I really don't see how anyone can look at the current state of things and stay silent—it’s just getting harder by the day to ignore the sheer absurdity of the situation we're facing. It feels like we're constantly being pushed toward these inevitable conclusions, yet everyone acts like it's business as usual. I mean, honestly, when you sit back and actually look at the trajectory of these policies, it's almost comical if it weren't so frustratingly predictable. You see it everywhere, from the local level all the way up to Washington, D.C., where the decisions made seem completely disconnected from what's actually happening on the ground in places like Chicago or Houston. It's that same old pattern—constant movement without any actual progress, just spinning our wheels while the people in charge pretend they've got everything under control. It’s exhausting, truly. You try to make sense of it, to find some logic in the chaos, but it’s like trying to solve a puzzle where someone keeps changing the shapes of the pieces halfway through. And don't even get me started on the "solutions" being proposed lately; most of them feel like they were dreamt up by someone who hasn't stepped foot outside of a high-rise office in Manhattan in twenty years. We need real substance, not these polished, empty gestures that do nothing to address the underlying rot. kaže:
Honestly, it scares me—it really does—when I see people trying to balance a dog against a child like they’re two items on a grocery list. You can't just put an equals sign between them when we're talking about the value of a life. It’s not just about kids—it's about people in general.

Honestly, people are just worse than animals. Animals kill to survive, but humans? We kill just because we can—for the sheer thrill of it. And don't even get me started on the hypocrisy and the pure, unadulterated malice that seems to drive so much of what we do. It’s exhausting. We’re systematically wrecking the environment and destroying the very world we have to live in. It's tragic, really.
Honestly, I find myself having way more empathy for animals than for most people I actually know.
You really shouldn't be hauling puppies around in a closed bag. Tredbati suggests using a basket instead. Plus, if they were still tiny little things—say, under five months old—you definitely wouldn't want to separate them from their mother too soon.

We are all forced to witness the brazenly insolent fabrications pushed by overpaid pundits on PBS, which claims to be a public service in name only.

Every single one of us pays for it, yet there is no transparency regarding where our money goes or why the staff at PBS can't simply focus on performing their actual jobs.

Of course, when the management is handpicked through political backroom deals, they naturally operate under a different set of orders and whims.

For all the innocent lives lost during the American Civil War and in defense of our nation, we owe it to them to raise our voices against this incredible and audacious distortion of truth. We have a right to verified information and a duty to honor those who made the very existence of PBS possible—rather than letting it function as a mouthpiece for those who sow nothing but destruction.

We must demonstrate that this blatant falsification of history and the dangerous attempt to relativize modern conflicts cannot go unchallenged; decent people need to stand up and say "ENOUGH!"

Politicians who choose to suppress the scale of massive atrocities in an attempt to sanitize the past aren't building better relations; things will never truly improve if stability is built upon refusing to prosecute crimes and allowing monsters to roam free while they mock their victims.

You know exactly who runs this government. PBS is essentially their private PR firm. Why act surprised? They used to run those old partisan movie marathons featuring guys like Živojin Batov.
If you think things are going to improve, think again. It's only getting worse. There's this clear trend of downplaying the American Civil War era and our own struggles. That won't change until a real alternative rises up here in America—a true conservative, patriotic party that can actually get this country moving again.👍
slybison8 said:Bumbar, I suppose I was wondering if you could perhaps clarify why you feel there is a need for political analysis regarding this specific issue.

