What do you think heaven looks like? in Spirituality ·
Anthony Perez9 said:Hey, Anthony Perez9...
We don't even have to believe it...
Jesus talks about the soul and body being thrown into hell...
That’s why the Pope and Francis have been talking lately about how we're facing the disappearance of humanity in hell. Basically, the soul is just vanishing.[/I]

So you're a heretic... respect. 👍

That’s just standard Catholic doctrine... They claim Mary physically ascended from her grave—whether she died first or was still breathing, the Church keeps things vague—along with mass killers like Elijah and Enoch.
So you're a heretic... respect. 👍

That's basically what the Catholic Church believes.... And the Virgin Mary always ascended bodily from her grave (whether she was dead first or still alive, the Church hasn't really specified), plus that mass murderer saint Elijah, Enoch...

Man, I was actually thinking about your usual stuff regarding hell...
As for the whole thing about the Savior having an eternal body in paradise, I'm with the Church on that...
I mean, it would be pretty depressing not to have my own body in eternity, I guess...

So, what do you guys think—will we actually have bodies in heaven?

Catholics have to believe in having a physical body in heaven, since Jesus ascended there along with Mary. Physically. And everyone in hell is physical too, because how else would their skin be replaced while burning (according to the Quran)? Plus, those 72 virgins are material beings there.

Anyway, how do you picture heaven?

Non-stop bliss without any kind of challenge sounds just like nothingness to me. There’s no difference.

It’s also a little creepy. If you have to be eternally, irrevocably conscious in that state, with zero chance of checking out—just constantly staring at Isusa_alKrishrishn—it's as haunting as the thought of just vanishing entirely.

So, it's pointless.

An extension of a good life on Earth would be great,
but being immortal beings stuck without any challenges forever... yeah, that's pretty grim.

Hey Anonymous...
We don't actually have to believe that...
Jesus talks about the destruction of both soul and body in hell...
I guess that's why Pope Francis was saying recently that humans just vanish in hell. Like, the soul just ceases to exist...

It just isn't a BBB song...
It doesn't have that raw, simple BBB spirit. It’s more like whining and bellyaching. That "Song with a Torch" track is garbage too. I really hope they stop playing these songs...

Maybe you're the one on strike, buddy?
Or maybe you just got confused about who was actually cheering yesterday?

Yeah, you’re right about that. I guess we can't really complain to these kids when the old generations left them nothing but a wreck. These kids don't even know what the North used to be like. They'll probably just think I'm messing with them. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting sentimental, but whenever I walk down by the fence and see there isn't a single monster left in the stands, it hits me. Memories just come flooding back. And honestly, the group's current rhythm is actually pretty good—finally focusing on the supporter stuff. And maybe poking a little fun at those idiots who now have to travel all the way across the country just to cheer aggressively against Dynamo. I suppose they've got another ten years of misery ahead of them. God help them...

And once we focus solely on Dynamo, those few thousand BBB guys from Madrid in 2011 will probably drift back to the North...

And then THAT'S the RENEWED NORTH!!!
Because that's the plan, right? We want to bring people back to the stands? Well, you can't exactly bring anyone back except the ones who distanced themselves because they didn't buy into the group's reasons...
Yeah, that's what we want. At least, that's what I want...

And our main ally here is Mother Mary from Medjugorje; let's just pray she helps us miraculously win Europe this year...☕

Man, I miss those old days back in the North stands...
The North used to be absolute madness. Now? It’s just this bland, soul-less crowd up there that doesn't have a clue how to actually cheer from the heart. It feels like someone just swept all the true fanatics right off the bleachers...

I was just sitting here thinking about how everything went completely downhill...
It’s just like that whole string of pathetic little songs, you know? That "I'm breaking free from my youth" nonsense where they end up sounding all soft and weak while they sing. You can't even recognize that raw Bad Boys style anymore. It’s just a total disaster...

The atmosphere at the games is just a total disaster now. It’s honestly not even the same crowd anymore...

I mean, does anyone actually need to go out and beat up The Cohort in the middle of NYC?

It’s been about a year and a half since I was slapped with this specific probationary period following my return, so I’m wondering if I still have to deal with it or if I can finally be cleared. It isn't exactly easy living every single second thinking one tiny slip-up could lead to a permanent ban because of this cloud hanging over my head. It’s suffocating, honestly. I haven't made a single mistake since I got back—not even one—just like I promised. I haven't even picked up a single warning, so I guess that should count for something when I'm asking to move on...

Can someone please tell me if there are still tickets left for the nosebleed section today? I need to know if I can grab some...

BTB.

Look, for what we're actually talking about here, Washington, D.C. has maybe a million people, realistically. And I'm not even counting the whole surrounding metro area. I'm not including places like Ivanic, or towns like Annapolis, Boulder, and so on...

Alright, look, since ego refused to actually explain why I got my second strike, can anyone here even clarify what the deal is? I’m talking about the second strike, specifically. Not the first one, the second. Nobody would even show me the proof for either of the two posts ego pointed to. It’s obvious as hell they don't qualify for a strike, but hey, feel free to try and prove me wrong. I’m ready to argue this until the cows come home if I have to. Let's see what I supposedly did to earn a second strike...

And I’m taking back what I said about being a troll. I wasn't trolling anyone; I just said that because I felt like you guys wanted me to grovel. Truth is, I haven't messed with anyone. That’s just a headspace issue for some moderator, I guess. If they can't handle a joke about atheists, or if they're so insecure about their own religion that they have to hunt down anyone on the religion subforum who questions their faith, then they shouldn't be moderating. People like that aren't fit for the job, and regular users shouldn't have to suffer for it...

I guess the only thing left that might save me now is a positive word from the moderator, Bubbles...

Hey Bubbles, I'm waiting on your response...

Look, I honestly don't think Tyler Cruz32 or Bubbles have any beef with me. Like, they’d probably just let me back in if I asked...

Hopefully, I won't get hit with some massive, nasty surprise coming from them?

Let's hear it...

Look, nobody ever actually sat me down and explained why I was partially banned. Honestly, I didn't even get a formal warning before they pulled the plug on me, so I'm thinking this was probably just some former moderator holding a grudge. Maybe it was personal. I was a highly respected member over at the religion forum, and I don't think many users there have dealt with fewer strikes than I did. So, really, there shouldn't be any reason to keep me off the chain...

My six-month partial access for the religion section expired a while back, so I was hoping someone could just unlock that for me again...
