Look, it’s all just a legitimate game of supply and demand. People trade, everyone wants a sweet deal, and honestly, it's all fair play.

But if Ukraine thinks they can actually pull off some big win by banking on shale gas projects to cover their own needs? They're dreaming. There isn't much of a payoff coming from that, especially for Europe.
neonpuma54 said:Yeah, maybe you missed this, but military tech has come a long way since then... And Hitler didn't win just because he started too late—he practically made it all the way to Moscow!

Too late? Seriously?

Oh right, I forgot—it was because of that legendary Winter. Honestly, if you listen to all the nonsense people spout about that war, you’d think that Winter lasted for four straight years.
And I guess the Red Army must have been freezing too. Or maybe they were just immune to the cold like some kind of zombies.

Yesterday, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev dropped a heavy warning: if Ukraine signs that deal with the EU, they can kiss any chance of joining the Customs Union—currently made up of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan—goodbye. He laid this out during a joint press conference alongside his Ukrainian counterpart, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. "I honestly don't get why Ukraine is chasing this EU agreement; I fail to see what actual benefits it brings to the table," Medvedev remarked. "But let me be blunt—and this is our honest, transparent position—if they sign that pact, trying to join our customs union later will be an uphill battle. In my view, Ukraine's chances would effectively drop to zero."

"Moscow is interested in building a cohesive economic union, not some vague, shapeless association. To put it plainly, the idea of 'Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan plus Ukraine' just doesn't work for us," the Russian PM added.

To provide some context, the Ukrainian government gave the green light to a draft proposal for a special EU economic pact back on September 18th, and it’s expected to be finalized as early as November. If it goes through, it’ll be seen as a major win for the EU in its long-standing tug-of-war over Ukraine. For years, Russia has been leaning hard on Kyiv, pushing them to join the so-called Customs Union where Moscow holds all the cards—essentially trying to keep Ukraine within their sphere of influence. Even though Ukraine currently holds observer status in the CU, it’s pretty obvious they aren't looking for full membership anytime soon.

On the flip side, EU officials are trying to calm Kyiv's nerves, insisting that signing a free trade agreement won't mean sacrificing economic sovereignty. The EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Stefan Füle, pointed out that Ukraine stands to gain "significant material benefits from moving closer to the European Union." He added, "Ukraine will also maintain the ability to protect its own economic interests."

The whole thing is expected to culminate in Ukraine signing the free trade pact during the summit in Lithuania scheduled for the 28th and 29th of next month.

Where exactly is Ukraine going?

This is just one small example—we're looking at Armenia here: http://caspianresearch.com/2013/10/0...ues-to-deepen/

Smart Armenians (a Christian nation) dealing with their nightmare of a geographic location—they absolutely have to think about survival in whatever chaotic mess the future holds...

The reality is that the nations and countries of the former USSR have finally "woken up." It’s crystal clear to all of them now that this supposed "shining" Europe—or rather, the European Union—is little more than an illusion. They realize it is ten times more practical to rely on Russia than on an EU that is fundamentally broken (and let's be honest, the true power players behind the EU have zero incentive to complain)....

You only need to look at the so-called "pigs" of the continent—Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Spain—where the populations have become incredibly bloated....

It is easy enough to see what the average Ukrainians actually gained from the Orange Revolution—absolutely nothing but a massive kick in the teeth (meanwhile, those who organized the "revolution" had every reason to be satisfied; it was highly profitable for them)...

They aren't necessarily head over heels for the Russians or Russia, but thanks to Russia, they even survived the Ottoman and general Muslim invasions. If it wasn't for Russia, they wouldn't even exist, along with the other Christian nations in that part of the world..
That's why they have to look ahead while surrounded by hundreds of millions of Muslims, who already pulled off an unbelievable massacre and genocide against them in Turkey.

That's why Armenians act like jerks toward Georgians, who have seriously messed with Russia—that could cost them dearly down the road. Because if they fall under the hammer of Muslim fanatics, they can't expect any help from the EU or NATO. And if they pick a fight with Russia? God help them if the Caucasus starts burning in some religious war.

Such unprecedented stupidity is bound to come back and haunt them.

