- The Americans are putting together a fresh $750 million aid package, though we're still waiting to see the full breakdown, but word is it could include Black Hawks, howitzers, drones, NBC protective gear...

- The UK is really stepping up too—on top of those 120 Oshkosh M-ATVs, they’re sending 40 CVR(T)s, 35 Spartan APCs, plus Samaritans and Samsons... not to mention training for the Ukrainians, and more... honestly, you've gotta give the Englishmen credit here, it's a solid effort.

- Meanwhile, the US says it’s perfectly fine if Slovakia sends over some MiGs to help out.

- General Atomics is reportedly ready to roll out Reapers and Predators, which apparently comes right after their meeting with the Ukrainian ambassador.

- As for France, their aid has hovered around the €120 million mark so far, covering stuff like Javelins, Milan, Mistral systems, and access to satellite imagery...

- There’s also talk that Norway might be looking into sending anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles... maybe NASAMS first, then NSM? Or even those portable anti-ship Hellfires they have lying around.

- Besides the T-72s, the Poles have already sent over BMP-1s.

- And the Germans, since they aren't allies of Moscow and have clearly made a massive pivot in their foreign policy, are also sending something their way.

It’s a total mystery, honestly. These tanks just vanished into thin air. I really hope we don't see the same thing happening to the American fighter jets next.

Huge difference.

Can someone explain why the Germans won't just ship the M2 Bradley IFV

Based on this, the Bundeswehr could hand over 30 units right now, and Raytheon would have new ones ready by late 2022.
But NO.
Wait until the end of the year just to sell new ones to Ukraine.

What's the logic with the Germans?

Honestly, I’ve got a feeling those shipments were already en route by the time the announcement even hit the news feeds.

Beyond just the push to join NATO, The New York Times thinks we might see it happen pretty soon, there’s also this massive wave of support for nuclear energy that’s been building up in Sweden over the last 15 to 20 years

Looks like those Polish T-72s are finally making their way over to Ukraine.

I'm thinking they sent something like a solid 100 of them,

Man, maybe the Slovaks will actually step up and send over some of their Mig's. If they pull that off, you have to wonder if the Poles might follow suit too, right?

Just so they can maintain that "neutrality" facade...

They act like absolute scumbags, but hey, I guess that’s nothing new when it comes to them.
The whole thing with these howitzers isn't even a done deal yet; it's really just a proposal from Ukraine to buy used gear at some totally insane prices. Given how Germany has shut down every single attempt to actually purchase—not donate!—any serious weaponry so far, we really ought to be skeptical about this one too. They already turned down the offer for Marder vehicles, and they blew off the request for Gepards, even though those Marder units are currently being replaced and the Gepards are just sitting there in storage.

The UK could potentially send over some lighter anti-ship stuff, maybe something like the Sea Spear... or even the Sea Skua, just stepping things up a notch...
Or honestly, they might actually roll out those Harpoons, especially since they’re looking to phase them out soon anyway. I just can't wrap my head around how the Ukrainians would actually launch them. If they could find a way to integrate them quickly with their aircraft, man, that would be an absolute game changer.

I’m honestly just sitting here praying that people working in the tech sector don't decide to pack up and leave Silicon Valley. I think someone else on this thread already pointed out how much the number of scientists has plummeted in Russia—it went from about a million back in 1990 all the way down to just 350k by 2019.
It's pretty clear that the petrostate has been bleeding out for a long time now and they just can't seem to keep pace with the rest of the developed world, especially since all those massive oil and gas revenues have basically acted as a smokescreen for how much they're actually struggling.

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a great day! 🙂
- It looks like following the Czech lead, the Poles are now sending over some T-72s too.
- The Czechs aren't stopping there either; they're also sending out BM-21s and Strela systems.
- Meanwhile, the Slovaks have already sent their S-300s.
- And as for the UK, on top of sending armored vehicles and even more NLAWs, it actually sounds like they might be prepping to send some AS-90s very soon.

A quick breakdown of the humanitarian crisis heading toward developing nations. It starts by looking at the massive hole left by grain shortages, then moves into how fertilizer prices have gone absolutely haywire, and wraps up with some thoughts on GMOs. The guy talking is David Friedberg, who used to be an executive over at Google and Monsanto

And if you look closely at those voting results, Mexico actually voted in favor of them.

Can you believe this? Canada just kicked out a whopping 33 "diplomats" from Russia—and that’s out of a total of only 41 people! Apparently, the Russian embassy over there was absolutely packed, carrying way more staff than even China or the USA.

I honestly feel like we’re going to see a massive surge in aid sooner rather than later, just like I mentioned back in that prediction thread of mine. If it isn't for any other reason, it'll be because the public pressure in the West is getting too loud to ignore. At the end of the day, Ukraine is going to get exactly what they need to kick the Russians back. Still, I'm struggling to find a truly logical reason why the support isn't even bigger right this second—and honestly, I highly doubt it's all just about avoiding provoking Russia.
But hey, fair enough, I can admit that theory feels a bit like a stretch.

I’ve got this nagging feeling that, for better or worse, a huge chunk of what we’re seeing is driven by US geopolitics. Honestly, I don't think a lightning-fast end to this war is actually in their best interest. It feels like Ukrainians are being handed just enough gear to keep the Russians pinned down in a defensive crouch, but maybe not quite enough to secure a total victory. Beyond just making sure Russia bleeds, you have to look at the bigger picture—like pulling Germany away from Russian influence and really tightening the bonds within NATO. A quick resolution to the conflict might actually jeopardize those long-term strategic goals.

It feels like everywhere you look across America, people and organizations are stepping up to ship gear and weapons over to Ukraine. You’ve got police departments sending out body armor, gun shops and manufacturers cranking out rifles and ammo, and even regular folks chipping in through massive crowdfunding campaigns. I actually saw that the owner of NASCAR sent over a huge shipment of ammunition! And honestly, that’s just the heavy stuff—I’ve scrolled past dozens of posts lately about donated drones, high-end optics, night vision, thermal imaging... goodness knows what else is being sent.
Public support is really starting to snowball. The more advanced and serious the weaponry gets, the more
