I am currently awaiting the contact info for that IT specialist 🙂 🙂 🙂--the one

Just a poor, falling 😢 soul lost in the vastness of space and time... utterly alone. 😢

Could I get a capital letter on my name? Steven Reed?

Sure thing—just reach out to rustydrifter10 🙂

Moving funds from a home savings account directly to a checking account? That’s only an option if you either terminate the agreement or wait for it to mature—and even then, you have to head down to a Chase branch or a local credit union to sign the paperwork. Once that’s done, the bank handles the transfer. You can't just move money out of a dedicated home savings plan whenever you feel like it.
Unless I completely misunderstood the question? 🤷 🤔

It’s blatantly obvious to me that they actually sat down and worked out that new option 🤷
. When you pull up the credit ledger on your balance sheet, there's an "offset" button right underneath—you just click that, select your source account from the top right corner, and punch in the amount. The funds hit your GoCard instantly 🤷—no waiting around

I realize I didn't frame this as an actual question—my bad—but I was essentially wondering if anyone had reached out to Vojko via PM yet. Anyway, here goes 🤣

Someone should shoot Wojko a DM with the link to this thread—I’m certain we'll finally get some answers here.
I recall a reporter once trying to publish quotes from the board without permission, actually asking the users—the original authors—for their consent first 🤷

The interest rate for a three-year CD is naturally higher than a one-month term—it’s basic math. They basically fronted you the interest on the condition that you kept the funds locked in with them for the full three years; since you only made it through three months, they're going to calculate the actual interest earned for that period and then claw back the overpayment from your principal balance.

Actually, it says more about how people choose to communicate—which was pretty obvious during that other discussion, and even over at Chase Bank. At least for those of us following this thread 😍

Click that top field under "Payer"—it’ll trigger a dropdown menu with all your linked accounts, so you can just pick whichever one you want to use. If you’re settling utility bills, there’s an account number section right in the middle (or a routing/account combo, if that's how they phrase it—honestly, I was too lazy to actually set up my Chase mobile app properly) 🤣
. Just check that box and type in the recipient's info. I spent about 15 minutes playing around with the Bank of America app yesterday
. edit:
There's also an option at the top of the transfer slip to pull up an old template. I’ve never bothered using them myself—too much effort.

Technically, you can swap out your collateral—but you’ll be footing the bill for a fresh appraisal, and let's be honest, those fees aren't exactly pocket change. Of course, there's always the chance your bank pulls a "no thanks" and insists on their specific policy tied to the loan; however, I know they've approved collateral swaps before—they even let me drop my co-signer
Mortgage loans and life insurance requirements in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
uhm 🤔
Are you actually creditworthy enough to qualify for this loan on your own? If so—and if you can pull it off—just add a co-signer as a guarantor and that should clear up your headache. 🤔
Regarding the assignment of your current life insurance policy: you’ll get that money once the policy expires (subject to the fine print) or when the loan is paid off—since the policy essentially acts as collateral for the loan. As long as you stay current on your payments, the bank won't touch the policy; they only trigger a claim if you default on the loan.
Bank account frozen: What should I do? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I know from experience—once Bank of America approves an overdraft, it stays active until the next review cycle, regardless of how deep you are in the red (though I see yours was just re-approved). You should probably drop a question over on the Bank of America thread; I'm sure someone there can explain exactly what’s happening with your limit 😉

copperscout132, which bank are we even talking about here? Not every bank follows the same playbook when it comes to overdraft policies 😉

Mark Thompson6 said:In my view—assuming you’ve actually committed to a task (and let's assume you perform it correctly)—volunteering isn't some magic shield you can wave to excuse why you aren't getting things done.
Perhaps you and she hold different perspectives than I do regarding what this platform is—and how its moderators ought to conduct themselves.
Or perhaps the person who appointed her as a moderator said, "Look, you're volunteering here; there's no paycheck involved, so don't sweat the small stuff. For instance, if someone asks a question about the FBI on a specific thread, feel free to jump in or just skip it. It's your call—decide what you think is appropriate."

Well, we can all agree on that part.
However—and I'll reiterate this—that logic should work both ways; using "volunteering" as an excuse to dodge responsibilities doesn't exactly raise the bar for quality.

Honestly, I think you're barking up the wrong tree, but 🤷
I agree that moderators need certain qualities to even qualify for the role—but since this is volunteer work, the owner technically can't force their hand; they have to rely on those inherent qualities (which includes the basic decency to answer when asked). At the end of the day, she answered you—at least from what I've seen every time you've called her out. 🤷
Are you actually upset because she replied to your question by stating she wasn't obligated to, even though she *did* reply—not because the owner forced her, but out of simple courtesy to a user?!
Is it just me, or is that weird? 🤷

Alright, let’s look at this logically—I was curious enough to read through the posts both before and after the one you linked. First, you ask if moderators are required to respond or if they can just ignore you (in the Moderator thread). shadowpilot8 answers that they aren't obligated, though it would be polite if they did, and she actually 🤷
And now you’re claiming she’s being rude simply because she pointed out they aren't required to reply and mentioned they are volunteers—which is a plain fact 🤷. I fail to see how mentioning volunteer status correlates to job performance, given that every single moderator here is a volunteer 🤷. Honestly, I don't get why anyone would find it arrogant to mention they are volunteering 🤷

Maybe we are reading different threads, but I truly don't get the impression that shadowpilot8 is rubbing anything in anyone's face, nor does this seem to be about her mood. On the contrary, the woman stated it is polite, and she is simply acting accordingly 🤷. At the end of the day, from what I can gather, you are demanding accountability from the admins (just like in the Moderator thread), so shadowpilot8's attitude shouldn't bother you—since the admins aren't volunteers 😍. As much as I wish moderators were strictly obligated to respond, you technically cannot force a volunteer to do anything. You can only rely on their decency to answer when asked. And those who lack that decency clearly aren't cut out for this, so you end up in the same position anyway 😉

And frankly, you can't just barge into a thread and shout "xxx is a terrible moderator" without explaining why. If there is a grievance, provide the reasoning. If all you have is the desire to scream that someone is incompetent, then don't be surprised when the admins don't take you seriously 😉

shadowpilot8, sorry for jumping in here—I just can't sit by and watch 😍
Mark Thompson6, I’m looking at what shadowpilot8 wrote back to you. The woman was asking what kind of "obligations" could possibly exist in a purely volunteer role—and she even noted that a polite response would be appropriate (much like the one you gave her regarding the complaint). And no, I’m not defending shadowpilot8 (she has her own way of speaking and knows exactly what she meant), but that total misinterpretation of what was actually said really caught me off guard 🤷
