he’s still got a long way to go before he gets there...
I think you've got it right there on Broadway... actually, wait, it’s not even Broadway, it’s just that first little side street on the right that heads up toward Midtown
man, who even cares about these shitty elevators... 🤣 🤣 🤣 ☕

Man, I hope you never have to deal with walking down twenty-five flights of stairs... 😂
Nah, you just don't get what I'm saying... sure, in those super crowded places like NYC, that kind of setup might actually make sense, but come on, it's not like we have thousands of people living on every single floor here. It’s honestly such a fluke if everyone from a sixteen-story building ends up crammed into one elevator when there are three others sitting right there waiting...
Man, you just don't get that we aren't exactly walking around with skyscrapers the size of the Empire State Building... honestly, you're talking like there are five thousand people packed into one average-sized office building, which just isn't the case... it’s more about comfort than actually needing all that space
and all this obsession with massive urban hubs that are way too crowded... let's just give people an extra two minutes of their lives back, especially since their quality of life depends on it...
placidjackal36 said:1) Someone just standing on some random floor has zero clue how crowded an elevator actually is or which one is stopping where, so they can't exactly pick the least packed one. The way crowds shift is totally unpredictable and can be a real pain...
By using a parity system, you basically force exactly half the building to use one elevator, which really cuts down on those crowds.
2) Do you even have any idea how much a single elevator and its shaft costs to install through a whole skyscraper? 🙂
🤣 🤣 🤣 ,wait, do you seriously think people on a random floor are standing there weighing their options like, "hmm, which one should I hop into?" No way, their whole goal is just to get moving as fast as possible, and if they happen to end up in a crowded car, well, that's just life... most high-rises around here probably top out at maybe 25 stories, so even if I'm exaggerating, the ride lasts maybe 30 seconds tops, so if people are really that bothered by it, they can just go build their own private elevator if they're such a huge pain...
and honestly, I’m just feeling that old school vibe from deep down in my soul... like those classic days back in the day
So it’s St. Patrick's Day, and I honestly don't get why we even bother with it... you see this huge crowd of people throwing on kilts—which aren't even Irish, they're Scottish, but hey, nobody actually knows the difference anyway—just drinking and screaming their heads off without having any clue who the guy actually was... just shoving those kilts on and acting like big shots while sipping Guinness and pretending to be some hardcore Irishman...🙄
I mean, why not just install three elevators that service every single floor? It’s gonna cut down the wait times regardless of whether one handles even floors and the other handles odd... we're talking about three damn elevators here anyway...

Honestly, the beer situation is a total disaster right now and it’s even worse $3.00, but hey, things will turn around eventually...

I haven't even laid eyes on them since that whole mess back in June or July...
Hats off to whoever actually reached out to them🙏
Man, thank God for that Clash Majko tribute... his last show was at the House of Blues back in 2022, and honestly, the whole program was solid. They’re probably gonna tour through places like Austin and Nashville soon too... oh, and quick question, is there any chance we might see SUPERHIKSE sometime in the near future? What's the deal with them lately?
Man, it feels like it’s been forever since they popped up... I was honestly starting to think they’d just vanished into thin air, but those guys are always such a good group, especially that one guy, I can't even remember his name, or whatever...

The last time I actually watched something worth my time was Walk the Line—that Cash biopic... but all this other stuff everyone keeps hyping up as these "masterpieces" is just a total disaster, especially when it's airing on ABC
