Email notification issues (Part 2) in Forum Help! ·
I haven't changed my email address, and it is indeed a Yahoo account.
I check my spam folder every single time, so there is absolutely no chance it ended up there. Therefore, the message simply never arrived.

It is known to happen that an email is delayed or fails to arrive entirely. However, that is rare and usually only occurs when there are issues with the server.

I don't quite follow this? Does anyone know why this actually happens?
Email notification issues (Part 2) in Forum Help! ·
It appears as follows...

A few days ago, I received a private message here on the forum, yet the notification failed to reach my email inbox despite having the option enabled (specifically, the setting to receive an email alert whenever a new private message arrives).

I only discovered the message by pure chance while navigating through my account settings to update some profile details.

Since that occurrence, I have not received any further private messages, leaving me uncertain whether this represents a systemic issue or merely an isolated incident.

I am interested to know if anyone else has encountered this particular glitch, and whether the technical support team for this site might be able to investigate the root cause.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Honestly, you sound unhinged. It seems you've spiraled into some sort of identity crisis. You finally realized that people like yourself are actually the greatest threat to America, so now you're just lashing out with insults. 😢

kokica1 said:Krcko, listen, I have never identified as a leftist, and if some of my views happen to clash with the right wing, that isn't a political flip-flop—it's simply the freedom to hold my own convictions.🙂

It is much like how I openly support Ante Gotovina and all our generals; they were entitled to defend themselves against that Mexican-American livestock😉 that targeted an innocent people.🙄

Now, Busic is a different matter entirely, and my stance remains unchanged.👍 Do you recall that interview with Mrs. Busic and the absolute uproar that erupted on this forum following the questions I posed to her?
If your memory serves, you surely remember her response to me, which left the entire forum in a state of shock:😁 the woman bluntly stated that they were just young and reckless, and that with the perspective they have today, they would never do such a thing again.👍

Fine, but you conveniently fail to mention your advocacy for stripping the diaspora of their voting rights, a position you held long before these recent debates began.

The issue lies elsewhere; many simply fail to perceive it that way.

Good grief, woman, do you have any sense of restraint? Do you even possess a shred of dignity?

Little Rock said:🙂 I recall your moment of clarity as if it happened just yesterday. 👍 It cost you a solid decade of your life, but better late than never, I suppose. 😁

The organizations they kept hidden from you have finally revealed themselves, yet those you’ve explicitly named were the very ones pulling the strings behind those institutions, so do not hold your breath waiting for them to join your cause.
🙄 😁

Little Rock, I distinctly remember a time when you were quite the leftist yourself. Granted, you were moderate, but still... you waged a fierce crusade against German-Americans and folks from places like Savannah; you campaigned for labor rights, demanded the revocation of diaspora voting privileges, and railed against that individual who hijacked that plane "for the sake of the country" along with his wife... there is much more, but I will spare us the list.

Eventually, someone will have to explain to me what makes such a complete about-face so appealing. Clearly, I am failing to grasp the logic. 😢

I understand; facing reality is never easy.

The most painful part is when someone who stood shoulder to shoulder with you just yesterday, fighting the same hated enemy, suddenly opens their eyes, turns their back, and walks away.

But you have to understand me, my former friend.
It happened between your great leader and his nemesis Stalin, and now it is happening between us.
There comes a moment when one must say a historic NO.

No, I will no longer scramble through hills and mountains, searching tunnels for five-pointed stars, sleeping in the mud, enduring brainwashing in the cold and collective party criticism, or inventing morning self-criticisms based on revolutionary records.

A time comes when you finally see clearly and recognize the comrade's lies and deceptions.
And then, you say NO.

I want to lease a Ford, take out a mortgage for a house, own a deluxe refrigerator, eat imported citrus, drink French champagne, listen to Western music, read banned books, visit Norwalk, wear Chanel perfume, dye my hair blue, wear high heels, and finally escape the dark stench of Phoenix and Brankec Krckati, who are always breathing down my neck and refusing to let me live. 😢

I know what you're thinking—that it's fun to spend a lifetime walking around with three fingers raised on your hands and feet, dancing traditional folk dances, and chanting slogans about old leaders and dictators.

But Thompson is my idol now. Here in Norwalk, I am content, surrounded by true patriots.
I am waiting for the day when you, Brankec, and Phoenix will join me. When you will repent and return to the old faith of our people.
Bring your hats; we will replace those stars on our caps with a single letter from the beginning of the alphabet.

I believe this is your most sincere post yet, both toward yourself and toward us, regardless of how much you tried to mask it with irony.

Here in Norwalk, I am content, surrounded by true patriots.

The sun of a foreign sky won't warm you like this one does... and so on. You know I won't descend into cheap sentimentality.

😢

Right-wingers, it is high time you admit exactly where you have locked up Hannah Edwards and who this pathetic clone is that you’ve installed to write in her place.

Speak up now, or there will be hell to pay! 😠 🙂
Would you help a Mexican? in Close to Politics ·
I wouldn't go out of my way to help a Mexican, an American, or a Turk... I would simply help a human being.
Though, honestly, I might even help someone who isn't even human. Take Michael Sullivan3, for instance. 🙄

Just so everyone is aware, Brankica and Anthony Turner71 each have about ten accounts, though they're nothing more than voting clones.

I personally maintain three different handles on this forum, not ten. Furthermore, I’ve only cast votes using two of them, simply because registering a third felt like too much effort.
Do not attempt to project your own poll manipulation tactics onto others. 🙂

Based on how the poll results have shifted over time, it is patently obvious that Asterix voted for Ronald Reagan.
And because the outcome doesn't align with his personal preferences, he’s losing his mind.
Bravo, truly.

Look, let’s be clear—this isn't some deep mystery. Asterix explicitly declared his support for Ronald Reagan and stated quite plainly that he views Joseph Stalin as a criminal. That, in isolation, isn't a tragedy; he is merely one of many who share that perspective. However, the real tragedy occurs when such biases begin to dictate moderator decisions, ultimately compromising the editorial integrity of this forum until any semblance of objectivity is lost. It is quite pathetic.

As if anyone gives a damn about a pile of American nostalgics and communist morons—which is exactly what you are...

Idiot.

😁

A "pile of American nostalgic communist morons" actually accounts for roughly 80% of the citizens in America, given that nearly every poll conducted to date shows them favoring Joseph Stalin over Ronald Reagan by that exact margin. 👋

Che Guevara said:This poll is utterly pointless... it is completely absurd to attempt any comparison between Joseph Stalin and a loose cannon like Ronald Reagan.👎 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

That is true, yet on numerous occasions, an "argument" has been presented here claiming that Joseph Stalin was merely a dictator who seized power without an election, whereas Ronald Reagan was democratically elected several times.

Well, I simply find myself wondering which of them we would actually choose today, now that we have experienced the rule of both. Nothing more.
