neonfox65 said:Don't act like you don't care. You specifically said Lewis Hamilton was going to bail on Ferrari because of Sebastian Vettel, or that Sebastian Vettel was going to set him up for a fall. 😉
You got it a little twisted.🤣 I actually said the whole thing was rigged by Red Bull Racing and that either Sebastian Vettel or Lewis Hamilton was going to get screwed over as part of their script...
Hard pass🤣 Honestly, I don't care if Kimi or Alonso was better... I like Kimi more, but he went to Ferrari (again 🙂), so he’s automatically off my favorites list...
What’s actually hilarious is people acting like experts about someone overtaking in Monaco, especially when the guy behind is trailing by over 3 seconds just because of a few laps where he was faster—all while the leader was busy lapping traffic... I told you ages ago to go study fia.com, but you’re still out here daydreaming based on Massa and those few laps where he was maybe 0.5 seconds faster per lap. In Monaco, that means absolutely nothing.
Like I said from the jump, there is zero chance Alonso overtakes Kimi unless one of these happens: - Kimi catches a trophy - Kimi has a disaster in the box - The crew favors Alonso during pit stops
And none of that has anything to do with Kimi or Alonso personally. That’s just how things work in Monaco ☕ Ask Lewis Hamilton; he can explain exactly why it works that way. He knows better than anyone 😬
I figured I’d Google why she was even remotely "famous," and funny enough, I stumbled upon a massive list of those overrated Canadian actresses. Oh, and I also discovered Boobpedia exists. 🤣🤣🤣
Roger Wright94 said:Odds? Probability? There’s a massive difference between zero and something that's just close to zero (meaning, incredibly unlikely).
What were the odds of Goran Ivanišević winning Wimbledon 2001?😁
Give me a break🤣 Huge.😁...I always think about it and immediately facepalm.🤣
I remember it like it was yesterday watching his first match in the first round (was up against some Swedish guy... I think it was Johnson) and I just knew right then—this is his year to win Wimbledon. I don't recall ever seeing him before where the ref would screw him over multiple times in a row and he wouldn't just lose his mind and smash rackets all over the court.😍 I told him, this is it. This is his year... he's finally calm and not erupting like a volcano.😬
My buddy just stared at me like I was crazy and asked if I was sure, and I was like, "Totally, 100%."😁 He suggested we hit up a sportsbook... but since we were already at the bar, we just decided to toss a few bucks down instead.😬
And what exactly have you been rambling about for days now😁 About some "what if" scenarios and weird tactics to somehow outplay your own teammate... It’s honestly pretty funny how hard you're trying here, especially since you knew from the jump that the chances were basically zero.😍🤣
Jeff and Jules Bianchi might have actually pulled off that genius strategy and overtaken Hulkenberg—who knows, maybe even Alonso too... okay, fine, it’s a massive stretch, but hey, nothing's impossible. 😁
And then what, specifically? Where on earth did you get the idea that tires are just as warm after xy laps behind the SC as they are when a race car exits the pits with the heaters pulled off just seconds prior? Besides, what makes you think Kimi’s tires would give out at lap 25, while Alonso’s would somehow hold up until lap 28, 35, 45, 50, or 62?
Get real—Kimi was leading, which means he held all the cards regarding strategy, regardless of whatever pseudo-intellectual nonsense you're preaching.
It’s easy to play general after the battle is over and blather about how long Massa's tires lasted, but that’s a completely different story from what was happening during the actual race. If it were that simple, everyone except Massa would have pitted under the SC. Plus, it’s highly debatable whether those tires would behave the exact same way on a Ferrari as they would on a Williams... And honestly, who knows if those tires would have actually lasted for Massa if the SC hadn't come out? ☕

Not reallythey're just interesting enough...
Like I said, Joe is funny and engaging, and Pilatus can be alright sometimes... but the rest is 🙂
crimsonstag84 said:You can pull an early stop sometimes. That's exactly what Alonso did back in 2012 right here when those new soft tires needed 5 or 6 laps just to get up to temp. It’s a bit harder here because of the heat, but in my opinion, there was definitely a window for it.
Sure, anomalies happen... I guess we could even see Marussia sitting at P1 during a practice session if things got weird enough.😁 But outside of that, there weren't any tire warming issues during this race, so that wasn't why Massa went for it...
