I actually appreciate that this isn't some overly dainty, feminine thing.🙂

Charles Gomez4 said:Has anyone here tried the ASOS Curve line? Are the sizes actually true to size, or do they run small or large? Specifically, would an 18 in pants be our US size 14, or what?

Does anyone else have this exact question?

Also, any eBay experts out there—do you have a reliable Curvylicious seller you'd recommend?

So, I was browsing the B&B section over at H&M and actually found some decent trousers—some linen summer styles and even a pair of lightweight drawstring ones that seem perfect for strolling around in during the warmer months...

But here is the dilemma: I stumbled upon these beige pants that fit me incredibly well. They sit just right and don't highlight any imperfections, but they are... beige.

Can a lady with a healthy appetite truly justify wearing beige?

...while I was over in the Upper East Side...

Good grief, they actually carry sizes up to a 22 there?!?!?! It’s all Italian labels, obviously, but the selection is massive... and here I am, having bypassed both AV Mall and that specific boutique this whole time, when the goods were practically right under my nose...

I ended up picking up some jeans, a light summer blouse, a butterfly-sleeve top, and a blazer—honestly, I might as well have left half my maternity benefits sitting on the counter right then and there...

That being said, I did manage to find those fantastic black trousers over at Marks & Spencer...

Bella, you are an absolute lifesaver!

I’m not even sure if a photo of my current dimensions will fit in here... 🙂

Honestly, I’ll head out as soon as my kid lets me... And look, I used to be able to walk into an H&M and put together a full outfit from head to toe without thinking twice, or even hit up New Yorker and find something actually cool... But now? It’s a total disaster. The selection for us curvy women is just a complete nightmare! I absolutely hate, hate, hate the idea of looking like some frumpy old lady...

What’s your take on that Takko store? I picked up two pairs of jeans there—didn't get a chance to wear them because of the pregnancy—but I did manage to find a few decent things that wouldn't break the bank.

Anyway, if I stumble upon anything good at Oltre—well, I’d much rather just take you out for lunch! 🙂

So, you're telling me they actually carry huge sizes there??? I honestly never stepped foot in Oltre thinking it was just a shop for skinny people, much like everyone else assumes... Honestly, Ulla feels a bit overpriced to me, and the designs aren't even any better than what you'd find at C&A... What’s the actual selection like at the H&M in the Westgate mall?

Ugh, I'm heading to that Oltre tomorrow...

If I'm wearing a size 16 at C&A, then a size 18 somewhere else must be quite something...

Listen here, you little brat,

Where on earth are you people picking up trousers? I’m looking for some basic black straight-leg pants... actually, let me rethink that... maybe a larger size...

And joggers?

Oh, and a white shirt as well...
Anthony Watson35 said:I hate summer. I used to be all about it 🙂...now the heat just makes me want to lose my mind.

Just ran into those "genius" parents at Target—had two kids, maybe 5 or 6 and 3 or 4 years old. Kids who can clearly walk on their own, right? But nope, they crammed both of them into one of those shopping carts with the little seat—not even using the actual car seat, just shoving them BOTH in there. Like, seriously? Am I really expected to put my groceries in a basket that's been covered in toddler footprints? 🤮 😠

I love the idea of summer, but I absolutely despise the heat. Especially this kind of heat.
Michelle Nelson4 said:It honestly drives me crazy. I spent the entire day yesterday tidying up the apartment—mostly just sorting through clothes, which shouldn't have been anything physically taxing—but afterwards, I felt completely wiped out. I was practically immobile because my body felt so incredibly stiff. 😲

Another thing that really got under my skin was when my husband and I spent a good thirty minutes trying to figure out how to squeeze an older child's bed into the bedroom. We eventually had to admit there’s just no way to make it work without making the whole layout look like a complete disaster (and I refuse to live in a room that looks chaotic). So, we gave up on the idea...

If only the previous owner of this place had opted for a three-bedroom unit instead of what they bought, I would have saved myself so much unnecessary stress in my life...

I’m dealing with this too. It’s constant. One minute I can barely move (currently 33 weeks pregnant), and the next, because I can’t stand a messy house, I’ll try something minor like dusting or a quick bathroom wipe-down, and it leaves me feeling like I’ve been doing heavy manual labor all day... I’m left gasping for air, groaning and sighing just to get through it.

And don't even get me started on the eating situation. It’s maddening. I can't eat a full, decent meal without feeling full after just a few bites—to the point where I'm almost nauseous. Which isn't ideal, considering I find myself starving again every two or three hours.
It is beyond infuriating when I can't even manage to shave properly... I've completely given up on waxing and those sessions at the local spa because my skin is just too sensitive right now, and honestly, I can barely move...
my husband actually had to step in and help me out just now.

I remember being at a wedding in a small town and having the most incredible parfait cake I've ever tasted. It stayed on my mind so much that I decided to go after those exact flavors for my own celebration, so I placed an order for my own cake... 😍

Mine is going to be shaped like a double heart—no tiers or any of those unnecessary frills—in a champagne color. Usually, a cake this size serves about 120 people, but we're expecting around 150 guests (assuming half the crew doesn't flake out at the last minute), so we’ll have two extra cakes on the side just in case... because let's face it, there will always be someone hungry. The price is $0.50

frozengull said:You could even DIY some little boxes for those leftover cake slices you give to guests. For anyone still counting down the days until the wedding and looking for a fun project, you can totally assemble and decorate these yourselves. Here’s a quick look at how they might turn out:

All you really need is some thin cardstock, which ends up being way cheaper than buying pre-made boxes. Honestly, once you start doing things yourself like this, you'll see how much you can actually shave off the total wedding budget.

This is an incredible page and a fantastic idea. I am definitely going to give this some serious thought. Thanks, 🙏 🙏 🙏
