Yeah,
we're all just having this big group mental meeting once a day~together

Seriously, you have no idea what an experience that would be!

Right now, I’ve got one member's thoughts streaming through my head... then another... ugh, give me a break, slow down already.

I'm sure Nemren is watching it all unfold.😁

Flemming said:No, you actually need to close off that more active palm with your left hand... just to calm yourself down, you know?

But I don't need any of that because I feel perfectly fine just the way I am, and honestly, that whole approach doesn't even suit me—I'm not looking to "calm down," I'm trying to open up, get it?🙂

Yeah, usually Turkish style... honestly, you just reminded me of those belly dancers from overseas or even some Gypsy dance troupes... man, I love that stuff.

By the way, I think you described that exercise pretty well.

Since we’re on the topic of meditation, let me tell you something: nothing works without physical activity!
¨Getting into real, solid, consistent sports~that is the true medicine for the soul.

When you mentioned putting the right hand into the left one, I honestly thought you meant deactivating the more active hand, you know? That's all I was getting at...
😉 😁

Look, if I'm right-handed, then wouldn't it make more sense for my right palm to be open toward me, meaning the right palm goes on the left?
I just don't feel comfortable doing it any other way.😁

Flemming said:That’s exactly how a leftist should operate. 😉 😁

Oh please, do I really look like some radical leftist to you?

I'm more of a right-winger, buddy—if you can call it that—since I use my right hand to grab what I want and my left to take what's mine.😁(desnim uzimam, lijevom primam😉)

What about you?

I usually make sure I’m sitting perfectly upright, 😁keeping my spine straight—because honestly, how could anyone even imagine trying to meditate in a recliner?—with my right palm resting on my left, fingers joined, and my hands resting right in my lap over my crossed legs.
Yeah, I just close my eyes and lock onto my heartbeat, following that rhythm until the world around me just fades away, staying there until I feel this warmth starting to spread through my solar plexus and eventually my entire body, or at least until my legs start falling asleep. 😁(And then I have to get up and waddle around like a penguin for a bit.)
Doing it for half an hour would be way too long for me, even though I do feel like I’ve just stepped out of the most incredibly refreshing shower afterward; usually, I just stick to ten or fifteen minutes, mostly first thing in the morning.

I was wondering how much time you actually spend meditating on a daily basis—since we’re all talking about it anyway—and... what’s your actual technique?

p.s.
(I don't bother with any of that mind-centering stuff; instead, I focus on centering within the heart😁, where the mind starts creating these little gaps, or what someone once called "idle gear," which ultimately leads to some pretty solid insights into whatever you're searching for, or it just leaves you feeling relaxed, clear-headed, and warm))

Ehh... maybe I am being petty!

As far as those legs go, I’ll be heading right back there to count every single one of them myself!
Nancy Chase2,

I just can't get behind your way of thinking.
How am I supposed to truly understand the mill without actually facing it head-on; without letting it break me down and build me back up all at once?
What kind of "knowledge" could I possibly claim to have in its place?

Is it just knowing what color the mill happens to be?
And honestly, why would I even care about its color?
Knowing the color is nothing more than superficial nonsense that serves absolutely no practical purpose... It reminds me of trying to guess the flavor of a bowl of soup just by staring at it on the table.
How does looking at the broth tell me anything meaningful about how that soup actually tastes? It tells me next to nothing!

And as for how the mill actually functions, I'm even further from the truth there..

If you sit me down and recount some long story about how it operates, I certainly won't experience the machine the same way you did.
All I’ll end up with is some vague mental image, which is really just the absolute limit of my understanding.
And that preconceived notion could easily turn into a pile of utter garbage where I can't even distinguish where my own hopes begin, where my beliefs lie, and where my pure prejudices take over.

So what happens when life finally forces me to stand face-to-face with that very same mill—the one we sat around talking about ages ago on some dreamy meadow while sipping Coca-Cola and watching Bambi?

Through what kind of eyes will I be viewing that mill when that moment comes?

Probably through the wide, naive eyes of Bambi.
And those are definitely not the eyes of objectivity.

Ultimately, the only thing I can ever truly know is your version of the mill; your specific experience of it, and only to the extent that you are capable of communicating that experience to me..
As for me and the mill, without any real collision between us,
we both remain total mysteries to one another.

Where exactly is this school located?
I'm afraid I already have my hands completely full with this whole "school" situation, if you catch my drift.

