Why does the forum lag so much from 9 AM to midnight?

It’s probably not even an issue with the ISP; I suspect it’s just some garbage-tier server 🤔

Given how often people pitch stuff like this, I assume the proposers think the hosting costs would somehow outweigh the ad revenue. I guess I'm just curious why they'd think that's the case?

that argument doesn't really hold water... all those other specialized subreddits try to maintain certain standards, whereas this religion forum feels more like a random message board that just lets the usual spammers run wild...
