IRS and Tax Filing Issues in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Hannah Kern4 said:I was getting stuck on this too and couldn't figure out what was broken... Did exactly what you said and now it's working fine. Thanks...👍

I also have to say how much I appreciate this, because I was running into the very same issue on my end too. :-))

This is actually my first time attempting to send a GFI online. I've run into a bit of a snag, though—once I reach the step for signing and processing, the button just won't seem to respond to me at all. I suppose this might mean my digital signature isn't set up quite right? It's strange because when I'm dealing with the IRS, I can sign and submit everything without any trouble whatsoever. If anyone has any insight, I'd really appreciate the help.
Fainting during period? in Women's Health ·
I’ve actually been through that exact same thing more times than I can count. Before I had kids, every single month felt just as brutal as what your friend is going through right now. Even after endless doctor visits and all sorts of tests, we could never pinpoint an actual cause. I remember one OBGYN telling me that some women just have bodies that react this way to their cycle, while others seem to experience absolutely nothing at all. Once I went through childbirth, though, everything just seemed to shift on its own... the intense cramps, the fainting spells—it all just vanished, and I haven't dealt with it since.

Anyway... but maybe send her some Advil just to be safe....

I used to deal with these absolutely excruciating periods, the kind that would leave me completely unconscious—it was honestly terrifying, I can't even describe it properly... but ever since I had my baby, everything seems to have finally balanced out, and I haven't dealt with those awful pains once since then. The only thing that’s still somewhat noticeable is that they tend to be quite heavy...😢

...but I really don't want to rush to the doctor yet because you can't even see the gestational sac until about a week after your period is late... and you won't even hear a heartbeat until maybe 6 or 7 weeks...
...I'm not sure if I mentioned this already, but my cycle is anywhere from 30 to 34 days (which is a nightmare!) so that means I shouldn't even expect my period for another week or two... my ovulation happened way before the middle of my cycle, and now the test is showing positive... thank God!!! Now, I just need it to actually stick until at least a week "after" when my period was supposed to show up (and then finally go meet the little secret 😉) ...and only then will I make an appointment... what would the doctor even show me on an ultrasound if I went in right now? 🤷
...honestly, after spending way too much time sniffing around various websites and forums, I figured the smartest move for now would be to just stay calm and wait until that week after my missed period passes... 😕

...but there is some truth to what you said, even if it's just going in for the blood test... that might actually be a smart call... but who knows, I'm just lost at sea here... I guess it's pretty obvious that this is the first positive test I've ever seen in my life... 😁

Don't go to the doctor just yet... mine were also around 30 to 35 days, and when I went in for an ultrasound at 6 weeks, they could only see the gestational sac; the embryo wasn't visible yet, which left me stressing out at home for ten whole days wondering if everything was okay.... my next appointment wasn't until the 7-week mark, and that's when we finally saw the embryo and that little flickering heartbeat....

Going for an exam before 7 weeks is just too early.
nimbleeagle17 said:Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you ladies have dealt with a spike in basal body temperature during those very early stages of pregnancy?? It’s a bit out of character for me because my cycles are usually incredibly predictable... I’ve never had one run more than a day late, but this time I’m already about six days behind schedule. I actually took a home test the day before yesterday, but it came back negative, which was a little discouraging. To make matters more confusing, I’ve been running a higher temperature than usual for over ten days now.

If I may offer a little bit of advice, I think it might be best to just wait and try another test in a few days. In my own experience, my temperature jumped up almost immediately after conception, and I remember having these sudden chills in the evening. Interestingly enough, my first test didn't show a positive result, but when I tried again seven days later, it was 🙂

Wishing you all the best,
HCG 1-Step Direct Pregnancy Test

I was wondering if any of you ladies have ever tried using this specific pregnancy test before? I am really hoping someone can reassure me that it isn't prone to giving false positives... 🙂🙂

It’s just one of those budget-friendly tests for $8.25, basically just a little strip inside a clear plastic casing... The thing is, it keeps showing a positive result for me, but I find myself doubting it simply because the price point seems so low... 😂

