I'm sending an inquiry over to Z%B. I'll post their response here once I get it. Honestly, I hope you're right—if you are, it makes zero sense why they haven't made that clear on their website. They definitely have the edge over other banks if they truly waive the fee under those conditions.🤷
Look, I’m on board too. Give him a shot—you can always toss him into the ban corner if he screws up. 🙂
And FictionSmith, listen—if you end up getting slapped with another three-day ban, don't go making burner accounts. 🙂 Three days without the forum isn't exactly a death sentence. 🙂
Alexander Kern42, give us a thread for more emojis—specifically for us emoji addicts 🙂. I see your creative juices are flowing lately 😉 😍 . Oh, and I’m all for 800x800 😍 .
🙂 All that remains are Jaffa 05 and Toncek—you know, the Mr. Law-Abiding one from over there . Look, speaking purely for myself—though I’m certain I speak for the rest of the Zidić crowd—I want to extend my thanks to the forum administration and everyone who has stood up for us over the years. As for opening up clone accounts? Honestly, I don't see why anyone would bother, seeing as complaints and appeals aren't being instantly deleted or locked away anymore 😍 . Everyone is invited to the Zidić grand opening—I promise there will be food and—well, Ty, I have to say it—beer. I can't exactly host people with just coffee and water 😍. We’ll hold the official ribbon-cutting ceremony as soon as we track down Vili . Wishing you all a pleasant time browsing, moderating, and administering . Steven Reed, the soul-searching dragon . P.S. Please ensure that banned female members have their partial access revoked from the central database; if any issues arise again, they won't be able to file an appeal under their original handles 😉 . P.S. I should mention that I received a failing grade on the aforementioned essay from Parach 😢—she spent two whole days harassing me about my grammar 🙂 :enrolls in remedial English course: . Edit: Is it too late to throw my hat in the ring for a moderator position? 🤔 😍 (That impulse was stronger than me 🤣)
I'm Steven Reed—just one of the many folks part of the Zidić crowd. 😍
For those who aren't in the loop: the Zidić group was just a small circle of about ten women who ended up congregating on the BB PDF back in the fall of 2007. It was all just spontaneous clicking—mostly fueled by dark humor and nonsense over at BB. Of course, there were some growing pains along the way; since we’re all women and a bit too talkative for our own good, things got messy: everything from writing little poems about certain residents to the cult of Mirela (undoubtedly the most ridiculous tenant this season), not to mention the constant drama with chat cards and bans. 😍
Once the season wrapped up, I struck a deal with the coach—a guy who, frankly, couldn't find his way out of a paper bag without a map—to move on. —Mirror 🙂We migrated over to the off-topic section and launched the Zidić thread—basically a digital lounge for aimless chatter, everyday grievances, and spamming Lux stickers and roses for Queen Mirela. It became an absolute magnet for readers: some dropped in just for a laugh, others tuned in to recoil in horror at the realization that women over thirty could actually produce such nonsense, and a few more were just there to see what on earth "Zidić" even meant.
Every single season—whether it was the Farm or BB—we’d just revert to that original reality PDF and pick up right where we left off with our signature brand of pitch-black humor.
Back in 2008, the media—or those self-proclaimed journalists like Parach—decided to quote us in the daily papers just because the season was such a snooze-fest. In a desperate attempt to spice things up, Parach unilaterally decided to toss a new houseguest into the mix—Gregorec Joseph Allen—whom the two of us actually saw skulking around the garden behind the palm trees. Meanwhile, the news outlets ran with the story that production had officially introduced a new player. 🤣 The PDF for BB—it’s suddenly gaining some serious momentum. 🤣 Of course, nothing was ever perfect—not by a long shot. Some people clearly took offense at our dark humor and what they perceived as a lack of seriousness regarding the show, but hey, a hundred people means a hundred different temperaments. Mirror mentioned that we’ve significantly boosted traffic to that subforum, so we appreciate the compliment—though I suspect we also spiked the number of "thumbs up" clicks. 🤣 ).
