Let's vote for a Psychology subforum! in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Alright, folks...

Cut the fluff, stop dancing around the issue, and just give me your honest take!

ARE YOU IN FAVOR OF AN ADDITIONAL SUB-FORUM FOR PSYCHOLOGY?

Honestly, you don't even need to bother leaving a comment, because I think anyone with half a brain can see the obvious value in having a dedicated space for psychology on a site like this..

😁 🙂

It’s honestly just hypocritical and hollow to sit around mourning some good man..

So, what's all this crying actually for?

Are we just trying to show everyone how soft we are?

?🙄

Is the goal to prove how much we supposedly care?

-by shedding a few tears?

ahh..

Cut out the circus act, because none of this does any actual good,

other than providing cheap entertainment for the masses..

If you want to honor him, then actually do something, even if it means putting yourself on the line for a good cause

but at least do something that carries some dignity

something meaningful for yourself

something done with real conviction, with strength, and with genuine heart..

now that would be

far better than these useless tears

and a whole lot more purposeful

To take a grand movement and distill it down to its simplest essence—to turn a dramatic pirouette into nothing more than a subtle twitch of a smile, or to shrink a massive leap into a mere brush of the hand—that is the true art of being able to dance with such quiet intensity that it resonates exactly as it should. It’s about doing it without being pushy, with genuine respect. No forcing it, just pure focus. And absolutely no showing off; just total clarity.
There’s no need for external noise, because every single movement you make already carries its own internal rhythm.
Even balance isn't something you "do" or force into existence; rather, it wells up from the very space you create by simply letting go...
And then there's that next thought, which follows you like an echo, inseparable from the beginning and the end... because it feels you just as deeply as you feel it...

But then, bam! You step right on someone's foot... suddenly, the drums and the cymbals start crashing loud and heavy.🙂

And just like that, you get the signal to start the whole cycle all over again...

"Eye for an Eye?

If you throw a punch at me,
I’m swinging right back at you.
By the end of it, we’ll both
Be staring through nothing but black eyes.

But if you give me a hug,
I’m going to hug you right back.
And that’s how we’ll both end up
Sealing a lifelong friendship pact."

It’s damn near impossible to escape that constant sense of addiction lurking in the background..
Honestly, isn't it better just to own up to it, to walk right alongside it so we can actually get to know it and figure out why it’s even there in the first place?
There is simply no way we’re supposed to be at some sort of starting line, feeling this effortless, breezy awareness of what we need to do, which step to take, or even which direction to head in... And if, on top of all that, we go and pile on more self-imposed nonsense like—"I can't let myself become obsessed with the goal," or "I shouldn't be thinking about this or that"—then aren't we just burying ourselves even deeper under a mountain of rigid, goal-oriented rules, all in a desperate attempt to avoid doing exactly what we're trying to prevent?

Norris said:Look, if you go through life convinced everything is a struggle and everyone is out to get you, then that’s exactly the kind of mess you’re going to experience; but if you make the choice to stay positive and believe people are actually decent, life starts feeling easier and good things begin to happen. Either way, you’re the one choosing your mindset, and God is right there backing you up in that decision.

Seriously? That’s just some flowery, feel-good philosophy that doesn't hold any water in the real world...
The only thing that "follows your thoughts" is the sheer exhaustion you feel after smelling the same old nonsense for a hundred years... maybe then reality might actually start aligning with your delusions...😉

I was feeling a deep sense of melancholy,
As I wandered out through the open countryside,
And there, right before my eyes, I spotted a butterfly,
A striking thing, patterned in white and deep crimson,
Drifting aimlessly on a cool blue breeze.

😘 🙂 🙂

That blue flower you're holding tight
Both the sun and the moon, each tucked away in its own little jar
And a smile caught within a smile
Forever...

The last time I was actually out there swinging a shovel, someone had the nerve to comment on my technique by saying something like, "Hey, you're throwing too much dirt over your shoulder, you're gonna hit yourself..."😁😁

That was the moment it clicked for me—I realized I needed to find a completely different way to express myself...

And now that I’ve sat here and really chewed on it for a while... doesn't that kind of behavior reflect how everyone else operates, too? Honestly, what is it with people?😁

You reap exactly what you sow...
Witches Online: Pirate Edition in Spirituality ·
Oh, now we’re talking... you start by just barely tasting them with your tongue... those little beads of sweat breaking out from all that tension, or should I call it agonizing anticipation? Then... you creep up behind your victims in total silence and sink your teeth right into their necks... and step back in a complete trance, while the blood just drips, drop by drop... straight into those mouths you’ve forced open... honestly, I can already see their chests pulsing with excitement😁

There, one of them just jolted, a little twitch... looks like he loosened the rope... and listen to him screaming for you to tighten it back up😁😁

I can't quite make out who it is from this angle... is that...?.. hmm...?

Paul Campbell3, honey, you might think you’re just putting that victim to sleep, but honestly? You’re actually doing them a massive favor😁

dustywolf13 said:Is it a bit too poetic or dreamy of me to expect to learn how to brew all sorts of potions, cast spells, and things like that... for good purposes, obviously... does even such a thing exist?

🙂 🙂

Haven't you realized by now that you've already done exactly that?

Every single desire you manifest and "set into motion" is effectively you casting a spell, and I always find myself remembering how someone once pointed out that whenever I want something and start moving toward it, I’m essentially putting the entire universe in motion just to make it happen... but hah, there's a tiny little trap hidden in there, isn't there?
Am I actually speaking from within that desire... because if I'm not, then the universe is going to move on behalf of whoever is actually representing that wish.🙂)))

Just imagine if I end up working toward a desire that isn't even mine, and suddenly the neighbor gets the new bike instead of me! grrrrrrrr

I can never get enough of dissecting this topic—trying to figure out what truly belongs to me and what doesn't...
because I know that's the key to finding that secret little gingerbread house..
And let me tell you, it is no small task to call everything within myself by its true name..