Has anyone else here had any experience with this particular brand? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I actually know a woman who was five months pregnant and still had her period; she didn't even realize she was expecting until she felt the baby start to move. Lawrence Perez4, if you truly suspect there might be a pregnancy on your hands, I guess it might be a good idea to go ahead and schedule a checkup with your OB-GYN just to be absolutely certain.
northernhawk87 said:Oh, please! 😍 Just go for it!!!! I truly believe if you had another little one, it would be just as sweet as your own sibling—whether that's an older brother or a sister, honestly, it doesn't even matter 😍

🙂🙂🙂
I suppose I should probably start by saying that I don't always have much to contribute to these discussions, but I felt like adding a quick note here. It seems like things are moving quite quickly lately, doesn't it? I guess I might be overthinking it, but it feels as though we are all just trying to find our footing in a landscape that changes almost every single day. Maybe it’s just me, but I find myself pausing more often than I used to, just to make sure I'm actually following the thread of what everyone is saying. It’s a bit overwhelming at times, I suppose, though I try to stay calm about it all. kaže:

I had a very similar experience myself... with my first pregnancy, it happened right around day 25, but for the second one, it was much earlier, maybe around day 7 or perhaps day 11. My cycles have always been quite regular, usually landing right on the 30-day mark, so I suppose anything is possible when it comes to these things.

😁🤣 If I don't end up receiving it by tomorrow, I suppose I might have to start reconsidering my next steps, though I haven't quite decided what that would look like just yet. 🙂 I suppose this is just a quick little test to see if everything is functioning as expected... I think I might just be checking the connections here, though I can't say for certain how it will all turn out. 🙂To be perfectly honest, I don't really have any strong feelings about the whole thing. My little guy is already two years old now, and he’s such a sweetheart—really an easygoing kid to raise—so life is pretty smooth as it is. I suppose, though, that there might be some benefit in him having a little brother or sister to grow up with. Maybe it would suit his personality, but I guess I'm just thinking out loud. 🙂
steeldriver2 said:I am certainly no medical expert, but it is my understanding that fertility is strictly limited to the ovulation window. That said, this period doesn't necessarily fall right in the middle of the cycle every single time; it can occur earlier or later depending on the individual. In my own experience, I conceived toward the very end of my cycle—specifically about four or five days before my period was due, which would be day 27 or 28.

Gosh, 😲 maybe that explains why I'm pregnant too, then... I wonder, how long are your cycles usually, and are they pretty regular? Also, if you don't mind me asking, is this your first pregnancy?
I was wondering what you all think—is it actually possible for some women to be constantly fertile, regardless of when they ovulate? Or am I just looking at a strange medical phenomenon here? To give you some context, way back before my son was born, I somehow managed to get pregnant just one day after my period ended. It never even crossed my mind that I could be pregnant; my cycles had always been a bit unpredictable, though they usually stayed within a 30-day range. Unfortunately, that particular pregnancy resulted in a blighted ovum. Later on, I conceived right in the middle of my cycle, exactly when ovulation was supposed to happen, and that’s when I had my little boy. Since giving birth, my cycles have been incredibly regular, usually arriving every 28 to 30 days. BUT... today marks day 34 of my cycle and my period still hasn't shown up. Honestly, everything would be fine if my husband and I weren't currently not using protection; we actually had unprotected sex three days ago, right when I thought my period was imminent. I truly believed it was impossible to conceive if my period was just around the corner, but well, here we are, and nothing has happened yet. What do you guys think the chances are for getting pregnant at the very end of a cycle? If I don't see anything by tomorrow, I'll probably take a test, though theoretically, I don't really think I'm pregnant. I am still breastfeeding my two-year-old, but up until now, my cycles have been quite steady without any delays...
I was wondering if any of you ladies have ever ended up pregnant while using condoms? I mean, assuming nothing actually broke... maybe there was just some kind of manufacturing defect or a tiny little hole I didn't notice? 😬 To give you a bit of context, I already have one child, and my cycles have been incredibly predictable since I gave birth—my period usually shows up every 29 days, right on schedule. But this month, I’m already at day 33 and it still hasn't arrived. My husband and I generally use protection, but we did end up having unprotected sex the night before last because I was convinced my period was coming and figured my fertile window had passed ages ago. What do you all think might be going on?

