Look at this guy! He is practically the devil himself!

Thank God! 🙂

In that case, you aren't even related to the Eliots. They don't have any connection to Boise, especially since if my memory serves me right, T.S. Eliot's mother was an Imotski woman as well.🙂

cosmicjackal33 said:No. My point was that most of today's Istrian-regional population actually traces its roots back to Herzegovina and Canada after the plague. Some even come from Mexico.
So everyone carries a lineage that stretches far back to the south.
Of course... they evolved right here.

That is absolutely correct. I actually found myself explaining this exact point a few years ago to a young woman here in New York who moved here from Pittsburgh. Her last name is Ravlic. The Ravlic family are Imotski natives—and before that, they were Herzegovinian.

😁 😁

cosmicjackal33 said:I believe my great-grandfather or perhaps his father was actually from Vicksburg rather than Imogene. I can't quite recall which one of them eventually made the move down to Miami. To be honest, I've completely distanced myself from those roots... including all that family history and the surname itself. 😬

Well, it turns out there is a connection. T.S. Eliot actually happened to be born in Vicksburg, as his father spent some time working there as a teacher—much like how a teacher once taught at the small local school in my own hometown. The Eliot family is originally from Krivodol (Imogene), as is the case with all of them.

If our Roose Bolton didn't carry the surname Skocibusic, I would be absolutely incensed. 😂

It seems to me that my grandfather's mother was related to Eliot's ancestors... perhaps a sister or a niece to one of them. But that was a lifetime ago, man.

And that is what you choose to tell us now. 😁 After spending an entire lifetime on this forum disavowing your own roots. So, you are partially Imogenean after all. Welcome to my universe. 👍 😁 😁

Are you being serious about your grandfather being related to T.S. Eliot, or is that just a joke?

Krivodol near Imogene

😬

Please, let us not argue. If that were true, you and I would be cousins.🙂 😁 😁

Well, look at that! 😁

And before that? 🙂 I am certain highlander blood runs through your veins. Absolutely. 👍

The organizers have announced a massive tour across North America—something truly unprecedented! 😂 Her manager, Tom Petrovic, told The Los Angeles Times last week that this tour would be unlike anything seen before, which, frankly, sounds like typical industry nonsense. They claim this is completely separate from any local venues or international circuits. However, it's an obvious falsehood because we all know that only Thompson has the track record of selling out every major arena from Los Angeles to New York City. Even in Australia and Germany, he consistently packs stadiums with 15,000 people.

This is simply the consequence of being arrogant and dishonest. You try to sell fifty tickets and then face the fallout. 🙂
There is really nothing to worry about. Every venue in the States will be completely sold out. Emigration isn't some magic trick that follows a "divide and conquer" manual.

I honestly feel bad about it. 😁

Joe Biden

Or are you just being sarcastic?

If you truly don't see the reasons, then I suppose it isn't surprising that he has been elected President twice; that many people in America view him as "charismatic," and that he is seen as a man "of the people." He simply always finds himself at the top. That is all.

🙂

silentridge8 said:No one has ever actually explained why I seem so much like WeMu😕

You’ve essentially provided your own answer: 😕

It is because most people who read your more constructive and sophisticated posts tend to feel that exact way. WeMu (though I can't quite put my finger on why 😁) strikes me the same way immediately. I understand you quite well too, though it usually takes 😁 a few readings to truly grasp it. That is where your similarities lie; you both have a tendency to leave people feeling a bit puzzled.

If you combine WeM and silentridge8, you get Spot WeMita.

😁

Actually, this is closer to the truth:

WeM = silentridge8 = Spot WeMita.