...
When two people cross paths, there's always one who "receives" and another who "gives," and just imagine a tiny fragment, a thought... traveling my way, while another travels from me toward them, in the opposite direction..
That little piece finds its home inside me, it sticks, it nests...
just as it does with the other person, and it doesn't even matter how much of it happens, because even the smallest amount counts..

And then, once the conversation is over, we both head our separate ways, processing the story through those little fragments they always have to tell us..

It is vital that we actually listen to them, because later, when we reach a crucial turning point and start pulling all those initial fragments out of ourselves to set them in motion, we need to know damn well which ones are ours and which ones came from someone else..

meow, don't let them get to you

you guys have completely messed with my head

You act like it’s all so incredibly simple, like anyone could just wake up tomorrow and become a Witch, as if all you really need to do is just make up your mind, decide that you are one, and then you're off and running...

😁

if it weren't so damn difficult, that is..

At the end of the day, there is nothing but magic, and it only carries weight because you choose to give it meaning..

What is my point about being a Witch?

..it's the exact same thing as my point about life itself..

and I'm still in the middle of writing it out

So, what actually is the point of life?

..am I the life itself?
Witches Online - New Generation, 6 in Spirituality ·
Patrick Chase2... what an absolute nutcase... what on earth did he just write🙄 😁 😁

Well, let me try to ease the sheer agony left behind by that previous post... I think I'll just copy and paste one particularly witchy email from New Zealand... Much thanks to my dear witch friend, and I really hope we finally get to see each other soon... She’s actually arriving in the States in the middle of June, and honestly, looking at the kind of chaos this encounter is going to spark—especially since she sent me some incredibly graphic, "in flagrante" photos right before this email—I can already see where this is heading, you crazy witch.....

And here I was, actually deciding to be a decent human being for once😁

The young King Arthur was caught completely off guard while he was out poaching in the forests belonging to the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. That monarch could have ended him on the spot
since poaching was a capital offense under the laws of that era, but the
monarch hesitated when faced with Arthur's youthful energy and charm, offering him his freedom in exchange for an answer to one impossible question: What is it that women actually want?

A question like that would leave even the oldest sages speechless, and to young Arthur
it seemed like a feat that was simply impossible to achieve. Regardless, it was better
to search for the truth than to end up swinging from a rope.
So, Arthur returned to his own realm and began questioning
everyone he could find. He interviewed princesses, queens, working girls, noble
women, wise men, and even the local court fools—basically, everyone.
But nobody could give him a single satisfying answer. However, they all
advised him to seek the truth from an old, wise witch, because they believed
she alone possessed the knowledge. Of course, the price would be steep, given that the witch was notorious for her astronomical fees.

Finally, the deadline arrived for submitting the requested
answer. Arthur had no choice left but to consult with
the witch.
She agreed to provide the answer, but only for a massive price: she wanted
to marry Sir Gawain, the most noble knight of the Round Table and Arthur's
best friend.
Young Arthur stared at the witch in pure terror: she was hunched and hideous, possessed only a single tooth, and radiated a stench so foul it made people gag; on top of that, she let out these bizarre screams and noises.
Arthur had never seen such a revolting creature in all his life. And when he thought
about having to ask his best friend to marry her, he froze in fear. But
Sir Gawain learned what was happening and resolutely declared that he would sacrifice himself for
his friend's life and to preserve the honor of the Round Table.

The wedding was announced,
and once it was over, the witch, in her hellish wisdom, declared:

"Every woman wants to be the master of her own life!"

As soon as they heard this, everyone present confessed that the witch had uttered a profound truth and that she was absolutely right. And once the answer was delivered, the monarch of the neighboring kingdom granted Arthur his freedom and his life. The wedding took place in grand style. Only the courtiers attended, and no one felt more relief—and more dread—than Arthur. Sir Gawain remained smiling, polite, and respectful, known for his impeccable manners and nobility. Meanwhile, the old witch caused an unprecedented scandal with her outrageous behavior: she tore into her food like a wild animal using only her fingers, ignoring all utensils, all while emitting terrifying
screams and sounds (not to mention that unbearable stench).

Eventually, the time arrived
for their first wedding night. While waiting for his new bride to
join him in bed, Gawain caught sight of the most beautiful female creature he could ever imagine approaching him. Utterly spellbound, he asked what had
happened.
To his surprise, the young woman replied that it was indeed her, the witch, but that she would spend half
her life with him as a witch, and the other half as a beauty, simply because he had...
He was being perfectly kind to her. She even had the nerve to ask him which version of her he preferred to see during the
daytime versus what he wanted at night. Honestly, can you believe such a cruel question? 🙂)))))))haha
Gawain was left stuck in this impossible dilemma—should he choose a stunning wife he could show off to everyone during the day without a shred of shame, only to come home to a monstrous witch in the privacy of his own bedroom??? Or would he rather parade a witch around in front of his friends during the day, just to enjoy the sweet moments of marriage with a total beauty once the lights go down???
What would you guys pick if you were in his shoes?
Gawain’s actual answer is right down below, but before you go reading it,
make up your own mind first.

__________________________________________________

The noble Gawain told her that he’d leave it entirely up to her to decide.
As soon as she heard that, the witch let out a laugh and declared she would always remain in the form of a breathtakingly beautiful girl, both day and night, simply because Gawain respected her and
let her be the master of her own life.

So, what’s the moral of this little story?
It doesn't actually matter whether a woman is beautiful or ugly.
Because deep down... she's always a witch.