To be perfectly honest, if it turns out I am pregnant, I won't be disappointed at all...🙂
silentwolf14 said:Aaaaaaaah, I am at 5 weeks and 6 days today and heading in for my first appointment! I’m not necessarily expecting to hear a heartbeat since I know some women don't hear it until much later, but if it happens, 😍😍😍

I wasn't really holding my breath either, but wow, my little one totally caught me off guard! That tiny heartbeat was thumping away so fast, almost like a freight train passing by... 😍
Dennis Kim5 I honestly don't quite understand why you're spiraling like this. It seems physically impossible for you to have ended up pregnant just because he used his finger... I think I mentioned that to you once before. There is really no way you're pregnant, I'm fairly certain about that. Just try to stay calm and be cool.
I ended up going in for my first ultrasound about ten days after I realized my period was late... though, to be honest, I had already taken a home test earlier that turned out positive. Based on my math, I probably conceived around July 12th, and when I finally sat down for my appointment on August 13th, I was roughly five weeks and six days along. Everything looked perfectly fine—we could see the embryo and even hear the little heartbeat!
Douglas Booth22 said:I’m starting to suspect these tests aren't giving me the full picture. A few of them showed nothing, yet I haven't had my period. About eight days post-ovulation, I noticed some light pink spotting—which could be implantation—and then the symptoms kicked in: dizziness, nausea, and a sudden aversion to strong smells. I’ve also developed a dark line from my navel down, similar to a linea nigra, and my blood pressure seems slightly elevated. On top of the bloating, I’ve had mild cramping and a total loss of appetite, which is completely out of character for me. It’s strange for my period to be this late; my last three cycles were perfectly regular, so such a sudden delay suggests more than just a minor hormonal fluctuation. In the past, my cycle would drift later gradually—maybe three days one month, four the next, creeping up to an average of five to seven days. Just now, a test showed a faint line for a few seconds before it vanished. Tomorrow, I’m picking up some First Response and Clearblue to get some real answers.

The linea nigra doesn't typically show up this early... that usually happens once you have a larger bump and the skin starts stretching and pigment accumulates there. It seems pretty unlikely that it would be visible already.

Maybe grab a First Response; I find those are pretty reliable around $20 and I've used them about four or five times without any issues. Best of luck!
Dennis Kim5, I honestly don't think you have much to worry about... I mean, I'm just not sure how likely it actually is to get pregnant that way. If anything was left on his finger, I find it hard to believe he could have pushed it deep enough to cause a pregnancy. Still, maybe just for your own peace of mind, it might be a good idea to take a test so you can finally relax a bit.
Please, don't let fear take hold of you... I honestly wonder what any of you would do if you found yourselves standing in my shoes right now. You cry, you break out in a cold sweat, you open up to your parents, and then, just when it feels like everyone finally understands and accepts the situation, you face a miscarriage. It feels like your entire world is just collapsing... it's truly devastating. I truly believe that as long as babies are being born healthy and strong, everything else will eventually find its way back to balance. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of you 😘

So, I’m actually heading to the OB-GYN pretty soon to have someone officially confirm that I'm pregnant and get the ball rolling on the next steps, you know how it works. Tomorrow I’ll obviously have to break the news to my parents, which is honestly what's weighing on me most... just hoping my dad doesn't absolutely lose it on me 😁 I mean, he won't, but there's definitely going to be some serious drama. Anyway, whatever happens, hopefully the baby will be healthy and in my arms in about nine months, and I'll have everything sorted out by then, I guess!

I actually had the same fear about my parents being upset... but their reaction totally caught me off guard; they were actually so happy! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you, please let us know how it all goes... and what does your boyfriend think about it all?