Why couldn't she🙂 ?
Why shouldn't she be out there expanding her horizons?
The shoreline, the shallows, the deep ocean...
🙂

Look, I never actually met Socrates in person😁 so I can't tell you exactly how the man carried himself, but from everything I've gathered, the guy spent his life walking among people, observing them, talking to them (that's an action!), teaching them (another action!), and ultimately facing the consequences when they put him on trial.
If you don't consider those actual deeds, then honestly, I wouldn't even know how to explain the difference between a debate that's just floating aimlessly in the air and one that actually has some real-world substance behind it.😉

"YES!"
Exactly!

"Well, sure, that crab had ten legs."
But how do you know it wasn't just crippled?

Seriously though, I need to remember this...😉

"I would look for the answer in epistemology, but it seems you all have decided to dive headfirst into historical fiction instead."

We're diving into everything at this point.
I kind of love that verb.😁
There’s this specific type of human arrogance that just drives me up the wall—this desperate, hollow need to act like an expert on everything without actually having a clue what they're talking about. It’s that ridiculous "knowing without knowing" phenomenon, where people mistake a loud opinion for actual insight. Why is everyone so obsessed with performing intelligence instead of actually possessing it? They strut around with this unearned confidence, lecturing anyone who will listen, all while lacking even a shred of genuine understanding. It’s pure pretension, honestly.🙂"

I’m sitting here today by the coast, staring out at this ocean that looks weirdly still, almost like it's asleep, while I watch little George Washington.
What on earth is lurking in those hollowed-out pits, those deep trenches carved out by the relentless, crushing force of the ocean's greatest legends?

🙂What am I even saying? Honestly, I sound like I’m being way too sweet right now—it’s almost sickeningly precious, isn't it? Like I'm putting on this artificial, overly polite act that just feels completely fake.
I’m honestly just trying to suck up anyway, but my mind is spinning so fast right now that I can't even make sense of the damn letters flying off the screen; it's like everything is just spiraling out of control.
Where on earth are the unidentified and still missing nerve centers of this organism known as Elvis Presley!

I mean, honestly, at my place, the letters might as well be completely losing their minds, because they were practically born with a touch of pure insanity baked right into them.
I’m going straight for their very core; I want to strip them down to that raw, desperate urge to make them immortal, to keep them perpetually alive, and honestly, I know damn well I can do it.
Is it just me, or does it only happen when they’re acting completely feral? Like, if they’re constantly jumping around and losing their minds, you have to wonder if it’s coming from pure intolerance or if they're just spiraling out of control.
Look, you could try to reason with them, or maybe you can just decide to start playing games with them instead.

Does it work? I mean, does it actually fly? It flies because the reach is just massive, and even though I can’t stand the whole concept of flying, I find myself reaching for it every once in a while when I absolutely have to.
I’m just going to borrow some ideas from someone for a day or two, if you don't mind. Why shouldn't I take a moment to actually learn something useful, right? It's almost a rule of thumb at this point, so I'll grab what I need now and deal with the rest later.
He’s walking with a bit more pep in his step now, isn't he?
Look, I’m done playing nice and sugarcoating things just to make people feel comfortable; from here on out, I’m going to be blunt, I'm going to be direct, and I'm going to tell it exactly like it is.

George Washington!
Sometimes I feel like I could just sit here and spend hours spinning yarns about nothing but George Washington and his whole damn world, honestly.
And don't even get me started on that mistress of his, or the way George Washington eats, thinks, and what he actually craves...
What exactly did you all think was going to happen? Did you honestly believe I was sitting there completely clueless while this was all going down?🙂)!

How absolutely ridiculous and absurd is that, honestly? It’s practically laughable! I mean, what on earth am I supposed to know about some guy like George Washington anyway? Why should I even care?
Shouldn't I be George Washington myself, or at least someone in his inner circle, before I even attempt to open my mouth and say a single word about him?
I was sitting there watching him today, and I realized something that honestly kind of infuriates me: I don't know a single thing about him, and I mean absolutely nothing. Not one shred of substance. He’s all noise and zero depth, just a massive, deafening wall of sound with absolutely nothing behind it to back it up.
It’s all just empty fluff—nothing substantial to show for it.

I’m left with absolutely nothing to do but obsessively study the way he moves on all fours; that weird, half-slanted gait of his just keeps me stuck.
When you're staring down a steep slope covered in loose, crumbling rock, what are you actually left with besides your own gut instinct? You’ve got that incline looming over you, shifting underfoot, and at that point, all the gear and technical manuals in the world don't mean a damn thing because you only have your own intuition to lean on.
What is it about watching him that gives me such a massive jolt of electricity? Seriously, does anyone else feel that sudden, sharp surge of energy just by looking at his face?
It’s hard to put my finger on it, but I can feel this lingering sense of childishness hanging in the air—it's like this deep-seated, ingrained fear mixed with a certain distance, some kind of unauthentic, awkward thing just stuck there where it doesn't belong, you know?
Furthermore.
And that’s the only piece of information I've been given—the only thing tangible enough for me to actually consider a possibility, let alone something I'd personally vouch for.
Are these ideas even remotely grounded in reality? I mean, seriously, can we even take these thoughts seriously when they are this detached from how things actually work in the real world?
But let’s be clear about one thing: that information didn't just fall out of thin air, because its only actual source is me.
Now we’re finally getting somewhere.
Maybe this is finally the reason we can stop spinning our wheels and actually dive into a more meaningful, deep-dive analysis.🙂

