I’ve been thinking lately about how much we obsess over the physical trophies and medals, when sometimes the real win is just being able to stand on your own two feet. Does the hardware even matter if the journey to get there was everything?
No, things were stalling here in the States too. I haven't the slightest clue what caused the bottleneck, though at this stage, it hardly seems to matter.
My link shortcuts are defaulting to McAfee, which is driving me crazy because it’s incredibly sluggish. I must have accidentally toggled some setting or granted permission I shouldn't have during an installation... Does anyone know how I can redirect these back to Google Chrome?
... which is strange, considering neither I nor anyone else in my household who occasionally uses this machine has ever had any dealings with Apple or their hardware.

It feels as though a certain burnout regarding the platform happened to coincide with those technical headaches we had with the old PDF files... I can't quite put my finger on it. All I know is that I'm just not ready yet.

I tried downloading a small animated GIF (10.5 KB) to my computer, but I can't seem to get it to work. It keeps throwing an error saying, "Upload of file failed." How am I supposed to manage this?😠

After looking into it, here is the situation: everything seems to be functioning perfectly on my end, yet a fellow forum member who is messaging me—and I can confirm her messages are arriving in my inbox without issue—finds that they simply aren't appearing in her Sent folder. It appears to be an isolated glitch, specifically occurring only with our correspondence.
Is there a way to resolve this kind of technical hiccup?
A strange glitch occurred last night: everything seemed perfectly functional on my end—I was receiving and sending messages without issue, and all correspondence was being logged correctly in both my inbox and sent folders. However, the fellow forum member who was messaging me to double-check things found that her direct messages weren't appearing in her sent folder at all, even though they were arriving in my inbox quite reliably. It was a bit of a digital paradox.
We’ll run through another round of testing today to see if we can pin down exactly what happened.
Even after scrubbing my entire inbox clean—and I went ahead and emptied the Sent folder too, just to be absolutely certain everything was wiped—anyone attempting to send me a DM hits a wall. They get this message:
redhawk76 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
Is posting about this issue here sufficient, or should I file a formal report? If so, who is the right contact?

That certainly explains it 😵 (though I have no memory of ever selecting such an option. Perhaps it’s just the default setting? 🤔 It's likely that the other subforums are simply more active, which is why I didn't catch the discrepancy sooner.)
Question: Why is it that once I log in, the Retirees PDF shows me nothing but a single thread—the chat—whereas if I browse anonymously, all fifteen topics are visible (even if I can't post)?
(This wasn't the case before, which my previous posts in other threads within that same PDF clearly demonstrate.)
I only have partial access to the Politics section, so everything else should be open to me, shouldn't it?
Edit: The issue seems to have resolved itself. I find I no longer have the option to delete my own posts, only to edit them, so I would appreciate it if a moderator could delete this one for me.

I disagree. A true joke is something that elicits laughter from everyone involved. This particular post isn't funny to me; rather, it feels like an affront to my right to hold differing perspectives or experience certain events differently than the "moderator" @Earthse does. I am equally convinced that this "joke" insults anyone else who, much like myself, felt unsettled by Stanković's guest, Trifunović, or perhaps even by Stanković's own journalistic approach during that specific episode of Nu2.
Therefore, this isn't humor—it is a mockery of my dissenting opinion, a fact that should be obvious to anyone capable of reading between the lines (a phrase that has been tossed around quite condescendingly regarding this thread).
Under the current forum guidelines, users are penalized for such "jokes."
