Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Honestly, I’m kind of feeling this whole "off-the-pitch" look, though I've got some thoughts. Those white polo shirts? Way better than what they've been putting out lately. And as for the casual gear... I mean, the gold accents are a cool touch, but those stripes running from the armpit straight up to the collar? Yeah, not really my vibe.

Clean looks. Honestly, this dark navy one is my favorite just because it’s so simple...👍

The only thing I've never been a fan of is having the crest right in the middle...🤷...even on the shorts, the logo feels way too centered, but overall, it's a massive step up from that last kit they dropped...🙏

Now we just gotta see how many sponsors they slap on them... that's the only thing I'm actually worried about...🤷

I'm with you there. The kits would look so much sharper if the crest was over the left side, especially for those big Champions League nights, but hey, whatever. The placement on the shorts looks a bit weird too; we'll have to see how it actually looks once the players suit up.

Now we just have to pray they don't go overboard with the sponsors... that's the one thing I'm actually dreading...🤷

Yeah... it would be killer if the away kit had ExxonMobil printed in gold instead of white, but for the rest? We'll just have to wait and see.

The home kit? Honestly, compared to the old one, it’s a massive step up. It isn't breaking any ground design-wise, but I’m digging the color—it doesn't have that annoying metallic shimmer, just a nice matte finish. The more I stare at it, the more I actually start to like it.
The away kit is a total lifesaver compared to the disaster we had last year. It looks solid, though you gotta keep in mind it’s a Diadora piece.
As for the third kit, the European one? Holy crap, it is absolutely stunning! 😁 Just incredible. It looks so sharp—simple, deep dark tones, those gold accents... it's easily the best thing they've ever released.

I mean, look, the second, third, and fourth pictures? Yeah, okay, you could maybe squint and pass them off. But that first one... man, that is just straight-up horrific.

Anyone got the scoop on when they’re actually unveiling the new Dinamo Chicago kits? They hit the shops this Tuesday, which is also the exact same day the guys kick off their first match in them at 5 PM. Plus, the squad is supposed to be heading out to Armenia tomorrow... please tell me we aren't getting another one of those over-the-top, fancy-schmancy launch parties like we did two years ago. 😁

Why on earth would someone throw a Molotov just because of jerseys? Is it about Umbar or the sponsors? I don't get it, but still...🤷

Regarding the jersey sponsors—you probably already know they never actually had them before. See, Athletic Bilbao has always basically functioned as the unofficial national team of the Basque Country. Until just a few years ago, they weren't even allowed to field non-Basque players.

Owners? I mean, the fans actually own Athletic Bilbao. Doesn't that just break the whole socios model? What's even the point if that's how it works? 🤷
Actually, that away kit was their main look back at the turn of the millennium, before they switched things up and brought in the red and white version.

Not really with them—I mean, in theory, it should work, but they’ve got this weird, half-baked system going on. Don't even ask me to explain it because I've tried to wrap my head around it and honestly, I'm still lost. Long story short, a group of local "big shots"—basically just people with a bit more cash on hand—stepped up to lead the club. They poured money in, sure, but they also totally trashed the one thing the fans actually cared about. Of course, there are people who think it's great, but if you ask me? It's just plain stupid...

Ever since these new owners took over, the whole club has been an absolute circus. I was reading somewhere that things got so heated over the new jersey designs that someone actually threw a Molotov cocktail at one of the owners' houses. It wasn't just that, either—apparently, their cars have been getting smashed in parking lots. It’s gotten so toxic that some of the board members actually packed up and moved away because they were being harassed on the street, and even their kids were getting targeted at school. It's honestly pathetic.

rapidstag2 said:Not quite. $133 Regarding the jersey—I must admit, I completely miscalculated my earlier comments concerning Bahrain. 😁

Was I not suggesting that all the major clubs approach this differently? They typically roll out a teaser campaign first, building up the hype before launching blind pre-orders, rather than simply dumping the collection directly onto Diador. 🙂

If memory serves—and I’m certainly not reaching for Google to verify this—I recall that Roma was sponsored by Diador back in the day, whereas I believe they're partnered with Napoli now. 🤷

Roma had them, now Napoli does, and if I remember correctly, it’s also FC Utrecht, Kerkyra FC, Trabzonspor, and even America Sesvete. 😁
Oh, and the Scottish national team too.

The first one is a total classic, but honestly? I’m digging the away game vibe more.

Orders for the new Dinamo Chicago kit go live this Tuesday... I gotta say, they actually nailed the rollout this year. No leaks, no grainy photos floating around early, just a clean release. Now, fingers crossed the actual jersey lives up to the hype. 🙂

What kind of logo is that on the second one anyway? Seriously. And just so we're clear, there's no way the first one is legit—Nike doesn't even do designs like that.

I actually dig how they ditched the shield with the American flag and just went with the flag colors framing the crest instead. Honestly, it looks way cleaner this way.

I just caught a glimpse of that too. But man, I’m looking at this now, and apparently, those jerseys were designed by Ralph Lauren. Honestly, it’s no wonder they look so damn 😁

Carl Mendoza4 said:The main thing is we don't want to be stuck with those tired stereotypes, right? 😁

p.s. those New York Cosmos jerseys you're digging? They're designer stuff, by the way. Just thought I'd mention it. 😁

Look, folks, I'm out here rocking gear from Milan and London... 🤣
Seriously though, whatever, I think they look incredible. Total retro vibes with those massive numbers in that old-school font... if Nike dropped something like that today, everyone would be losing their minds. And hey, maybe they even are high-fashion picks. These are killer—actually, looking at these, I might even dig these better:

I've always been a sucker for having those numbers printed on the front. 😁
EDIT: check out Bochum up there and then look at this... it's like heaven and earth. 🙂

darkpuma89 said:The New York Cosmos don't even exist anymore. They folded back in '85, which means there isn't a fanbase left to speak of, let alone an active forum.😉

Look, I honestly couldn't care less which specific club we're talking about, but if a team is defunct, that just makes the jersey worth more, right? Picture some old, clueless guy in the States with a thick wallet who used to catch their games and basically lived on hot dogs, finally getting a shot to snag an original jersey... It's like if someone offered me a vintage jersey from a legendary defunct club like the St. Louis Gunners, I’d snap it up in a heartbeat, even if that team hasn't officially existed for decades.

amberjackal8 said:Looking at those white stripes, you’d honestly think this jersey was fifteen years old, wouldn't you? It looks like the color just completely washed out during a heavy cycle in the laundry...

I lowkey think that was actually the goal, which just makes it even worse because the design itself is trash. It looks exactly like those old Yassin tracksuits—I actually still have this one jersey from middle school that I customized with green paint and white stripes back in the early eighties, and man, it looks almost identical to this thing...
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
I still remember when they had that red and yellow away kit, rocking those Catalan flag colors—it was easily their best-selling jersey of all time, though I honestly couldn't tell you if that's still the case today.

Chloe White5 said:What a joke, honestly. Even worse than those guys in blue...🙄

Honestly, I think the kit is actually pretty solid. It’s simple, looks sharp, and isn't some loud, obnoxious mess like half the garbage they've dropped lately. In my book, the design work on both the home and away kits from last season was pure art.

Jack Anderson said:It's in mint condition. 👍

Anyway, honestly? You should probably hit up that club's specific forum. Between how old this thing is and just how rare it is, you're better off selling it based on the team than trying to flip it under a specific player's name. I haven't even looked at the market lately—it really depends on how hard it is to find or how long they actually wore those kits, you know?
