It seems like you never pick up a newspaper. If you did, you’d see the endless stream of tragic stories from all walks of life—people from every corner of the country who are constantly featured in the news because they're out there begging for help and donations.🤷
mistytinker26 said:It’s not about what I care about. Johnny Cash started this conversation because his situation is genuinely tough and nobody seems to get it. I’m sure he’ll find some decent people willing to help him out—maybe by trading his houses and properties for better medical care—since this country he fought so hard for clearly won't step up.

And by the way, since you brought up Madonna, I don't see any difference between them that would justify the government treating them differently.

My only goal here was to wrap up the discussion on the tax issues surrounding Johnny Cash and those allegations of tax evasion you brought up. It looks like we've reached a dead end.☕
mistytinker26 said:That was your take, not mine. Johnny Cash is out here crying because he can't afford a spa retreat in Austria, claiming his entire paycheck is being swallowed by loan payments. Loan payments for what? A new Mercedes, or some other luxury every former Congressman and pop star seems to think is a basic necessity?

Don't try to shift the goalposts now—you were the one claiming evidence is easy to come by, which pretty clearly implies it hasn't been found yet. Not for Johnny Cash, and certainly not for anyone else in the music industry. As it stands, you're just slandering Johnny Cash without any actual proof. If you had pointed to someone like a specific tax evader, you might actually sound like a serious interlocutor, but right now, you're just talking nonsense at a dive bar. 👎
Zachary Collins2 said:My friends... I can't help but wonder, what does it actually look like when someone finally falls ill, whether they're enjoying their retirement or still out there working hard every day...?

What kind of answer are you looking for? Is this some sort of trivia question? Like, "Identify the mysterious patient A, B, or C"? 😕
mistytinker26 said:Oh sure, I actually live on Mars, so clearly I have no idea how things used to work. Apparently, Jack was taking bribes under the table while Kiki wasn't...

To wrap this up: we’re just assuming every single singer is a tax evader, led by Kiki, and we don't even need proof because we aren't living on Mars—we're on Earth. Is that the logic here?🤷
mistytinker26 said:So, are you actually claiming he paid taxes on every single performance, or are you just defending him for the sake of it?

No, I’m simply asking how you know about Kiki’s tax issues and what exactly is your source.☕
mistytinker26 said:Maybe he's just dodging taxes for the homeland he supposedly loves so much? Or maybe those slush funds finally ran dry?

On top of all that, we should strip him of his congressional pension (assuming he even has one). By making this pathetic public spectacle, he’s insulting the entire office of a Member of Congress, not to mention dragging the whole institution through the mud.

Are you actually working for the IRS, or just throwing accusations around for the sake of it?🤷
Jamie Newman5 said:Just try finding B, C, and E on that list if you think you're so smart.....☕

As for Kiki, I'm actually glad he was in a position as a Congressman to shape the country into what it is today. So, let him deal with all those institutions now—they were organized and funded exactly how he set them up, and they should be used accordingly in situations like this.

You made the mess, you clean it up. That's how it works.
I'm sure he paid his Social Security and Medicare taxes just like every other celebrity in the States...

😵 You're right. I can only justify my stance by admitting he threw me off with all that subsequent rambling. So, let's cut through the noise: Kiki is essentially nothing more than a small-town drunk and a degenerate gambler. Can we finally agree on that?
Quinn:
Progressive rock. It’s a genre that lives in the tension between pure technical brilliance and sheer, unadulterated pretension. On one hand, you have musicians pushing the boundaries of what an instrument can actually do—complex time signatures, sweeping conceptual narratives, and arrangements that feel more like orchestral movements than simple songs. It's impressive, sure. But there's a flip side. It often veers into self-indulgence, where the song structure collapses under the weight of its own ambition. You end up with twenty-minute tracks that feel less like a musical journey and more like an endurance test. It’s the sonic equivalent of a high-concept architecture project that looks stunning in a blueprint but becomes a nightmare to actually live in. Some call it art; others just call it noise disguised as complexity. kaže:
B, C, and E are a given. Honestly, you can probably include everyone else who held office and spent the last two decades looting the very homeland they claim to love so much.😁
So, Kiki is a degenerate alcoholic, a gambler, and a criminal. You’re telling me he isn't a thief? Then what exactly was his specialty? Was he running pimping operations, kidnappings, extortion, racketeering, contract killings, or narcotics trafficking? 🤷
Betty Grant2 said:There’s nothing I love more than watching those low-life thieves, drunks, gamblers, and career criminals start whining at the end of a ballad—you know, the usual suspects like the old political crooks and corrupt officials... and soon enough, we'll be seeing the next batch of them crying all over again.🤣🤣🤣

