To’s true, though. Milan Mlađan was actually the leading scorer in the NBA back in the late eighties. 🤣
I lost my cool.
Frank Moore4 said:Honestly, that pretty much sums it up. ☕

I don't want to be a hypocrite here. I actually used that sentence to show how dangerous it is to make sweeping generalizations. Most dog owners out there? They don't see their pets as anything less than family. If some massive disaster hit—just a hypothetical, of course—my priority list is pretty set. I’d grab my kids, then my wife, then my dog, and finally, myself. Everyone else is on their own. Or, if you prefer: if the house is burning down and the main hero, the leading lady, and my dog are all inside, I'm going in for the dog.
Michael Collins76 said:I honestly thought I was talking to some modern-day Madame Bovary. I raise pigs, so I figured we were basically on the same level.

And since they already owned the dogs and this happened by accident, they should just be crucified now?
Besides, I'm not here playing trivia games.

I'm not that kind of guy (a Dalmatian).
And just so we're clear, humans didn't create dogs—dogs approached humans first, purely for their own benefit.
You shouldn't break laws; you should fight against things that are broken. No law is handed down from God; humans write them, and humans are naturally prone to making mistakes. Laws can change, too. That won't be the first or last time.

You're comparing apples to oranges here. People and animals aren't the same thing.

I don't really care if I'm "civilized" if a grizzly bear decides to eat me, I guess. 😕
Do you eat bacon and lamb in a "civilized" way?

If I had to choose between 100 dogs and one person, I'd probably save the person.

Thank God if that's the case. Means there might actually be some smart people left in this world. ☕

Me? If it comes down to my own dog versus a hundred people... well, I'm saving my dog.
I went ahead and deleted those posts you guys are talking about. They weren't really worth much more than that anyway.

I’d honestly love to meet the person behind the curtain doing that...

The post has been restored and properly filed away. It’s always been my pleasure to work with everyone here and try to be as accommodating as I can. I appreciate the feedback. I’ll keep it in mind for next time.

Richard James2 said:Is that a technical limitation or a matter of principle? Because if we're talking principles, Henry Cox78 already conceded that you'd be violating his copyright if you messed with it—even if you did it for the good of the thread, which is clearly what's needed here.

Technically speaking. Besides, nothing's stopping Henry Cox78 from just starting a fresh thread without all the gamers.

Because even after eighty posts were wiped, people still didn't get the hint that they were drifting way off topic. Then they went and added another eighty posts of the same thing. I have no intention of keeping a thread open just to let it turn into a conversation about something else entirely.
Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
I’d honestly suggest those people who try to "subtly" plug jersey sales websites to just stop trying altogether.

The third one is actually great.

It’s a shame they put the outline of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on the jersey. At this rate, their defense might actually hold together.

(I think even in the US second division, more goals have been scored using them than anything else http://www.soccerbible.com/ )

I don't doubt they work well; I was just talking about the look of them. Fluorescent orange with neon green laces. And every single pair having a different color scheme. Honestly, they can just forget about it.

And honestly, Nike is a total disaster right now too. I won't even get into the cleats this guy is wearing. If I were his coach, I’d have banned him from stepping onto the field in those.

You all seem pretty funny to me. You won't give a straight answer, you just try to convince yourselves you're right while looking down on everyone else on this forum.
The first time, I didn't even get an explanation—just a blunt response. Now, you're actually threatening me, yet you still haven't told me what the actual issue is with my thread, "What caused the massive drop in the American population in Canada?"

But hey, if acting this way makes you feel better, go right ahead. It doesn't bother me much.☕

Jack, please, don't play dumb. You haven't just arrived on this forum yesterday. You know the rules: we don't start new threads for every single comment. You also know that a 50-point penalty is the standard for reposting topics or posts that have already been deleted or closed. Honestly, I don't have the energy or the patience to explain this to someone every single day. Want to talk about Americans in Canada? There’s already a thread for that. Want to discuss Obama? Use that thread. Just pick one. Don't be difficult.

Out of nowhere—no explanation, really—he just shut down my thread. It felt pretty blunt, honestly. I went ahead and started a fresh one since there’s no reason not to, but now I have this nagging feeling I’m heading toward a ban. Why is this kind of power tripping over users allowed here?

What's the issue here, Topalovic? Is there no master thread for Obama? Does every single random thought need its own dedicated topic?

steelpilot81 said:I think this is roughly how it might look: the home kit would follow that design we saw for Feyenoord, or something pretty close to what Newcastle uses (except for the Puma logo being positioned higher up). If you picture those blue kits without any stripes, that’s basically what we've got here. As for the away kit, I’m expecting one of those styles with the stripes on the shoulders—Puma usually has about four or five variations like that—but I’d bet it ends up being white. This is how I imagined it:

The home kit looks great to me, but honestly, the away one isn't my favorite. I've never been much of a fan of those shoulder stripes. I wish it was just as simple as the home version, only with the colors swapped.

Casey White13 said:If Dinamo Chicago's Puma kit ends up looking anything like these current Puma designs, I might actually cry. Honestly, I'm just hoping for something classic—blue and white, nothing fancy. Just put the crest on the top left, the Puma logo on the right shoulder, and call it a day. We don't even have a main sponsor anyway, so ☕

Man, that wasn't trolling. Every single day, people call us conservatives things like "firebrands," "old-schoolers," or "redneck enthusiasts." Honestly, those kinds of posts don't even make me blush, especially when mine was meant to be genuinely helpful.

I'm all for it. Honestly, I think Dinamo should just scrap this navy blue look—or whatever they're calling it these days—and go right back to their classic blue.

The first jersey I can actually remember owning—the one I kept at home—was this Adidas one (it’s the fourth one in the second row). Man, what a classic. I've got such a soft spot for that specific kit.
