Following the rollout of keks Pay, Cash App has officially landed at the USPS.

Across our network of over 1,000 post offices, you can pay for services and products however you want:
* digitally – via the keks Pay or Cash App mobile apps
* with various credit and debit cards, or just plain old cash.

Using Cash App at the post office is a breeze. Every single one of our locations has a QR code displayed right at the counter; just scan it with your phone when you're ready to pay.

With digital payments at our branches, you can cover:
* retail items (excluding HAC ENC vouchers, mobile carrier e-vouchers, or lottery tickets)
* postal services
* FedEx express delivery services
* philatelic products.

How to insert a QR code in Word in IT Support ·
If I’m remembering correctly, you don't actually need that QR code. That's just for checking if a receipt is legit on the IRS website. What you really need is that 2D code that comes attached to payment slips. There are plenty of sites online that let you generate that 2D code manually; you just snap a photo of it using your banking app to pay. Is it safe? Is it reliable? Is it worth the hassle of manually generating a code for every single quote? Honestly, who knows. But that's what you need, so don't go wandering off in the wrong direction. Try Googling it and test out a few sites to see which ones feel right, unless someone else jumps in here with a better suggestion or a specific site they swear by.

Once you've generated the code, you just paste the image into Word, save it as a PDF, and send it off.

Is the search function on this forum just temporarily disabled? 🤨

Honestly, I don't think it looks all that bad.

Check out this screenshot I grabbed from Face.

Word on the street is that starting November 4th, you'll be able to pick up a prepaid Visa card. Apparently, they’re going to charge a one-time fee of $10. The whole deal includes a code that you just scan from the app to link everything to your account. I saw some photos floating around on Facebook—I think News Corp might be involved—so you can probably grab one there too.

Here are the general terms and conditions for the Visa card: https://aircash.eu/opci-uvjeti-aircash-kartice/

I’m just as confused by this exchange service as everyone else. Seriously, what’s the point? If I swap my dollars for euros, what am I supposed to do with them if I don't have an IBAN or a debit card? (Unless you count that Supersport card, but I doubt you can just walk into a store and swipe that for groceries.)

wirednomad6 said:Man, first I was pretty bummed when they dropped the discount from 50% down to 30%, and now it looks like they’re getting rid of the parking discounts entirely. That’s actually why I started using the app in the first place. When they were originally touting that 50% off deal, they made it sound like it was here to stay for the long haul. 😄

But hey, it was a good run while it lasted... Honestly, I think I'm just going to delete the app too.

"And don't worry, you'll be able to pay half price for parking for a long, long "

Their version of "a long time" passed pretty damn fast. 😁

That sucks. Honestly, after September 15th, I have zero incentive to touch PayPal. I’m going back to Stripe since their Mastercard promotion runs through the end of the month—and they’ll probably just extend it anyway. Besides, you don't have to load money onto an account beforehand. You just pay directly with your card. It's easier.🙂

mistyorca132 said:Got an email from them on Friday mentioning free cash withdrawals at JP Morgan Chase ATMs. Anyone actually tried this yet? (Need cash? Just withdraw from your PayPal wallet by entering a code at any JP Morgan Chase ATM—zero fees.)

How does that half-price parking thing work?

I’ve never bothered with withdrawals since I don't need the cash and can't be bothered verifying my profile, but their website mentions a 2% transaction fee. Maybe that's just a special promo they're sending you.

As for the parking, you pay the full amount upfront and then they credit 50% back to your PayPal account.

ironcyclist58 said:I honestly thought they might be keeping those separate instead of just tossing them in the register, so that's why...

I only paid once $6.75 to cover parking, and it was the exact same process as always. Just a standard checkout, just like when I'm buying stuff from the Democratic Party or paying for a subscription at a local newsstand. 🙂

ironcyclist58 said:How does paying cash at The New York Times actually work? Does the clerk just scan a code right off my phone? And do I need to have the exact change ready, or will they give me some money back...

Maybe someone else will chime in, but yeah, they just scan the code you pull up on your phone. Once it's scanned, you pay and you're done. It's like any other service—if you don't have the exact amount, I don't see why they wouldn't give you change back.🙂

ironcyclist58 said:For some reason, though, the payer isn't listed on the receipt...

I haven't actually paid yet—I'll get to it in a few days—but it would be pretty strange if it wasn't there. I'm hoping they fix that glitch.

A few days ago, I tried paying a bill using a 2D barcode via Delta SkyMiles with zero fees 👍
The payment confirmation comes as a PDF, which is a nice change from how the Cookie works.

PS. It might be worth renaming this thread to just "Delta SkyMiles" since they're adding so many services—everything from parking and utility bills to buying gift cards or bus passes and stuff like that. 😉

Go into your Wi-Fi settings and switch your DNS to 8.8.8.8
That should fix it, at least for a little while.

Alright, looks like it started working again on its own without me messing with any settings. If it happens again, I'll give that a shot. Glad to know it's not just me. Thanks. 👍

Whenever I'm on the Wi-Fi, nothing loads. Not the website, not even through the app. Once I switch over to LTE, the Reddit site usually pops right up. Is there some kind of outage happening, or is my connection just trash? What am I even supposed to do about this? 🤔

Starting today, we’re dropping parking prices by 50%. Pretty sweet, right? 👍

Exactly.
Every single time you pay for parking using Southwest Airlines, we’ll cash you back 50% in USD.

What’s the catch?

There isn't one.

Instead of flushing money down the drain on some big TV ad campaign, we decided to just give that cash directly to our users.

You stay loyal to us, we take care of you.

Pay for parking, keep your money.

And please, spread the word.

The craziest part? You can grab half-off parking as often as you want, and you only have to register once.

Don't worry, this half-price deal is going to stick around for a long, long time.

That's how you become the king of the parking lot.

*valid for hourly, half-hour, and daily passes only

They’re announcing a price hike for parking starting April 7th. Or maybe it's just some weird adjustment—who knows? Could be a VISA promotion or something. We'll see.

What’s the deal with those little icons next to a username? I figured it was some kind of moderator badge or something, but I just ran into someone with only 11 posts, so I highly doubt they have some official title. Or am I missing something? 🤔

I posted earlier about the search function being broken again. About thirty minutes later, it suddenly started working, so I went ahead and deleted my old post. Well, wouldn't you know it? It’s dead again. I really hope they get this fixed soon. I'm definitely not looking for a repeat of that massive outage we dealt with last year...