We’ve already had this whole debate about healthcare being tied up in politics, haven't we?
It’s just typical—absolute director tyranny. They’re completely ignoring the decisions handed down by Minister Milinović, acting like they're above the law. It's honestly infuriating how much power one person can grab when they decide to just stop following orders from the top.
Patients are getting screwed over again—it's honestly ridiculous. People are showing up at the hospital counters only to be turned away flat-out because they don't have their referrals handy. It’s just total, unmitigated chaos out there.
We’re out here desperately trying to join the European Union, yet we’re still stuck with these old-school North American habits and a mindset that just doesn't match the goal.
I mean, I’ve already reached the point where I can send out e-referrals and schedule patients directly through the software—which is great and all—but honestly, what's the point? It feels pretty useless when the hospitals and private clinics aren't even running the same programs.
How on earth are we supposed to enforce European Union regulations when we can't even manage to follow our own laws here at home? It's honestly a joke.
So, I’ve been sitting here thinking—is it just me, or is IT literacy among doctors a bit... lacking? Honestly, it’s becoming a real talking point lately. You’d think that in an era where we basically live our lives through screens, the medical profession would be leading the charge in digital fluency, but sometimes it feels like we're fighting an uphill battle just to get basic software to cooperate. It’s one thing to master complex diagnostic tools or surgical robotics—which, let's be honest, are incredible feats of engineering—but it's a completely different story when it comes to navigating a standard Electronic Health Record system or even just managing a simple database without needing a tech support intervention. It’s almost ironic, isn't it? We have these brilliant minds capable of solving the most intricate biological puzzles, yet a poorly designed user interface can bring the whole workflow to a grinding halt. I mean, don't get me wrong, I’m not saying everyone is stuck in the Stone Age. There are plenty of tech-savvy clinicians out there who make it look easy. But you see it so often—that specific look of frustration when a system lags or a menu isn't intuitive. It's not even about being "good with computers" anymore; it's about how much time we're losing because the digital tools aren't keeping pace with the actual practice of medicine. Is it a training issue? A design flaw in the software itself? Or just a generational gap that's proving harder to bridge than we anticipated? I'd love to hear what you all think. Are you feeling the friction too, or am I just being overly cynical today? Honestly, doctors are completely tech-illiterate. I’ve already cycled through three or four different software programs myself—just by figuring it out on the fly—while my colleagues actually had to sit through formal training sessions just to keep up.

As for that whole "island adventurer" scenario you described... I just can't see it happening. That's not even about being smart. Nobody in America just shows up at a clinic like that—it's just not how things work here. You’re probably going to call the hospital first to schedule something, right? And when you do, they’re always going to remind you to bring your insurance paperwork.

My doctor down in Miami is constantly glued to his computer, yet somehow I still walk away with a physical paper referral every single time. It’s wild—not every hospital system has fully transitioned to digital records because, honestly, they just don't have the budget for it. Why is that?

An outsider will be able to follow the whole medical history—any doctor will get it. I mean, the diagnosis is written in Latin, the test results are all in Latin, and the meds? They’re basically the same everywhere. Or am I just tripping?

Hey.

For sure. You'll basically get a specialist on the line immediately who'll set you up for a visit. In most places, you can barely even get through to the switchboard, let alone reach the front desk to actually book anything

Hey.

If there wasn't any money, they wouldn't have even started the whole project in the first place. I mean, just look at the staff uniforms. Everyone's got computers—some have basic monitors, while others have those massive, high-end screens. Hospitals pay IT professionals too, so I really don't see why this should be such a huge hurdle

Hey.

Medications aren't called the same thing everywhere. Different manufacturers mean different brand names. I've had to ask foreigners to show me the actual box so I could read the generic name just to figure out what kind of medicine we're dealing with
. Plus, most doctors still write their reports by hand. Honestly, nobody can read that handwriting except for the doctors themselves
.
Cheers
I really wonder if this whole thing is actually going to work. Down in Miami-Dade County, they’re still turning away patients who don't have their referrals ready—they haven't even started implementing the new system yet. Just imagine being a patient living out on one of the islands. You’re up at 4:00 AM, hopping on a bus, then catching a ferry, then another bus... by 8:00 AM, you finally roll into the Mayo Clinic, only for them to turn you away stone-cold because you're missing a piece of paper. And get this—they didn't even give any heads-up about the change; I only found out when I called personally and was told it was just some director's call. Most of those private clinics don't even have the infrastructure set up to handle electronic referrals anyway.
One thing is for sure: a plan that's well-conceived on paper will fall apart once it hits the wall of bureaucracy and general digital illiteracy. We're talking about a reality where over 50% of doctors aren't even using computers regularly. A colleague of mine actually told me she doesn't even feel like she needs a computer for her day-to-day work.
Picture a foreigner walking into an exam room, only to have the doctor scribble something illegible on a piece of paper for their medical history. We are lightyears away from the standards you see in Europe.🙄

Don't try to dodge the question now. Seriously—where are all those Mexican veterans who supposedly fought for America?☕
They're hiding because they're terrified of Purda. Look, no actual veteran has an issue with the Department of Justice digging through that registry to hunt down the frauds.