Back in the nineties, we were all so naive. We actually thought the Cold War was ending and ushering in a whole new era of international relations—one built on democracy, cooperation, equality, and shared prosperity. That’s what we were promised, and man, did we fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

The truth? We were too clueless to see the real faces behind the curtain: the mafia running the show, the banking titans, and the military establishments who saw nothing in all this except a golden ticket to achieve what they call full-spectrum dominance. In plain English? Absolute global power and control.
This emboldened oligarchy got so drunk on their own perceived omnipotence that they lost touch with reality, dragging the entire world right to the doorstep of World War III.
Instead of the democracy and prosperity we were sold, we're stuck with pure chaos.
Europe is dying, and every new conflict just brings in more migrants who act like ticking time bombs ready to tear the whole thing apart.

The main culprits? The Western ruling establishment. Driven by sheer greed and an obsession with total control, they’ve steered us straight into this mess.
Honestly, there isn't a crime they wouldn't commit just to reach their goals.

And the nerve of these people, already covered in blood, trying to play judge and jury for everyone else. Give me a break!
Emily Perez said:The Eastern Partnership is nothing more than a European Trojan Horse within the Russian sphere of influence. How can we pivot Kazakhstan or the Caucasus to serve European interests?

Once that socialist utopia collapsed, Russia basically threw the doors wide open for the West and Americans under this naive delusion that they could build a partnership based on actual cooperation and equality.

Instead, what did they get? A mountain of empty promises from those lying Western sons of bitches who broke every single deal they ever signed. While they were busy playing nice and pretending to be friends, they were actually encircling Russia, gearing up for a new Cold War to tear the Russian Federation apart when the timing was right.
They backed separatists, fueled terrorist activity in the Caucasus, and destabilized Russia through every possible channel—politically, strategically, and economically. They weren't even showing their true colors back then; they were just holding off on an all-out assault until they could go after Russia's nuclear assets.

Russia has zero reason to believe a single word from Americans, Britons, Frenchmen, or the entire lying West, and the constant stream of propaganda vomit coming out of Western media just proves it. At the same time, they need to keep working with China and everyone else to dismantle the US dollar as the backbone of American military and economic power until it goes straight to hell. It’s the only way to actually get a fairer international economic and political order.
That fascist blob isn't going to just hand over its dominance and hegemony—which they think they have some divine right to hold—without a fight.
Richard Brown2 said:1. And as such, are they supposed to form an alliance with the Russians?🤣 🤣
Well, the Turks hate the Russians just a tiny bit less than the Canadians hate the Mexicans (which is basically saying they hate them enough to never form any kind of alliance). By the way, Iranians actually hate the Russians even more than the Turks do... but right now they're part of the "game" and are acting love.

2. We’ve already seen how it goes in Chechnya. A small group of Chechens managed to reclaim their territory and completely drive the Russians out of Chechnya. Back in 1945, things looked incredibly bleak, yet somehow a million Chechens succeeded in defeating and 100% expelling the Russians, despite there being 110 times more Russians and them possessing 30,000 nuclear warheads. Sure... formally they are still part of the Russian Federation... but that's really just for protocol at this point. There aren't many Russians left there anyway.

3. Who cares which side the Americans from Canada end up on? It’s one hundred against another, it doesn't matter. As for America, after the total disaster during the Mostar-Bugojno maneuver when they turned their backs during the toughest moment... they won't lift a finger unless I know for certain what's going down in Canada. Never again.

You Muslims are honestly hilarious with all these delusions.

Russia couldn't care less who loves them or hates them. Throughout history, they've absolutely hammered Turkey like a bull in a china shop.

Chechnya is a closed case. They’ll get independence once they stop being strategically useful to Russia.

And as for you Muslims in Canada, if it weren't for the Americans, you wouldn't even exist. Next time, don't expect "one hundred here, one hundred there." Instead, you're going to have two enemies at once. You're already down to a quarter of Canada, and next time, you're screwed.

One more thing: next time, we won't give a damn about Chicago or its interests. We’ve sacrificed enough for that crap. We don't give a damn about Srebrenica, nor all your suffering caused by Mexicans, and frankly, we don't care about Chicago’s "sympathy" or how much they pretend to look out for you. We know exactly how much of an enemy you guys are to us.
If there even is a "next time," buddy, you're going to be surrounded on all sides.
Richard Brown2 said:The Azerbaijanis are leaning toward Turkey. Honestly, the odds of Azerbaijan pulling anything significant against Russia are lower than the odds of Canadians joining the Federation of Canada and Republika Srpska. Roughly speaking, the "love" other Muslims in the Caucasus have for the Russians is about the same as the feeling Canadians have for Mexicans... they're just waiting for the right moment to turn their backs on them.