Massa pulled that tactic purely because he was using the "desperation play." He had nothing left to lose; the guy started 16th and nobody expected him to score points anyway... And neither was Ferrari in such a desperate spot, nor was Alonso in a position where he'd bother with a move like that...
Matthew Young35 said:Yeah, because everyone else got chased off by all the trolling. Joe is slightly less bad about it.
Grouping Joe in with the rest of them? That’s practically sacrilege.☕ Joe is a riot. Honestly, he's pretty entertaining and always has something useful to say, even if his vocabulary is... unique.😁
The rest of them are basically his polar opposite in every way, except for that weird vocabulary they use... Aside from Reddit, where can you actually find a decent comment that isn't just pure trolling?😁
cosmiccyclist8 said:Honestly, anyone giving me attitude would get shut down pretty fast. If I actually got into an argument with William Bennett53 or Terry Carter2, I’d just block them without a second thought. They’d lose enough points to end up banned, and my word would be the final one on the matter.
So, would I be fit to be a moderator? Obviously not. But how did some people actually pull it off? And more importantly, why does the admin team just sit there while they go on these power trips against certain users?
The problem with Formula 1 mods is the complete polar opposite of what you're claiming here... That’s exactly the problem. They actually let these people back in—some with their original accounts and others using clones—even though they’re sitting on permanent bans and partial blocks from the Formula 1 PDFs.😍
Don't even try telling me there's some theory where old tires lap faster than new ones for a couple of laps... That thing with Massa was a total anomaly that almost never happens. It wasn't Massa's fault; it was just Bottas having engine issues and getting stuck in traffic.☕ Bokte, if old tires were actually faster than new ones, nobody would ever bother changing them, for crying out loud.🤣
Besides, in Formula 1, you overtake the guy in front by pitting earlier, not by staying out an extra lap or two. > There is zero chance you're faster on old rubber than new, unless the guy who pits first gets stuck behind a slow car or hits some other random issue right after his pit stop.☕
And that’s exactly the point. Kimi would've come out into clear air and could have hammered out fast laps on new tires, whereas Alonso might have emerged right behind slower drivers and wouldn't have been able to pull those same fast times. I told you ages ago to look at where everyone was positioned relative to the "slow cars"... but no, you're still obsessed with Massa and this idea that old tires are somehow better. 😁
As far as not understanding goes, that's a "you" problem. You're trying to explain something that doesn't exist in Formula 1, never has, and never will. You're writing these little manifestos about how old tires are suddenly faster than new ones—congrats, you've discovered fire.🤣 Maybe you should go apply for a job at a team and explain to their top strategist that changing tires is a total waste of time. Actually, it'd be best if they just fitted last race's tires to the car or stopped changing them altogether for the whole season.🤣
cosmiccyclist8 and ruggedhawk20, why do I get this feeling you two would start beefing with the moderators even if they were your own clones? And I mean you’d specifically target your own duplicates 😬
Basically, I have a hunch the drama would escalate big time—we'd probably be seeing full-blown insults by then... At least it’d be hilarious watching ruggedhawk20 try to explain to his clone that he’s just a total nobody.🤣
Why aren't you drawing parallels to cars from ten years ago? Your comparison is just as irrelevant...
Besides, Williams seems to be the biggest tire killer this season. So, if Massa was faster on old rubber than his teammate was on a fresh set, that’s supposed to mean something, right?
That actually proves the exact point you're failing to grasp... It proves there’s zero overtaking in Monaco, and if you come out of the pits behind someone slower than you—like Bottas did—then yeah, you look slow too. Plus, didn't Bottas have some minor engine issue in the car anyway?
Dakle, just as Bottas looked slow because he ended up stuck behind slower drivers after his pit stop, Alonso would have looked just as slow for the exact same reason.☕
steelmaker83 said:Massa was nothing, but those Massa tires? Pure gold.....
Oh sure, because teams like Force India or Lotus could just breeze through a race with one pit stop in previous seasons, while some guys needed two, three, or four... but honestly, it’s all the same nonsense. It doesn't matter that Kimi and Alonso both drove for Ferrari, or that neither of them ever sat in a Williams cockpit.😁
