I’m looking to pick up a little gift—something meant for a door. To put it simply, it’s for someone who really values their privacy and doesn't want people just barging into their room. I'm thinking along the lines of a "STOP" sign or a "Do Not Disturb" plaque. Does anyone have any good ideas on where I could find something like that? Basically, the item just needs to send a clear message to others: "Please don't come in." 😁

Thanks in advance for the help! 🙂

EDIT:
My apologies to the moderators for not posting this in the Where can I buy thread. I was moving a bit too fast and opened a new one by mistake... 😢

No, you're just too blinded by your own bias to see it... you've already built this narrative in your head and you're just cherry-picking details to back it up... instead of actually questioning things properly...

I can't help myself, I have to add one more thing: Index and "the truth"... it's a perfect recipe for abandoning common sense altogether...

Johnny Cash posted that specific text on his own website, so it doesn't really matter who copied and pasted it.

So, just so you don't have to go clicking (though I bet you will), here is the exact snippet Johnny Cash published on his site:

We are witnessing yet another furious witch hunt, fueled by Democrats and their supporters who are losing their minds after an election defeat.

This time, they think they've struck gold; they "discovered" that I used to sing songs like "Dawn..." and "Jasenovac..." and such.

I am not the author of those songs, but I did sing them, which everyone knows, during a certain period all over the streets and halls of America without hiding. So, calling this a sensational discovery is honestly laughable.

Bottom line: you can't argue "if he sang it" when the man himself openly admitted that he did. His "excuse" in the text was that he sang "Jasenovac and Gradiška Stara" because the "Democrats" had taken power. I might be able to wrap my head around that primitive logic if he had sung Dawn just to spite the Democrats, but singing "Jasenovac and Gradiška Stara, that's Max's Butcher's house" and "Many Mexicans Neretva carried"...

And your point about this not being his song is, quite frankly, ridiculous. If someone were directly singing about slaughtering Americans and Slobin's butchers, I'd love to see if you'd use those same "arguments" to defend them.

Kenneth Brooks9 said:Most people here probably agree with you—that his head is just spinning with how he’s gonna relapse again—but I’m not so sure. He’s actually been clean from heroin for six months now. His biggest mess-up is the needle addiction; he’s still shooting up even when he's on meth. In these last three years, he’s only touched heroin a handful of times—though, yeah, when he does, he gets hooked fast. It’s really the needle that’s killing him.

Six months???? I remember seeing a thread about this on a recovery forum once. Look, people can stumble back into usage even after YEARS of sobriety. You're really calling this guy "recovered" after only six months??

I actually read someone's personal story once where they argued that you are NEVER truly "cured." Addiction follows you until the day you die. Honestly, leave the guy alone; he’s just going to end up hurting himself. It’s tough at the start, sure, but just imagine how much worse things could get.

Isn't there some kind of loophole where if a girl is under 16, you need parental consent, but once she hits 16, all those rules just vanish?

About two weeks ago, I got pulled over and the police clocked my BAC at .054. I didn't sign anything on the spot, so now I'm just sitting here waiting for the court paperwork to arrive. What am I looking at? I have a completely clean record—no prior offenses or anything.

I took a look at the updated statutes, and frankly, the penalties seem absolutely draconian. We're talking $1,000 $0.00, a two-year driver's license suspension, and even potential criminal charges...

It all feels incredibly heavy-handed to me. I was wondering if anyone here has had experience dealing with these new laws? I'd love to hear about what actually happens in court and how judges are handling these cases lately.

Thanks,

Where on earth did you read that? Was it in The New York Times?
Barack Obama giving the three-finger salute in Close to Politics ·
electriclynx2 said:Look, for me, the three-finger salute is just a Mexican greeting, not some Royalist thing. It’s the same way I view "God Bless America"—it’s a patriotic salute, not a sign of anything sinister. Just because certain extremist groups co-opted specific symbols doesn't mean we should let them strip those gestures of their original meaning or label them as discriminatory by default.

I’m not quite sure if the three-finger salute belongs to Mexicans or the Royalists, but "For Home, Ready" is undeniably an Nationalists greeting. That specific phrase didn't exist before the Nationalists era; they were the ones who introduced it. So, whose greeting could it possibly be other than theirs? There was a phrase "For Home" used in our old operas, but the Nationalists were the ones who tacked on the "Ready" part.