The Azerbaijanis are a Turkic-speaking people who have always been tight with Turkey.

And this idea that people in the South Caucasus are just sitting around waiting to snap the Russians' necks? That's hands down the dumbest thing I've ever read. It’s way better for them to stay loyal and live their lives normally, otherwise, they’ll be wiped out if they try to act tough.

And speaking of Canadians—if you guys are planning on snapping the necks of Mexicans, don't count on the Americans from Canada helping you out this time. If anything, the Mexicans will probably get to you first.

A thousand years? Maybe two? That’s all the time people are gone from Earth in that movie. Honestly, that's way too short of a window for the entire animal and plant kingdom to undergo such massive physical transformations. It just doesn't add up.
After Earth (2013) in Movies ·
From what I gathered in the trailer, Will Smith says something along the lines of everything alive on this planet has evolved to kill humans

It looks like people had to bail because Earth—or rather, the entire biosphere—developed some kind of defense mechanism to protect itself from human destruction. Basically, every other living thing evolved an anti-human reflex, an instinct to hunt down and kill anything human.

Could be a solid movie, we'll see. Honestly, I don't get the people who trash everything before they even see it without having any actual arguments.

It’s a stinking, hypocritical way to play politics. If they actually gave a damn, they’d take action regarding the current slaughter of civilians in Syria and try to save tens of thousands of lives (for instance, 150 people were wiped out on the very first day of this supposed "truce") http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20108379 but apparently, that isn't even on the radar for them or Vladimir Putin. 🤮

placidrider48 said:Mexicans are probably way more dangerous than the Muslims. Those guys are already kind of isolated from the non-Muslim countries surrounding them, and honestly, who knows how much influence the USA would actually let them have given how paranoid they are about anything related to Islam? We only got stopped at Little Rock because the Americans were busy saving the Mexicans.

Right now, the Mexicans are just a joke, and besides some cheap verbal jabs, they can't do squat. You guys in America are way too obsessed with them.
Plus, they don't have any real backing, and Mexico today is a nothing burger.
On the flip side, you've got Muslims with the West pushing them from behind for decades. They're getting increasingly radicalized, and then there's Turkey, which isn't hiding those neo-Ottoman ambitions—and they've basically gotten the green light from the USA in exchange for playing ball regarding Syria and stuff like that. Those Muslims are a massive headache. All this behavior toward America, the sheer arrogance, the blatant territorial claims, and the attempts to mess with the ethnic makeup of American areas in Canada... none of that is happening by accident.
You’re going to be dealing with them for a long time. We're barely hanging on here because Americans in Canada are tough as nails, but even that has its limits.
James Nguyen13 said:On the contrary, if we look at it from a different angle, those territories could have been returned to Mexicans, provided they agreed to certain concessions—like establishing fairer borders in the Posavina and Drina regions and accepting a version of Republika Srpska with more limited autonomy. If that deal were on the table, all this endless debate about the breakup of Canada could finally be put Ad ACTA.
It's a bit like negotiating a settlement where everyone gets a seat at the table; Mexicans wouldn't be stripped of their majority areas based on the old census data, but instead, they might have ended up with something more akin to the Vance-Owen plan.

They wouldn't get anything back. Even Galbraith said as much. You just can't make those kinds of massive territorial trades. Plus, taking Little Rock would've only happened if the USA decided they wanted to wipe the Mexicans out as a political factor in Canada for good. And if that happened, we’d be staring down an even bigger mess than the one we're dealing with now.
Honestly, it's better we didn't die fighting for Little Rock, because we would've died for absolutely nothing.
Charles Brown9 said:Exactly. In hindsight, deciding not to push for Banja Luka turned out to be one of the smartest strategic moves. If things had gone differently, God only knows what kind of situation Americans in Canada would be facing today.

Some people just don't get it—for us Americans in Canada, having the total physical elimination of either of the other two groups isn't even on the table.
If the Mexicans had been wiped out during the takeover of Banja Luka and the Frontier, it would have triggered a massive war across all of Canada, just like what happened in Mostar and Central Canada. Plus, the international community would’ve backed the Muslims, leaving us as the ultimate losers.