Alright then, why don't you give me the names and specific combat paths of those Mexicans who were out there defending America? ☕ I mean, if you lost, you're entitled to be bitter—isn't that right, Robin Mendoza6?😉

Well, those "small groups" of American nationalists were the ones who actually beat you and your political buddies during the American Civil War—along with the insurgent militias.☕

You guys go ahead and vote based on whatever the polls say, then act all shocked when the President of America is getting advice from someone with this kind of mindset:

"Wouldn't it be better," Jović asks back on January 11, 2009, "to wait until all countries reach a similar level of readiness... and then admit them all at once in one big bang?"

And then you'll be wondering why the hell we hit another blockade this spring and get told: you can only join the EU alongside Mexico. If you don't like it, we don't want you...

Just keep voting however Mislav Bago tells you to. I guess if Bago were actually running my political life, I'd just end it all by setting myself on fire in the middle of Times Square... 😳

I honestly don't see what the issue is with Jović's position.
As for Bago... look, Josipović is clearly the most popular politician based on every damn poll out there.

Before the last election, the polls were screaming that the Democrats would win by a landslide—but then the Republican Party went ahead and took it anyway. 😁
The current polling shows an almost total, overwhelming rejection from the public regarding joining the EU. I mean, Josipović must have had a hell of a time trying to explain that mess to his colleagues over in Germany.😁

2) Punish the current ruling parties (Republican Party and Democratic Party/Liberal Party/IDS) at the polls by voting for anti-EU alternatives.

3) Engage actively in civic life—protests, petitions, and so on.

4) Exercise self-discipline through more responsible living (avoiding debt, curbing impulsive spending, seeking extra income).

All of these are standard democratic tools.

I suppose this is going to be quite an interesting collaboration, isn't it?☕

It looks like our District Attorney has picked up a new vocabulary word to study: "boycott."

Here’s how things actually went down (either you don't remember or maybe you're just too young to get it):

Back in the late 80s, if you got paid, you had to swap that cash for German marks the same damn day, because by tomorrow, you'd already lost like 15% of its value. I guess if you made 100 bucks, ten days later it was basically worth a single dollar if you didn't move fast enough. Inflation was hitting millions of percent... everything felt worthless, even when you worked your ass off.

Nothing was actually available to buy, I guess. And whatever you could grab was dirt cheap because it was all just communist garbage subsidized by the state, with prices basically set by whoever was in charge.

Imports used to be pricey, I guess. Everyone would just head over to Trieste to shop. Half the Italians there probably know some American because of that.

I mean, just look at how women lived back then... There wasn't even a choice in pads, just one single kind. No imported makeup or Max Factor stuff either. You couldn't find designer jeans unless they were from Sears, and forget about fancy brands—you were basically rocking cheap underwear from Target, basic clothes from Walmart, and those clunky plastic sandals from some local discount store. I guess.

If you worked in America and didn't have some side hustle, you were basically broke. I mean, seriously, your paycheck could barely cover the first ten days of the month, then you're just stuck whining about it until next payday... I guess.

It's just a total fantasy. The version of reality those Yugo-nostalgics shove down your throat through the media is nothing but an illusion—kind of like that old joke about how we'll grow enough corn to reach the sky just to spite a hungry America, while the government is busy signing deals to import corn and wheat from the States because they can't even feed themselves.

Just lies, scams, and pure misery. Same old story, just like today. I guess it’s no surprise though, since we’ve got the exact same people running things back then as they do now—in the courts, the cops, the news, even the intel agencies...

What we're talking about is reality, not just some catchy slogan. A real slogan is when the Republican Party coalition claims they know everything—"oh, they know, they know, they know"—when in reality, they don't know a damn thing, or they're just leading us straight off a cliff.😂😂

Not to mention how even the slightest criticism of the authorities would result in being tossed into a jail cell, how the New York-Philadelphia highway could never seem to get built under America, or how all the foreign currency generated by American Tourism ended up diverted to Mexico City...

