So there you have it. All the big brains and even Anthony Jackson2 are currently chewing on this mess, and I’m telling you, they’re definitely gonna come up with the most fair solution possible.
I don't even want to picture the absolute chaos unfolding over there once you've managed to drag constructive types like darkmarlin16 over to the dark side.
Man, what a trip, those first 11 posts read like they were written on some heavy hallucinogens, I swear.
Anyway, such an incredible movie. I can't even remember all the tiny details anymore, but I know for a fact it nailed the emotional core, and honestly, that's the only thing that actually matters.
I’m totally on board with the idea, obviously. I mean, there are still books being written constantly, people are still devouring the classics, and we haven't even seen half of the series filmed yet, so honestly, there’s enough material to keep us busy for at least the next decade. 😁
Yeah, I signed up too. ☕ But let’s be real here, that’s exactly why he said basically nobody was watching.
And since we’re being honest, let's just admit that the lower American leagues get way more eyes on them toward the end of the season and during the playoffs, whereas during the regular season, coverage is pretty thin, but they really ought to step it up and work on that.
graniteangler31 said:Look, there are plenty of folks on this forum following the lower English leagues, so why don't we just spin up a dedicated thread for that instead of clogging up the "Other Leagues" section? 🍿
Eric Fox7 said:Can we please get our own dedicated subforum ☕?

Starting next season.
Anthony Jackson2 said:Think this thread will hit 100 posts per season? 😁
Patrick Wright2 said:We’re gonna be looking at over 100 entries every single day. ☕

Total flop of an idea, real forum regulars are feeling pretty let down 😢
Robert Torres said:I don't really see the point in starting a thread just for the English lower leagues. There are already two threads where you can follow that stuff easily, so I don't get why we need a third one...
Not to mention it’s just going to clutter up the 'Other Leagues' section, which is basically the only spot where actual football fans hang out without all the constant arguing and trolling. Honestly, I'm against piling up these extra threads...
If I were a moderator, I’d be dead set against this idea ☕
One of the mods already gave the green light on this thread a few pages back. The only rule here is that you gotta keep the content coming, and honestly, I’ve got full faith they’re gonna deliver.
George Ward7 said:What's the plan? I mean, what are you even thinking? I guess I'm just sitting here waiting for something actually interesting to happen, but who knows, right? Maybe I'll just grab a coffee and see if anything changes. Honestly, I haven't really decided yet.
I mean, I honestly thought we were talking about the Championship or even lower than that. Maybe I just totally misread the situation, I guess.
Everything’s just moving down the ladder now, from the Championship all the way down to the North and South Conferences. For the kickoff, we could probably build out more of an intro for ourselves—like I could handle the League 1 stuff, and then the Griffins can take care of the Conference Premier and everything below that...
Emily Ward3 said:I’m really digging the concept for this new topic. I’m hopeful they’ll give Mexico some recognition over there too. It’s a bit like how a major league scout might overlook a diamond in the rough—you have to look everywhere. Perhaps you could even branch out into the lower English leagues?
We'll get on that right at the start of next season. Also, count me in for opening the thread.
I'm all over the Premier League, the Championship, and both League One and Two, plus I've got my eyes glued to the Australian league right now, so I’m more than happy to dive into any talk about those. If you guys really want me to, I can definitely expand my coverage to include Ligue 1 and Serie A too—specifically focusing on the Lyon and Milan matches.
I’m not even sure how to label this flick, maybe just—wacky? 🤷
The plot involving Begnin was an absolute riot for me. It’s basically a loud, blunt satire on how much the media messes with people's heads in today's world, but hey, it was a blast regardless. Another huge win was seeing the gorgeous Penélope Cruz 😍
Everything else was just... meh. The whole movie feels like a bunch of random postcards from Rome featuring a few different little stories that are mostly, like I said, just wacky, but there’s zero depth or actual substance to them. The characters are totally bland and forgettable; I didn't care about them one bit and they just didn't move me at all. I have absolutely no reason to ever revisit this movie because it just didn't hit home for me in any way. You can see a few recurring themes that pop up throughout Allen's career (mostly through the lens of Allen's and Baldwin's characters), but honestly, I've seen it all before.
Bottom line, it's a decent enough watch if you want something light with a couple of bright spots, but compared to the rest of Woody Allen's filmography, it’s actually a pretty weak entry.