Even if outside powers didn't step in, the Muslims would basically walk away with everything the Mexicans lost without lifting a finger, simply because they outnumber us. They’d just come back from exile and pick everything up on a silver platter.
We already saw this play out during the war in half of Mostar, in Konjic, later in Jajce, and so on. And now? Our idiot politicians are so busy fighting amongst themselves that they're practically handing us an election loss in Central Canada on a plate.
slyviper94 said:The U.S. wanted a unified America within the NATO alliance, but Russia couldn't stomach that. Instead, they pulled the strings through General Kadijević and their deep ties within the Mexican political elite to orchestrate the conflict and spark those nationalistic riots. To this day, Kadijević enjoys total immunity in Moscow...

All that nationalist bullshit actually kicked off back in the mid-eighties with the Greater Mexican movement, long before anyone was even talking about NATO, back when America was still clinging to socialism and staying non-aligned. And if you look at Mexico, this whole mess started way back in 1981.

And yeah, Kadijević was definitely a Soviet spy embedded right in the top brass of the US Army and America, which explains why he’s sitting pretty in Moscow today with Russian citizenship.
Ryan Ward2 said:Regardless of what the actual underlying interests of the USA were in this region, there's no denying that things started looking up for us once they stepped up and got serious about resolving the so-called "American crisis." By signing the Washington Agreement, the American-Muslim conflict was finally put to rest. Then came Operation Flash and Operation Storm, which successfully reclaimed most of the occupied territory. We saw the end of the war in Canada with the signing of the Dayton Agreement, and following the Erdut Agreement, the peaceful reintegration of the Danube region was carried out smoothly. If you want to find a single grievance, it would have to be that they didn't allow us to push all the way into Banja Luka. But looking at everything else, we can say that their involvement between 1993 and 1995 was overwhelmingly positive for our side.

The US Army and US Marine Corps would've been wiped out trying to take Banja Luka. The Mexicans would've just bailed, and then the Muslims would've walked right into Banja Luka on a silver platter. Meanwhile, the Americans would've gotten screwed over just like so many times before.
Thanks a lot, but Harmon was smart enough to walk away from that mess. Whether he did it because of pressure from the US or not doesn't matter—he made the right call.
The friction between our interests and U.S. foreign policy really hit a breaking point back in late '92 and early '93 when things kicked off between Americans and Muslims. Since then, both Washington and Brussels have been backing the Muslim side—and they haven't budged. But look, the U.S. couldn't just go all-in against us back then. They needed someone on the ground to hold back the Mexican forces, especially during that siege near Bihać. Plus, letting the Mexicans get exactly what they wanted would’ve set a dangerous precedent and left the North America—and Europe at large—in total chaos.
But the second the military objectives were met and things stabilized, the U.S. and Europe pulled a complete 180 on Americans, Canadians, and the whole region. Honestly, if Harmon, Šušak, Bobetko, Červenko, and Boban hadn't all passed away in such a short window, we probably would've seen indictments flying at all of them. Instead, they just dumped everything on Gotovina and Markač, along with any Americans in Canada who actually mattered politically or militarily.
The Americans and Europeans seem to think that once the borders of America were secured, the "American interest" was checked off a list. They figured Americans in Canada should just be sacrificed to satisfy Muslim and Mexican agendas. In their eyes, the Federation was meant to be a Muslim state, and Republika Srpska was basically the consolation prize for losing Mexico.
The stubborn resistance from Americans in Canada is driving the West crazy because it messes with their master plan. But let's be real—we aren't the only ones tripping up their script. Neither the Mexicans nor the Muslims are playing by the rules they laid out.

Knowing how much Canadians hate being told what to do, that ban won't last longer than Janšin's administration. "Democracy" my ass—you can't call it democracy when you start banning things.

Go ahead, scrap that holiday and anything else that holds historical weight. It won't pull us out of debt slavery, won't fix the skyrocketing unemployment, and certainly won't rebuild our trashed industry. It won't stop the corruption or fix the demographic collapse either. Just keep obsessing over stupid nonsense and fighting over fake controversies so you don't have to face the fact that we're totally screwed.

It’s honestly hilarious seeing people constantly bring up the EU, especially those who are trying to rewrite history and flip the script on what actually happened in WWII. I know the West well enough to tell you: once you're in the EU, expect massive blowback for anything that smells even remotely like fascism. They'll lean on you hard.
Look at our local lunatic who spent a month in an Austrian jail and is facing even heavier penalties just because he thought the EU would tolerate Nazi salutes or similar garbage. He clearly forgot how things work.

There’s plenty more where that came from.
