From the very first second I logged onto this forum, I embraced a simple reality: whatever I post is my own responsibility—nobody else is to blame for my mistakes but me. 😉The exact same logic applies to Facebook, or any other corner of the internet, for that matter. 😉

What I don't understand is this constant nitpicking and hair-splitting. The address was clearly left there to stir the pot and spark another endless, pointless thread on the PŽK. Sure, the rules are flexible and enforcement is inconsistent—it’s just a forum. Get over it.
I get it; seeing email addresses there doesn't sit right with me either. But this whole drama is only happening because of how Medin is acting—insisting this rule applies to every single corner of the site . I just wanted to hear the part in bold, so thanks for that👍 Honestly, watching people try to force this "universal rule" logic on everyone else was driving my blood pressure through the roof, which is why I spoke up😉
edit: Paul Green31, seriously—and I mean this with the best intentions—your constant "defending" of Sasha and his choices isn't actually helping him at all😉 Sasha is a grown man who doesn't need a legal counsel. He's more than capable of standing his ground without you trying to "protect" him

shadowpilot8, check out the hanfu licensing thread 😉 or everyone else can just browse the threads about shopping at H&M (like ordering stuff from Austria) or any similar fashion topic. Honestly—I don't see the big deal in posting an email like steven.reed.whatever@gmail.com or a local provider. It's a whole different story if we're talking full names and surnames—and a completely different story if it's just my forum handle.
Paul Green31 said:Oh, sure, I just had to insist on risking being called in as a court expert for hollowtrucker77 and ZgSashovina, just so he could bury me under a mountain of technical jargon.
So, what exactly makes you think your sudden appearance shifted anything toward your "winning" side?
(Sorry if that sounded blunt, but I don't get this whole "counter-effect" theory of yours. I'm here to argue—that's why I'm on this forum. And I love having opponents, especially when I know I'm right. At the end of the day, isn't that the whole point of being online?)
We are drifting pretty far into off-topic territory now—since the actual subject here is whether or not users are allowed to post email addresses on the forum—but fine, I'll risk a warning just to give you an answer. Basically, by using inaccurate quotes and backing up misinformation about what is legally prohibited, you've triggered my urge to prove you wrong with actual facts 😉 (which is the entire essence of forum culture: when someone presents false info, you correct them using their own logic) So, go ahead and check out the thread regarding Hanfu licenses, or better yet, pull up the PDF of the site rules or the announcements 😉 and I honestly can't wrap my head around how you can act like this rule is universal across the whole site when a moderator told you just a few posts ago that there are exceptions to it 😉 Since I'm expecting you to start trolling—and I really don't have the energy to take a warning for both off-topic rambling and trolling—I'll just say, sincerely, goodbye. 😍
Paul Green31 said:I still remember back in the day when we’d get a Word doc listing our responsibilities, and it would always kick off with:
Moderators are responsible for...
And yeah, that document actually defined how to handle user data too.
But that was ages ago. It's possible someone just stopped sending them out, though that's a pretty stupid move if they did.
Thanks for the advice, but I'm also a grown man—legally and otherwise—and I'll decide who to defend and when. Besides, I have that f***ing flaw where I tend to stick up for the underdog, and right now, Sasha is just the little guy getting kicked around by a pack of bullies on the PZK.
It's your call, though your take on Sasha's perspective is slightly off-base.😉 This isn't his first rodeo, nor will it be his last—dealing with this kind of stuff has become almost routine for him.😍 Besides, playing "defender" usually just triggers a backlash. For instance, you actually managed to "force" me to chime in, even though, frankly, I had zero interest in dissecting Sasha's recent decisions.🙂
Those ATMs where you have to use an envelope—the ones that don't credit your account until the next business day (honestly, I haven't seen one of those in ages)—are different from the standard deposit machines where you just slide the cash in without an envelope; those credit your account instantly. Even if a Visa Mastercard transaction hits your balance before you actually make the deposit (say, it posts at 6 PM and you drop the cash off at 7 PM), there won't be any fallout—no interest penalties or anything like that—simply because the posting date remains the same 😉
To be blunt, I used to drop by the Foodie forum maybe once a week before these contests started. Since these competitions kicked off, the topics have basically taken over my subscription feed 😍 The concept itself is great—kudos to Reddit for getting something like this moving. Unfortunately, the level of concentrated ego on the Foodie board is so high that reading it can actually feel a bit nauseating at times. Some users there communicate with the rest of the community in a truly nasty way, yet they never seem to face any disciplinary action. If those same people are hanging out in threads moderated by specific mods, it naturally makes you wonder if those mods are playing favorites or staying objective. Honestly, Polly, I saw how you handled things with Dlap when the protests about the contests broke out, and I have to say, nice job. You were a solid moderator and handled all the complaints and dissatisfaction regarding the contests perfectly. If I may offer a suggestion—and please don't think I'm being biased just because I hang out in the general threads—since you hand out warnings for insults, you should apply that same standard to the foodies. Honestly, they are the ones responsible for most of the passive-aggressive and outright rude comments I see. I don't personally think I should put Dlap on ignore because her advice is genuinely phenomenal, but she can also be incredibly rude to others—and that behavior doesn't seem to trigger any sanctions (at least not visibly). Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing this to get Dlap banned; I'm saying that if you're going to moderate, it needs to be fair. There shouldn't be "protected" users and "unprotected" users. Either everyone who insults others gets a warning, or you just admit the Foodie board is a free-for-all for massive egos and permitted rudeness. 😉
Edit: Just to clarify so there's no misunderstanding—Dlap isn't the only one like this, nor is she the sole reason the atmosphere on the Foodie board is what it is.
Certain threads get nuked—others just get archived into PDFs where the post count doesn't even register 😉 Generally speaking, it’s nothing to write home about 😍
I am practically vibrating—mostly because I can't find a single emoji that captures this level of frantic energy (note to self: go on a desperate hunt for an appropriately manic smiley): 😍

re: I am definitely all for expanding the roster for the Blues 🙂 Seventy-five is just too small an amount—it’s practically nothing. 😢
As far as I am aware, no 😢 If my memory serves me right—based on what a teller at Chase told me—roadside assistance works by having you call them when you break down; they dispatch a tow truck and cover a portion of the costs. Similarly, I recall needing to provide the vehicle's registration details during the sign-up process to ensure the coverage actually applies to my car 🤷

Did I mention I’m due to give birth in just a few days🤔 and that seeing red text would be just the kind of "mental relaxation" I need right now😉 : she’s subtly flexing her authority here—and if that doesn't work, she'll start bringing up the local hooligans:
I promise I'll slap at least one box of cards onto Jane Doe's desk since she clearly can't find her rhythm.😠
Give her any moderator role—anything, really—just to stop the constant whining: she’s clearly just building up a massive collection of red cards courtesy of Jane Doe:
And while we're handing out labels, feel free to blacklist me in the archives too 😍
My stomach is constantly doing somersaults—it honestly feels like a tiny little knot has migrated from my gut straight up into my throat. I feel full after barely a single bite, which makes this whole ordeal even more exhausting. I'm just trying to white-knuckle it through these last three weeks 😍
I'm here-- 😍 It’s true; I've been throwing up through my entire pregnancy—though these last two months have been the absolute worst. It’s just like that—one minute I'm walking past the restroom and everything just exits my body. Sometimes it starts with heartburn, which is irritating enough, but sometimes it hits out of nowhere without any warning at all.