I can't help but wonder, honestly, what we're actually doing here?
Can I even bother trying to argue about something when I don't know the first thing about it? Is there any point in opening my mouth if I’m completely clueless?
When I say I "know" something, what I’m actually talking about is having a certain kind of insight, a specific type of "knowledge of," which is fundamentally different from that gut-level feeling you get when someone just catches you off guard.
You really think you know anything about how things work in this business? You’re just throwing around empty words like you actually have some kind of expertise, but let's be honest—you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
Am I actually dialed in enough on all the stuff I love to talk about, or am I just shouting into the void?

Look, I’m not sitting here telling you to go out and get sick just so you can feel like you’ve earned the right to heal someone else, and I’m certainly not suggesting you go out and kill someone under the guise of "defending" what was actually just a cold-blooded murder. I'm not making any grand proclamations or trying to lecture anyone here; I’m simply stating the plain, undeniable facts of the matter.
How on earth can you claim to understand the true nature of an illness without actually tasting its bitterness firsthand? I mean, sure, maybe you think you can grasp it through some textbook or a lecture, but isn't that just intellectual vanity? Can you really say you know what it's like to be broken when you haven't felt the weight of it crushing you? Maybe you can, if you’re delusional enough to believe theory equals reality, but I highly doubt it.
But seriously, how much is actually enough?
And what if all those endless, exhausting things you say about her just aren't enough? What if your words lack the actual life and raw power needed to truly cut through everything and reach where they need to go?

What’s even the point of a word if you can't actually feel its weight behind it?
If just hearing her name doesn't make your entire body tremble, then what is even the point of the word itself? What's the use of language if it doesn't carry that kind of visceral, bone-deep impact?
It would be completely bloodless, utterly boring, and totally silent—not to mention absolutely useless in any practical sense.
So, it’s all just a lost cause, then? Honestly, what was even the point of trying if we were just spinning our wheels from the very start?

It’s actually kind of a twisted little advantage, isn't it? You can be feeling absolutely terrible, completely under the weather, and yet because there isn't some official medical paper trail or a lab test to prove it, nobody can actually label you as sick. That’s one of the weird perks of being ill, I suppose. You get to carry around all that physical misery while technically remaining perfectly healthy in the eyes of the system.

And besides, you can absolutely kill someone without actually taking their life.
A single word can actually kill you, right? And just listen to how absolutely ridiculous that sounds when you say it out loud—how on earth could one little word cause an injury just as real or as sharp as a physical knife blade?
Has humanity actually grown soft, or have we just spent the last few decades overinflating our own sense of importance? I find myself staring at the world lately, wondering if we’ve collectively lost that grit that used to define us, or if we’re all just part of this massive, ego-driven delusion where we think every minor inconvenience is a catastrophe. Is it that we've become fundamentally weaker, or is it simply that the modern individual has developed such an inflated sense of self-worth that they can no longer handle the basic friction of reality?

So, let me wrap this whole thing up;
it seems people have convinced themselves they actually possess expertise in certain areas, even when they don't have the slightest clue that their supposed "knowledge" is nothing more than an illusion.
The cycle just keeps spinning, doesn't it? The machine keeps grinding away, benefiting some while leaving others out in the cold.
And for some, it’s working out just perfectly.

While George Washington marches along on his own path, I find myself contemplating whether I should just head off in my own direction entirely.
What did I learn from all this? Absolutely nothing.
Or maybe I did learn something.
Perhaps the only way I'll ever actually shake loose this messy, half-baked sense of wisdom is by throwing myself headfirst into a completely different set of circumstances.
By rearranging everything I thought I knew, I'm either confirming my own truths or desperately trying to deny them.
Isn't it funny how you people twist things around, calling it "learning" when it's really just mental gymnastics?

Anyway, I've finally washed my face clean—both literally and metaphorically—of all this ignorance.
I have to, because I'm only human.
We humans have this deep-seated need to be right, yet we struggle to admit when we're wrong because we always have some convenient excuse ready to go.
We like to pretend we're smart enough.
But in reality, we can barely understand ourselves,
let alone someone like George Washington.

