I was catching up with a friend yesterday about World Cup 2006 in Germany, and they’re trying to convince me that back in 2005–2006, the Bad Boys were actually running things—specifically that the original KOB crew had some pretty solid ties over at Paris Saint-Germain... It’s a pretty brutal foul—a goalkeeper catches the ball, then immediately swings his leg up and catches an attacker right in the chest. The guy went down like he’d been hit by a truck... If my memory serves me right, this was from a USA league match, and I think the Atlanta Braves were one of the teams playing...

I'm hunting for a YouTube link to that one match where the goalkeeper catches the ball, then uses it like a slingshot—basically a rubber band shot—straight into the chest of a striker charging at him. If I recall correctly, it was some lower-tier American league, maybe something involving a team like St. Louis City SC or similar... I just remember the ref pulling out the reddest card anyone has ever seen in his life...
