Honestly, this movie was a total bust.

I mean... give it a little time and you'll see—the movie is actually great.
Words of Wisdom in Philosophy ·
If you look at it from a purely practical standpoint, wisdom is basically just experience in disguise. It’s funny—sometimes someone with tons of experience actually gives a much better answer than someone who hasn't lived through it yet. And honestly? That happens more often than not. Usually, wisdom belongs to the older generation who have already seen it all, so since I’m still pretty young myself... I’m not really looking to debate the whole concept of wisdom right now. I’d rather just do what young people do—have some fun! Catch ya later.
Canadian? in Miscellaneous ·
It would be so cool to pick up some Japanese, but... where do you even start? I only know three words: "hai" (yes) and "domo arigato" (thanks a lot). And don't even get me started on actually writing it—ugh! All those characters... feels like staring at a wall of hieroglyphs.

Not totally sure about Corley, but I know for a fact it's Amanda.

crimsonjackal8 said:Metal and country music... they’re actually kind of similar—you know, just fast fingerwork on the keys or strings😵 😛 😛 😛

The vocals feel pretty much the same too...

How on earth can you compare metal to country?!
That’s like saying punk and Motown are the same thing!
And don't go disrespecting the vocals... unless they sound like they're singing from a grave, like Metallica. The musicianship is killer, but seriously, do they have to do all that vocal gymnastics while they play?

"Welcome to Duloc, such a perfect town. Here we have some rules, let us lay them down. Don't make waves, stay in line, and we'll get along fine. Duloc is a perfect place. Please keep off on the grass, shine your shoes, wipe your - face. Duloc is - Duloc is - Duloc is a perfect place! "

"Man, you gotta warn somebody before you just crack one off. My mouth was open and everything. "

Shrek. Piece of cake, man. I think I've watched it like ten times.

Before my friends literally dragged me to the theater, I already knew this movie was going to be a bust just seeing Jim Carrey in the lead role. It’s such an interesting concept—they could have actually done something with it instead of turning it into some mindless American comedy. Honestly, if this had been made by a studio in London or somewhere else, it might have actually been good.

Cast review:
Jim Carrey - Just your typical guy who didn't bother with school, acting like a total jerk for laughs, which is why they call him a comedian and hand him all this cash. It's his standard routine... honestly, it stinks.
Jennifer Aniston - Well, she had a pretty mindless role, but hey, she played it well enough, I guess.
Morgan Freeman - He played God perfectly fine, but unlike Carrey, Freeman always delivers, so there's really no surprise there. And yeah, I totally agree that Walken should've been cast as the Devil. Have you guys seen him in Prophecy?

Honestly, according to www.thetrailertrash.com, this movie is even worse than Blade II—and I actually trust the folks over at thetrailertrash.com.

Look, Blade II is actually a solid flick. I mean, sure, it’s definitely leaning hard into that Hollywood formula, but it's a fun, punchy action movie. If anyone’s out there looking for some deep, philosophical meaning, they're barking up the wrong tree—that's just not what this movie is for. It's there for the thrills!

Plus, based on the trailer alone, this one looks alright.
Then again, trailers can be so misleading, right? Based on the trailer for The Matrix Reloaded, you would've thought it was a masterpiece, only for it to turn out to be total garbage.

Cheers to all my fellow Matrix fans! 🙂
