Look, buddy, I made it very clear in my post (maybe try reading it again?) that Kimi could only have been overtaken during regular pit stops, not on track, since the SC didn't happen. I also explicitly stated that while it would be tough for Alonso, it would be much more likely for Ricciardo.
My assumption is based on the fact I laid out. It's a fact, not some fiction, and I'm mostly pointing it out because it's hilarious how Kimi's fans panicked immediately—just like you, predictably rushed and reactionary.
None of this, obviously, means it actually *would* have happened. It just highlights the obvious fact that both Ricciardo and Alonso created a Gap between themselves and Kimi, eventually catching up to him at the same time and pace.
I didn't have the time to sit down and calculate exactly where Kimi would have ended up on track after his pit entry, or if those two actually had the pace to close that gap once they were back out. I just said it was highly plausible. Kimi clearly wasn't looking good, and it was obvious those two were catching him with ease.
And then I have to listen to this nonsense about Kimi having good pace, LOL.
Good grief, what's next? Your claim that the Earth is a flat plate carried on the back of a red turtle named Fernando?🤣
Do you even realize that Alonso could only have overtaken Kimi if he had overtaken both Ricciardo and Kimi at the exact same time?
The only other possibility was Kimi losing ground to both Ricciardo and Alonso simultaneously, but that's bordering on science fiction, especially when we're talking about Alonso...
Ricciardo might have stood a chance, but Alonso practically had none unless Kimi pulls something stupid or the team screws him over...
Get real and think about how Alonso would've passed Kimi, considering Kimi was ahead on track and would have been the first one in the pits...
Alonso would have probably had to pull a fastest lap on old tires that's somehow 4-5 seconds faster than everyone else on track.😂
The Gap was anything but small...http://en.mclarenf-1.com/index.php?p...nando%20Alonso
Besides, Alonso couldn't even manage it during the early pit stops in Spain, where the Gap was way smaller and the team gave him the advantage...
But sure, in Monaco, I guess he'd just make up 4-5 seconds and skip past Ricciardo on the side.😍
Who knows, maybe Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have no idea how lucky they are. If Alonso had actually stepped on the gas, he might have overtaken them during the pit stops too.🤣
