll still work after the TRIAL ends, it just won't get those important updates anymore.
Honestly, you're better off just doing a clean install of Windows 10, especially since you already have an original key from the upgrade.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 - you can grab the ISO right here. https://rufus.akeo.ie/ - this tool will help you make the bootable USB.
The easiest way to handle this? Just wipe the C drive and do a clean install of Windows 8.1. Honestly, Dell puts all that extra junk on there along with the pre-installed OS—just a bunch of useless bloatware you don't need.
Messing around with DLL files in system32 is a massive mistake. Usually, any program that needs specific DLLs—like VC Redist or DirectX, for instance—will just install everything it needs during its own setup process. If you’re missing something specific, like .NET 4 or something similar, you should just install that component on its own. Even if you still run into a missing DLL error after that, if you end up downloading a file from the web, you should ALWAYS put it directly into the application's folder. On Windows, EXEs look in their own local folder first before they ever check system32. Messing with system32 just isn't a smart way to work.
@Roger Gray8/">@@Roger Gray8 - What do you mean, "what's the point?" If someone wants to run a 7mic, they'll figure out how to make it work. 😛
You technically can, but the real question is how well it’ll actually run. Maybe try disabling Aero, all those background services, and those extra little graphics effects after you install it? Basically, just turn Windows 7 back into a classic-looking OS.
You might want to try installing the latest DirectX 9 end-user runtime pack. Just go ahead and install the latest Intel HD graphics driver. You can just Google it or head straight to the official Intel site. It should work. Unless you're trying to run Crysis 3 or something.

But still, nothing works :S It won't let me find it in the Control Panel. It shows up in Device Manager, but I just can't get the driver to install. And when I plug it in via USB, the little icon pops up asking for a driver and then just throws an error at me :S
So, did you get a CD or DVD with the driver when you first bought the printer? Just pop that in and run the installer :/
Or, you could just head over to the HP website, grab the specific driver for your model, and install it from there.
Edit:
Here are the drivers for both 64-bit and 32-bit Windows (for anything since Windows XP)

I need to put together a quick 3-4 slide presentation in PowerPoint 2003, but it has to have animations... like, maybe on the first slide there’s a guy wearing a hat, and then on the second slide, the hat just flies off? Any idea would work, as long as it looks decent and actually makes sense... PLIZZZZZZ could someone please make this for me? I would be the most grateful person ever.

What kind of statistics? You mentioned quite a bit about that statistical stuff in Microsoft Excel...
So, what's the deal with BSPlayer? I noticed this free version comes with a codec downloader now. I don't usually bother with all those different video formats, but for the movies I actually sit down to watch—mostly just .avi files—it plays everything perfectly fine. 🙂
Anyway, if you're looking for something else, I’d definitely go with VLC if you want my opinion. 🙂
@darkwalker2 - honestly, your best bet is to just upload it like our friend suggested so someone can actually take a look at it..
otherwise, I think you could try hitting CTRL+A (to select everything), set the line spacing to 1.5, and then everything should stay at 1.5 regardless of where you're working. Just a heads up though—it’ll probably mess up all your headings and stuff, so you'll likely have to go back in and tidy the text up a bit.
