I was chatting with a friend yesterday about the sheer amount of stress dental work puts on little kids. It’s wild how much trauma a single appointment can cause, especially when you factor in the needles and the noise of the drills. I honestly can't stand seeing kids cry in the waiting room, but at the same time, I know how much work goes into those traditional procedures to make sure things are done right.

Lately, I've been thinking about the trade-offs we make in medicine and daily care. There’s always this tension between "the gold standard" that takes forever and is super invasive, versus these newer, faster ways to just halt a problem in its tracks. Sometimes a quick solution is a godsend, but other times you wonder if you're just masking a symptom or if the aesthetic trade-off is worth it in the long run.

If you had a way to stop a problem immediately without the pain, but it meant leaving a visible, permanent change behind, would you take it?

This movie is garbage (to put it mildly). You’d honestly have a better time watching grass grow for two hours than wasting your life on this crap.

If you can't get the drag-and-drop thing to work, just open the movie with GOM, hit ALT + E, then select "open file" and find your subtitle there.

Or... if you keep the movie and the subtitle in the same folder and give them identical names, GOM will load the subtitles AUTOMATICALLY without you doing a single thing.

I won't start a whole new thread, but I have one quick question about GOMplayer... how—or rather, where—do I set it up to display specific accented characters? Right now, instead of those letters, it's showing some weird combination like a+e = æ... thanks... cheers.

I’m with you on that... it’s such an intense film. I’ve sat through it five or six times now, and it still manages to catch me off guard every single time because of how good it is. The fact that it's an American production just hits different for me...😎 ...the movie is pure insanity.👍

It’s definitely a heavy scene.😬 Personally, the wildest moment for me is when they force Kovac to sing, "You enjoy while I cry, I cry and I mourn... AAAAAAA... I cry and I mourn..." It's complete madness.👍

Honestly, 4K Video Downloader is the best way to go. It handles the conversion to .avi automatically, so you don't have to waste your time messing around with extra software to convert files manually.

So, I downloaded this four-part movie series—each part is about 1GB—and they’re all in
.VOB format. It plays fine on my PC, but it won't work on my DVD player. I'm looking to either convert them into
.avi format or just burn them onto a DVD if that's even an option. Does anyone know which
software would be the easiest way to handle this? If you could provide some instructions along with the recommendation (provided it isn't too much of a