And so......
the endless debate continues about that one specific topic where everyone claims to be such an expert.
What a ridiculous way to live; being simultaneously foolish and self-righteous at the exact same time.
Because true talent lies in the ability to manufacture a sense of intelligence out of pure stupidity.
And believe me, people are incredibly good at it! Oh, they certainly are!

THE END.

...to impose (Dad, please let me express myself)
..to shape (I'll rebel against that, I know I will)
.....to be programmed()
to lower (oh no, here we go again!)

A chronic shortage, is it?🙂

Don't worry, it's actually better if she doesn't know what she wants, because then you'd actually have a problem trying to get everything to fall into place...👍

Laziness. Honestly, what even is that? Is it just a lack of drive, or is it some deep-seated psychological defense mechanism we all use to avoid facing the reality of our own mediocrity? I find myself sitting here, staring at the wall, wondering if the constant push for productivity in this country is actually making us more efficient or if it's just driving everyone straight into a mental breakdown. Why do we act like being busy is a personality trait? It’s exhausting just thinking about it. Are we actually incapable of doing things, or have we just become so conditioned by this relentless American grind that the moment we stop moving, we feel this crushing sense of guilt? It makes you wonder if "laziness" isn't a character flaw at all, but rather a silent protest against a system that demands every single ounce of our energy until there's nothing left. I guess I’ll just throw this in here as a keyword to get things moving.😁😉
If you actually want to get somewhere in this life, if you truly want to achieve anything worth mentioning, you have to be willing to sweat for it and put in the grueling hours. It’s just common sense, isn't it? But looking at some of you, I can't help but wonder—is everyone just looking for a free ride here? Does everyone honestly believe they can just stroll up and claim something valuable just because they think their intentions are pure or because they possess some imaginary moral superiority? You can't just sit around polishing your soul and expecting the world to hand you a prize for being "good." Nothing of actual value comes for free.

Who exactly are you planning on unloading all that righteous indignation on, once you’ve finished playing the saint, if you intend to just rot away inside your own tiny little bubble?
So many people walk around under this massive delusion that they’re actually open, approachable, and easy to talk to, don't you think? They carry themselves with this unearned confidence, even going so far as to convince themselves that they are inherently fascinating just by existing. It’s honestly exhausting to watch.😁
It’s honestly enough just for them to walk into a room; the second they show up, the entire atmosphere shifts, and suddenly every girl in the place is falling head over heels like they've been hit by a lightning bolt.🙂Since they’ve been blessed with such... inspired... little bursts of insight, what exactly are they planning to do with them?

Oh yeah, one more thing...
Anyone who actually believes they’re doing everything right, yet constantly finds themselves tripping over their own feet and failing to get anything done, really needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask themselves if there's something fundamentally broken in their head. Is it just bad luck, or is there a deeper issue at play here?
Laziness isn't just some minor inconvenience; it’s a full-blown epidemic that’s out here running circles around everyone's heads like a lunatic on a rampage!
Is it just me, or is laziness really the root cause of most of our problems? I mean, honestly, when you step back and actually look at why things fall apart, isn't it almost always just pure, unadulterated sloth driving the bus? Why do we insist on overcomplicating everything with these elaborate psychological excuses when the truth is usually much simpler and far more frustrating? We love to dress up our lack of discipline as "burnout" or "mental fatigue," but let’s be real—how often is it just a fundamental refusal to get off the couch and actually do the work? It feels like we're living in an era where avoiding effort has become a lifestyle choice rather than a temporary lapse in judgment, and doesn't that just make you wonder how much more we could actually achieve if we stopped making excuses for our own stagnation?
And honestly, isn't it just plain terrifying?
Look, we really have to just come out and admit it...

People always talk about men being hunters, but let's be honest—half the time they don't even care about the prey once it's caught, because the real thrill was always in the hunt itself, right? It's about setting the trap, testing out a new piece of gear, and the sheer adrenaline of the chase.
And now he's just applied that exact same logic to how people approach women...

V.

Oh, really?

Are you absolutely certain your starting premise is even remotely accurate?

"Controlling a man?"
Honestly, I’d argue that the whole phrase "controlling a man" was actually cooked up by men themselves, just so they wouldn't have to admit to themselves—or anyone else—that they simply aren't interesting enough to keep her attention (which, let's be honest, is often the case for both sides), rather than admitting she can't control them anymore.

What kind of woman would ever walk away from an interesting man just because she finished "controlling" him?
So, basically,
you're forcing a conclusion where a woman leaving a man isn't about her desire to exert control, but is actually a direct result of the man's own lack of substance—read: how boring he is.
