Edward Howard2 said:And when was her last visit? 😁

Based on what I'm seeing in the mod panel, everything's pretty clear.
Not sure if this info is visible to everyone else, though.🤷
If it isn't public, does posting her last visit time count as me abusing my moderator powers to help out a buddy on my team?😬

Am I actually allowed to post that, or is it against the rules?😬

Edward Howard2 said:Don't forget about the guys from Chicago, or maybe even the folks in Austin (once they make their official announcement)... 😁
all of them were part of this massive setup against you... 😠

you're actually the very first person I'm gonna go all out against... 😂

Hmm, I've got a tricky situation on my hands.🤣
I need to dig deep into the rulebook for this one.

I have to head into New York, so once I've had a chance to read everything, I'll let you know what's up.
Basically, her response to your late offer was never sent.😳
And her last post was before you even made the offer.

Wait, am I actually picking up points here? 😁

Maybe, but Pat can still accept the offer by replying to the thread.

Also, I need to check when he was last online, considering how late you got this offer.

Anyway, grabbing coffee now. Not in the mood for this nonsense.
And my Best man is also losing it.😢

Proposed rule changes:
Part 1
Part 2
The updated rulebook won't kick in until after Bahrain, or maybe even later.
Since some stuff got delayed and certain things under the new rules should have been handled before the first race.
Just to be crystal clear, these aren't official rules yet, so there's no misunderstanding.

Personally, I think they're pretty solid. They add some interesting elements regarding tactics, penalize players who aren't consistent with their offers or responses, and sort out issues involving banned users or those who miss sending offers in the first or second round.😳
Plus, they'll heavily penalize anyone who doesn't take the Super League seriously.😳

I also tweaked the filling order, because honestly, Max has a point—champions are champions, and they really should be ranked ahead of the finalists.

Anyway, I want to know what everyone else thinks, because this is a pretty big shift.
If anyone has a better idea or an objection to the rules, let me know. I definitely want to hear your thoughts before anything gets changed.🙂

I'm especially curious about your take on the filling order. It’s been a major sticking point for a long time, but to me, it looks perfectly fine.👍
7 champions and the Super League runner-up🙂

Keith Rodriguez27 said:And obviously, in the Super League, you've got the results right at the start of the thread. Regarding the rule changes, the proposed tweaks look more extensive and, uh, "interesting" 😁 (meaning a bit bigger) than in other competitions, so we still need to sit back and see what sticks and what doesn't. For now, nothing has actually changed in this competition yet. Maybe today or tomorrow, but as of right now, nothing's been swapped out.

If they actually go through with changes, they really ought to do it during a window where there's enough time before the bidding deadlines hit. 😉
It absolutely cannot happen right before a race, especially since the deadlines have already passed. 😳
Maybe after this round, though even then, the gap between races is tiny.
The first deadline is way too close, and if anyone misses it, they face potential sanctions even if the player didn't even know the rules had changed.

Honestly, I think the best move would be to handle it between Bahrain and Barcelona.
Maybe I'll just drop them in the chat as a suggestion (to take effect after Bahrain) and see what the players think. 🤷

This is the Super League☕
The Super League is actually pretty intense because of all those "tactics" plays—it’s basically a pure mental game to see who blinks first.😁

It’s not just about some guy totally wrecking his prediction from last week with two quick tweaks and calling it a day.
You have to actually know how to play this, and you definitely need to know how to use tactics.

I’ve got a few ideas regarding rule changes, specifically concerning how offers and responses work since some people aren't even bothering to post them.
But I'm not looking to scrap the tactics element; if anything, I want to crank it up. 😈

And hey, if you’re staring at a killer offer and have absolutely no clue how to respond, just pay someone more experienced like a pro to help you out.😁🤣

Plus, you can always hit up the frontier for some advice.😉
That guy knows this game inside and out.☕

And honestly, if there are rules in place, they should probably be written more clearly, because if there's a specific deadline for something, then it's just common sense to actually follow it, otherwise having a deadline is completely pointless, right? 😉

Did I even quote that part of the rules?
What exactly is so unclear about that?😕

Look, everything's already laid out right there. What exactly do you want me to do, coach you through every single move?
You want me to give you the answer to Ferk's offer, or are you just acting like a kid?🙄

Crystal clear. Everything is exactly the same as it's been every single year.☕

If you want, you can reply to the old offer anytime between now and ten minutes before qualifying starts (specifically starting from midnight this morning).
Look, if you don't reply and then Ferk drops a new offer on you, you're obligated to respond to that one.
Ferk can send over a new offer whenever they want, as long as it's at least an hour and ten minutes before qualifying starts.

