I am fairly certain she posted about that trilogy ages ago, but after stumbling upon her profile again after such a massive stretch of time, I just felt this sudden, inexplicable urge to reach out and write something.

On the absolute necessity of taking action...

If we move forward with malicious intent, there’s no doubt our actions will yield disastrous consequences... But what if our intentions are pure? Does that guarantee a positive outcome? Not necessarily. History is littered with countless examples of well-meaning gestures that ended in complete catastrophe. So, what’s the play here? Do we just sit on our hands and refuse to act at all? Is that how we avoid making mistakes? I find that logic flawed, because what happens if your refusal to step up actually paves the way for something terrible—essentially providing a vacuum for evil to rise? There was a wise man who remarked over two centuries ago, "Evil advances only as much as good people allow it to."

I’ll probably just air out my thoughts here, even though I have a sneaking suspicion nobody actually cares to hear them...