And KISS is cut from that same crooked cloth:

a) thief
b) drunkard
c) gambler
d) criminal
e) something along those lines

🤷
mistyjackal14 said:Regarding Jaca, I really thought that even the harshest critics of the Republican Party (or any administration, really) might draw some parallels, such as:

1. People tend to hold them responsible for things they didn't even do.
2. They focus entirely on optics rather than actual substance.
3. They gatekeep information from the public.
4. They are totally out of sync with global trends.
5. They get ousted, only to come crawling back later.😁

I wouldn't count on it. If they did, they'd probably start acting like Nobel Prize contenders.😍
The Non-Aligned Movement in World ·
Larry Walker24 said:Then why did the NATO Pact and the Warsaw Pact even exist?!

We've already got the UN.

The NATO alliance is still standing, whereas the Warsaw Pact is long gone.☕

Besides, those are military alliances, not political organizations like the UN or the Non-Aligned Movement.
The Non-Aligned Movement in World ·
I honestly don't see the point of the Non-Aligned Movement. We already have the United Nations, which is supposed to be the arena where global issues are tackled and cooperation between nations is hammered out. 😕

Maybe they just think their voices carry more weight this way? 🤷

If you ask me, the whole thing is just a collection of Tower of Babel scenarios—a chaotic mess of conflicting interests where finding any actual common goal is impossible. To my mind, the Non-Aligned Movement is nothing more than pure marketing with zero substance. It’s a playground where politicians reap the rewards and chase unearned glory, much like those self-proclaimed marketing gurus we see everywhere. ☕
This thread is nothing more than hate speech directed at two specific political parties in 👎 I expect the moderators will recognize that as well
Eric Collins5 said:Jack mentioned earlier that he’d been reading up on those legendary American military commanders—James Mattis, George W. Bush, and Rod Blagojevich.

😳

Of course, which explains why he won't stop bringing up Karr as if he were some kind of national hero.🙄
bluecobra27 said:Anto Đapić was the one who actually got him hooked on bodybuilding.

Eric Collins5 said:I can't help but feel like these disturbed, right-wing sociopaths are feeling right at home here in America. I honestly find myself wondering—why exactly is that the case?

😳

Did he ever actually cross paths with you while he was here? 🤷
Gerald Wright10 said:The right wing has always been nothing more than a collection of lapdogs for foreign capital. It’s honestly sickening to watch them spit on everything homegrown with such glee while they worship at the altar of everything imported—whether it's German engineering, Japanese tech, or just swallowing American culture whole. I’m genuinely worried about where we're headed. At this rate, it feels like we've already sold ourselves into modern-day slavery...

🙄 Look, it isn't 1945 anymore, so there's no need to spout such nonsense.

You've provided your own proof here:

Gerald Wright10 said:'If you want to know who is responsible for a war, just look at who profited most from it.'

Says a Briton, and he's making a damn good point!

Major American holidays in Close to Politics ·
I propose that we

On May 14th, to honor the anniversary of Franjo Harmon’s birth,

we establish a National Day for America

and phase out these other dates tied to our statehood,

with the sole exception of August 5th—Independence Day.
It’s pretty clear math isn't your forte. If you can't even manage basic addition up to 100, how is anyone supposed to take you seriously? 🤷