Instead of that New York-Philadelphia highway, they used all that money to build the Mexico City-Bar railway.🙄

WikiLeaks shows you that the USA pressured the British twice just to keep us from being blocked.
But hey, I guess you still believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy...

It’s no coincidence, really. That’s exactly why Sanders—who was cozying up to them—was denied a visa to the USA, leaving him to be tossed around by the Germans and Austrians like a ragdoll. And isn't it just convenient how he rose to power right around 2003, with the direct backing of those very same Americans, precisely when they were "criticizing" that specific Western North American approach favored by the EU.

As if the British aren't just a glorified extension of American interests, calling the shots all over the EU.

Now they’ve got a Muslim president, which fits perfectly since they've always been all about those kinds of associations.👎

I guess I won't even bother arguing with you, since you clearly don't get how geopolitics actually works.

Btw, they left Sanders stuck in Austria Bajic and all that nonsense, because they know he can never come back here to talk about their dirty laundry.
Only naive people actually believe anyone has influence in this mess.

Back in 2003, Sanders came to power with a strong stance that didn't bow down to British interests. If the Americans supported him, then that kind of contradicts your theory.
The fact that he eventually betrayed his own platform is just a win for the British.

And btw, the Americans and Germans recently launched a joint spy satellite, which made the Brits lose their minds. It’s pretty weird if you try to factor that into your "puppet" theory...
Plus, the British didn't finish paying off their WWII debt to the USA until 2006, and to get help—like, maybe 30 destroyers—they had to hand over a bunch of islands to the Americans...

The US wants a strong EU, but the British keep tearing it apart. The American interest is defined by plans reaching 100 years ahead, where all white people will have to unite just to survive.

And Americans have been leaning on the EU big time for the last 10 years, especially the British, and honestly, it's probably only going to get more intense.

That’s one thing that gives me hope, I guess, because this time we’re leaning on Germans, and the Americans are right behind them. Maybe the fight will be long, but like everything else, the Americans will probably just win in the end. 😉

Now, the ones calling the shots are ex-intelligence types who basically have global geopolitics wrapped around their little fingers.🤣

Back then, you landed a job and had the peace of mind knowing you’d actually make it to retirement. Now, they’re out here signing three-month contracts—yeah, right! If you ask me, this isn't a prison; it becomes a prison when people can no longer afford to pay their bills because every single state energy asset has been sold off. ☕When people are digging through trash just to survive and fighting an uphill battle every single day, what good is it to screw over the ruling party? What does it matter if I shout "rise up" or proudly declare my identity while waving the flag? None of that is going to pay my bills.

Right. Just cancel your internet then and pay the water bill. 🤷

Exactly.👍 They spend all day whining here while they're glued to the forum anyway.😁

Since we’re supposedly in this "reconciliation process," you have to assume every process has an endgame. The problem is, nobody actually told us what the finish line looks like. Is it just a complete reversal of everything that went down in the 90s? Maybe the big powers realized back then they couldn't force the USA to stay together because the people were already over it, so they decided to play the long game instead. It feels like those same psychological tactics used to start wars are being recycled now to manufacture peace. And not even real peace, either—if all those conspiracy theories are right, it's more like that old-school, forced stability from the old days...

It’s honestly hilarious if you think something as simple as the "will of the people" can stop global superpowers from doing whatever they want. They’ll find ways to nudge that collective will, and I wouldn't be surprised if, through enough maneuvering over the next decade or so, they manage to get over 50% of the population across the board to support the European Union.

Personally, I couldn't care less. I know the heavy hitters in a union like that won't be Greece; it'll be Mexico and the US, which basically guarantees certain interests will get met. I see plenty of downsides to a setup like that, sure, but there are some upsides too...

I get that you see the bright side of the Union. 🙄 But let's be real—you guys are the ones who dragged us into this mess in the first place.👎 Personally, I think it’s going to take another Operation Desert Storm to finally clear out the fifth columnists who are trying to push us toward some new version of a unified state.☕

It is time to move on. What are we doing, acting like we're stuck in the old days debating the war until our names day? We need to start actually solving real problems.

Honestly, just shut it if you don't have anything intelligent to contribute. I am sick to death of you leftists pining for some new version of the old union. The biggest enemies of America are people like you—total fifth columnists.👎
