Come on, don't blow it... Is this actually for real? 😂

So, here is the drummer for Pendleton's upcoming tour.

🙂
Personally, I find the punk side much more compelling than the main act 🤷

Luckily, Muse is playing Glastonbury, which happens to overlap with Coachella. Unfortunately, Axl Rose is also on the lineup, along with Hot Chip, MGMT, and Vampire Weekend.

Kai, I thought you were supposed to be an insider?...
I honestly think I’d prefer the Southside lineup instead.
Tinariwen, Amadou & Miriam 👋 🙂

They're playing at Madison Square Garden on July 3rd. Tickets are about $25...
I’d go with Joseph Fritzl & basement kids 👍
Any good opening acts for Vuc's main set? 👍
He was a total joke. Who are you kidding?
Of course the die-hard fans were buzzing. I’d be losing my mind too if Joe Strummer or Moz showed up on my doorstep, but that doesn't mean the rest of us casual onlookers would remember it as a actually good show...
To’s true, they aren’t exactly in the same league. Take the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival from two years ago, when they played just as night was starting to settle in, and compare that to the YYYs set. The timing is roughly similar, and both are major players in the industry, but let’s be real—Karen organized an outdoor gig, whereas at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, people were mostly just sitting on the ground, except for the hardcore fans right up in the front row. It really comes down to whether you can command an open space or not. There are plenty of factors involved, including the genre of music, but I think these two are actually perfect for a comparison. One group absolutely kills it outdoors, while the others simply don't. Simple as that...
Kyle Wilson74 said:You aren't really listening to what I'm saying. 😠 The guy I was quoting was talking about how certain bands end up putting on a total disaster of a show at festivals simply because they aren't "festival bands." Personally, I think that's a pretty ridiculous notion.

If you just look back at how Nerd and the Editors performed at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last year, you might find it easier to make sense of my point...
rise against the machine 🙂

Most of what you guys listed aren't even true festival acts... it would be just like having Lily Allen headline last year. Honestly, it’s pretty pathetic. If you want to see bands like Wilco, maybe go find a dive bar in some small town and marvel at those American hipsters 😍

What we actually need here is someone like Moby—someone nobody actually likes, but everyone ends up having a great time with...

Ethan Morales22 said:So you're telling me you only set aside about 200 USD for all those utility bills and stuff in items 1 and 2?

Yes, I pay about $533 for everything. It's a bit higher in the winter since the heating is just turned on via $50. There are only two of us in the apartment, so I suppose I'm not exactly the most representative example here...

Now, tell me, what percentage—or ratio, I suppose?—of a paycheck does buying an iPod in Mexico actually take up?
The price of an iPod is about $467(180 dollars) whether you're in America, Mexico, or even East Timor.

EDIT: I see David Rogers18 mentioned the iPod as well. That is probably the best global example of purchasing power, with the exception of the USA, of course. I mean, in places like Sweden or Scotland, social assistance can exceed 2000 pounds or euros, so buying an iPod there is probably the equivalent of us picking up some second-rate MP3 player...

Ethan Morales22 said:Alright, can someone actually break this down for me? I need a comparison for those few countries mentioned above regarding these specific points:

1. Electricity rates

2. What people call "rent" costs—basically all those monthly utility bills combined (you know, the whole mess of heating, water, trash, and all those other annoying maintenance fees they tack on)

3. Real estate prices—specifically the average cost per square foot when buying, and if possible, what it costs to rent out a studio, a one-bedroom, a two-bedroom, etc.

4. Sales tax by country

5. Gas prices (regular unleaded)

6. The cost of a basic grocery basket, since we already have some data on that

So, for those first five items, I want everyone to list the numbers for their own country.🙂

Washington, D.C.

1. and 2. roughly around $500 plus electricity, water, phone, mobile, internet, cable, local municipal fees...

3. ~$500/sq ft

4. 6% (depending on the state, really)

5. Regular gas is about $2.25?

6. A grocery basket... is that something you spread on toast?

Honestly, who still falls for such nonsensical ramblings? And besides...I’m asking you all—if you happen to be the very last person leaving the States on the 19th, please, just make sure to turn out the lights...

That's why you just grab a high-end DSLR and call yourself an "official photographer"...😁>

Yeah, that seems to be the case. 😁

By the way, Kevin Chavez3, do you happen to have anything for sale at the moment? 🙂

Josh, Milojko, and I used to dance the line together from the hills of Nebraska all the way down to a plate of beans in Kansas City... 😍