I mean, I guess, but I honestly don't get how you can't read what you just quoted right above.🤦

Look, the rules are right there in black and white. There’s really no point arguing about deadlines that clearly exist; it’s more like you just can't be bothered to read them.

Deadline is Tuesday at midnight. Don't even think about replying to the old offer before then.😳
Round 2 kicks off at 1:10 PM before qualifying starts. But look, you can still jump on the old offer between the first and second rounds if you want. It’s really up to you whether you play it safe and take the current deal now, or hold out hope for a better one once practice sessions roll around. Your call.

Do I need to draw you a diagram, or have you finally figured out how to play the Super League?
Reddit F1 Super League 2012 in Formula 1 ·
darkmarlin16 said:Then what's even the point of having a Tuesday midnight deadline?

Totally pointless.

element tactics Bush😉
You'll figure it out eventually.😳

Looks like Ferk already figured out the strategy while you're still miles away from even grasping it.
It's pretty clear now who the actual serious title contender is.😳
Reddit F1 Super League 2012 in Formula 1 ·
What part of this is confusing you? 🤦
1. If you want, you can just reply to the old one right now.
2. Or if something new pops up in the meantime, just answer the new one.

It’s really not that deep. ☕
Reddit F1 Super League 2012 in Formula 1 ·
ruggedfox28 said:wait, do we need to get those new offers in by midnight on Tuesday?

Yeah, obviously. Holidays don't change a thing—everything stays on schedule this week.🤣

Just read the rules. It’s all laid out right there if you actually bother to look.😉

Do you honestly think it’s fair that some guys are racking up points just because he isn't putting in offers, while everyone else has to actually play against someone instead of everyone having the exact same playing field?

It’s all set—the pairings are already done, and per the rules, if Max drops out, his spot goes to the first reserve on the list.
Go read the rules. 🙂😠

Of course it isn't, but what am I supposed to do about it?
I'm not a psychic; I don't know who's going to show up and who won't.
And it's not even the first time someone skips a round or two and then tries to jump back in later.😉

Plus, the first reserve is WayOut, so don't think it'll be easy if he steps in for Max.☕

Here’s where the registered list stands:
3rd reserve - WayOut
5th reserve - Bjesomar_
6th reserve - Kimi#1

I am out here working my tail off trying to pick smart pairings and types just to snag a win, while she basically cruises through without even breaking a sweat—it’s incredibly unfair.🙂

That's what I'm wondering too, especially since the Championship and Tournament game is active on the forum. If I remember the rulebook correctly, it says this kind of behavior will be looked into further.☕

Here, hopefully this is accurate😬. Though the odds of it being right are probably 1:1000000000000000000🤣

1. Christian Williams61 5 (30:0)
2. darkmarlin16 5 (21:7)
3. Pangloss 3 (11:16)
4. ruggedfox28 3 (19:8)
5. rosi 3 (13:15)
6. TBF1D 2 (13:14)
7. cosmicridge5 0 (5:22)
8. MAXYM 0 (0:30)

I'm suggesting we just kick MAXYM out of the competition entirely and leave that spot empty, because it's just not right if we don't all have the same playing field.🙂

That’s exactly why I asked. It has absolutely nothing to do with his opponents, so there's zero reason to throw any extra penalties his way.☕

Strictly by the rules—if he doesn't race in the next one, he's out.
And just like that, the backup steps in to take his spot.
What kind of nonsense are you even talking about?
The whole Super League would basically fall apart if even one driver went missing.🙄

Look, I'm sorry, but I shouldn't have to sit around waiting until the end of time just for Pat (or anyone else for that matter) to get their picks in. Besides, what’s even the point of having a rule about Tuesday at midnight if nobody's expected to follow it anyway? 😕 I'm not really following your logic with that rule.

Whatever.😁
Nobody said anything to you.😉

It's not your fault at all, really.
I'm actually annoyed with the people who didn't get their bids in on time.😳

ruggedfox28 said:maybe someone pointed out a loophole in the rules to her 😬

Maybe😁

Look, it’s fine. It’s not the first time this happened, and strictly speaking, it’s totally legit according to the rulebook. Nothing controversial there.😉
I just think we need better regulations so this doesn't happen so often.

It’s the same deal as when a bidder is allowed to wait for practice sessions to snag a better starting position—it’s a gamble, and if you lose because you played it too smart, that’s on you.

Personally, I'm cool with it. No issues here.
If I changed anything, I'd make the initial bid mandatory within a specific timeframe.
After that, you can play whatever tactics you want; if your opponent counters your move, don't cry about it.😁
But honestly, having no initial bid at all? That's just stupid.🤷

Everything after that first offer is basically just player choice.

The way I envisioned it was making that first bid mandatory. Like, if someone fails to send an offer in the first round, the next available reserve steps up automatically in Round 2.😳