Back in 2009—due to a rather unfortunate series of coincidences (I won’t mention the beer, the burgers, the onions, the trolling, or the cloning)—the Zidić II thread was wiped from existence, along with permanent bans for a large chunk of the women who were active on that topic. We’ve lost that little slice of heaven—that perfect corner where we’d settle onto the porch every single day, light up a cigarette, wave to the lady at the local 7-Eleven, and just vent about everything eating away at us. Despite all the setbacks—and let's face it, there have been plenty—we’ve managed to keep meeting up during BB or at the farm (even if I have to admit, somewhat shamefully, that we've had to resort to some sub-groups). 😍 I spent my time indulging in top-tier trash TV alongside the rest of the forum crowd.
Given the recent changes—specifically this sudden liberalization of the forum—I’m asking the admin team to please reinstate our little corner of chaos in the off-topic section. We need a place where we can sit back and shoot the breeze about Lux, the Queen, or that local clerk down at the CVS while we wait for the next batch of reality TV trash to drop. The same goes for the others—if it’s at all possible to grant absolution to the "fallen" members of the Zidić crew: jaffa, iiii, misseducatu, oblic, and Tonček (my apologies for the gender swap there)—because without them, Zidić simply isn't Zidić. 😢 We give you our word—we’ll behave ourselves and continue to provide top-tier coverage of reality TV.
Look, Missy is practically begging me to clarify that we aren't just some group of losers who spend our lives glued to trashy reality TV—apparently, my lack of distinction is going to ruin her reputation. 🤣 Missy, please accept my sincerest apologies. It is true that we maintain an active presence across various other sections of the forum—for instance, I am even a regular over at Reddit. 😍
Apologies for starting yet another thread alongside the existing three—I simply didn't want my point to get buried under the mountain of questions already piling up.
Thanks in advance,
Steven Reed – from the Zidić crowd
p.s. just a heads up—some clone opened a Zidić III thread over on the off-topic board :he doesn't know : we aren't : he doesn't know : p.s.s. I had to butcher the emojis: sad face: there wasn't enough room: even sadder face:
Lawrence Doyle3 said:The maintenance fee for a US dollar checking account isn't charged if there hasn't been any activity on the account for six months, plain and simple.
Let’s try some basic logic here—if they charge a monthly service fee, that transaction itself counts as account activity. So, how exactly can you claim there’s been zero movement in the last six months? It’s a circular impossibility. I’m sticking to my guns—Zabka charges a standard monthly fee for checking accounts $3.00 just like it says right on their website. If anyone actually has proof to the contrary, by all means, 😍 post it here.
Wait, are we actually discussing a standard checking account at Zabka???? A USD checking account? Because their website still claims there is a monthly fee $3.00 for those. For foreign currency accounts, they don't charge you $1.75 as long as your average balance stays above $1,000 for the month. And honestly—I am fairly certain they hit you with a fee $3.00 regardless of whether you actually used the account or not. I have no idea why you aren't being charged, but hey, lucky you 😍
I know RBC and Raiffeisen have those little workarounds based on transaction volume, but from what I gather, Zabka doesn't play that game.
Ryan Carter52, where exactly are you getting this idea that Zabka doesn't charge a maintenance fee if there’s zero activity on the account? I’ve scoured their website and found nothing to support that—plus, I’m pretty damn certain when I set up my payment assistant, they were hitting me with fees for a $3.00 standard checking account regardless of whether I actually used it or not.
@dustybear9, it all depends on which Mastercard you’re carrying. If you’ve got a revolving card—like a Chase Freedom—you can always deposit funds directly onto it (just use that 72... number or head to a branch and ask them to credit your card). On the other hand, if you’re using a standard Mastercard, you can't deposit straight to the card; you have to put the money into your checking account first so it clears by the next billing date. Keep in mind, every bank charges a fee for using a credit card at an ATM 😉—with a revolving card, you're also staring down interest on that credit line, whereas with a standard Mastercard, it’s "just" the cash advance fee.
Don't forget about those long-time forum veterans—the ones who've been hanging around for years but mostly stick to the sections where post counts don't even matter. By these rules, they wouldn't even be able to send a PM 😍
Just report the spammer using the little triangle icon. Let's not go around restricting people's ability to post for no reason 😉
Call back tomorrow morning using that same number—but make sure you select the option to speak with a live representative. They’re actually able to look into your card status and get everything activated for you right then and there.
