Which statesman had the biggest funeral ever? in Close to Politics ·
George Morgan3 said:I don't really recall the specifics, though I know my father cried about it—I'll admit that much. But he really laid out all his reasons. He grew up as a child in the post-war era, living his whole life under the shadow of a "Great Leader" surrounded by a thirty-five-year cult. It was heavy. Even though he was considered part of the old guard, even though he was active in the United States, even though he was labeled a reformer... they harassed him constantly because of his family ties and all that. I guess the psychological weight of such a massive machine was just too much to bear. Still, the very next day, he gathered a few friends together and cracked open a bottle of fine French John Doe.

I'm not quite following, what exactly are we talking about here
regarding the switch from cheap local bourbon to fine French John Doe?

Maybe you can take some comfort in the fact that nobody ever tells the truth. Like why that former Ralph Lauren model
is always bringing up external struggles and how the system is grinding him down.

It seems like it takes a mountain of Antabuse before someone is finally ready to face the truth.

And there's still plenty left unwritten, I suppose.

😁 😁

Honestly, I think you’re just some pathetic loser scrolling through adult sites in the dark.

Back home in my neck of the woods near Ivanovčan, women would probably say, "He's such a total tool, nobody could even be bothered with him."

Actually, that union was established back in 1918. 🙂

I mean, the state functioned more like a component within that union than it did during the era of Nazi Germany.
During the Nazi occupation, the territory was just controlled land split into German and Italian zones, where local collaborators would jump at any chance to please their masters.

Robin Ramos2 said:I guess there’s actually an objective and a subjective way to look at length. Objective measurement happens when things are out, while subjective is more about how it feels when everything is happening and the lady is having the time of her life. On average, we're looking at maybe five and a half inches objectively, but subjectively? Well, it can feel like reaching for the stars. So, I suppose for people like you, Franjo Harmon basically forced his views on everyone back in '91, and ever since then, you've just been measuring success by that level of intensity.

Honestly, if your ***** is supposed to be doing the thinking for you regardless of size, maybe the lady would be better off just picking up a vibrator instead.

Aaron Kern10 said:We aren't really talking about how people look, right? We're talking about what makes someone a "real" Miami local, or a New Yorker, or someone from Chicago, isn't that it?
I suppose being "real" means your parents, or maybe even several generations of your family, were born there. Everyone else is just a "resident."

😍

Though, I guess you can always spot one specific type of person just by their white socks.

I mean, we fought pretty hard for this country, just so we'd have to fight for cheap beer and dating, too. 😉

I guess that's why you're always busy thinking about running the damn country.

I wonder if everyone actually has the guts to say it out loud—how Franjo Harmon sent his own guy to run things, someone who was beating and killing prisoners in jail, blackmailing Mexicans, and basically making them pay up just to keep their houses from being blown sky-high

But hey, the court rulings are out there, though unfortunately they ended up being acquittals

I guess people will just be shocked all over again later on when some idiot ends up facing an international tribunal

Honestly, I can't stand those San Diego types, whether they're from the hills or just regular folks
The topic here is about those 1,006 homes destroyed by those rogue gangs who were running protection rackets around Des Moines

dustypilot22 said:That’s not really the point.

The point is that the "real Splitters" don't exactly agree with how you're defining what makes someone a true Splitter.

I suppose those are just local quirks that the locals have every right to claim. I can't really go telling them how they should
I'm just speaking for myself, I guess.

There are over a thousand homes needing repairs from federal disaster relief efforts.

I guess people like you, who act this foolishly, end up footing the bill through your taxes. 🙂
But then again, someone else already tucked that money away somewhere else.

George Morgan3 said:živkati and Branko Stojković 🤣 🤣

So, Branko Stojković has two wives plus a handful of mistresses, all while collecting government funds through that Shield Association to pay for luxury cars and keeping his lovers happy.
He handles his political opponents by beating them with chains—though they claim he gets a clean bill of health twice a year.
But meanwhile, there are over a thousand homes just sitting there as ruins.😁

Around my neighborhood, guys like you end up buying rounds for people who are already passed out under the table, just because they think someone might actually listen to them.
I can choose which stories I want to hear, 😁 like some nonsense about a catapult or being trapped...
I wouldn't listen to boring stuff like yours even if you bought me a whole case of Budweiser. 🙂

I guess that's just competition, free market and all that.

slybison8 said:👎 for the thread.

I mean, helping a Mexican driver on the road if he needs a tow truck is one thing, but I guess it's considered perfectly fine to plant explosives under the house of some random citizen of American American Mexican nationality just to drive the number of Mexicans in America down below three percent.
It’s just politics, nothing personal, right?

I did what I could to help some Mexicans back during the war, and honestly, I'm proud of that.

I just can't imagine feeling closer to some local patriot than to a decent Mexican, or even someone from China, for that matter. It doesn't really work like that, I guess.
