I was hoping someone could point me toward a decent GP in San Diego who’s actually taking new patients... and does anyone even know how to find a list of doctors you can actually sign up with? Is it through some kind of government portal or what?

I’ve already got two from Top Shop (selling one of them 😉) and one from Miss Selfridge. I think I caught everything on sale, so they only cost me about $67. I’ve been wearing one pair for three years now and there’s zero change, they’re comfortable and just... great. Personally, I would never drop $300 on basic denim just because the tag says Diesel or Replay 🙄. I don't buy them often enough to justify the price, though I could afford it, I just don't want to! For $300, I could get a pair of jeans, a shirt, and a bottle of perfume 😍 I think there are plenty of high-quality jeans out there at fair prices, it's just that those brands don't have a fancy label attached to them 🤣 I always end up buying the ones that are skin-tight, to the point where I can barely breathe or walk. Then after just one day of wear, they look totally saggy, lose their shape, and become just 👍

I started bleeding last night, so I ended up heading over to the ER at Mount Sinai today... since that's what they told me to do. The doctor who saw me wasn't exactly thrilled to see me either 🙄. Now I’ve got a whole list of tests to go through, and it just keeps going... there's never an end to it...😢
Look, I figured I’d chime in. Turns out there was no pregnancy at all, despite that positive test... My OB-GYN mentioned they see these kinds of false alarms all the time, not just the ones that tell you you're pregnant when you aren't, but even the rare cases where they give a false positive... It wasn't anything major, just some nasty infection, so I'm currently on a course of Clindamycin cream and we'll just have to see how it goes... 🙂

Exactly... there's no point throwing money away. If it's late, just wait those few days. If it's positive, you have plenty of time to see the doctor; at least wait another 2 or 3 weeks... They won't see anything anyway, so why deal with the hassle of waiting in line... plus, some people even pay for unnecessary exams... it's just not needed...
I didn't even go for my first appointment until I was two months along.... what's the rush? That's when they can actually do an ultrasound and see the baby....
Just a little off-topic here... Had the strangest dream last night. Again. (I don’t even know how many times I’ve dreamed about being pregnant now...😁). I think I was somewhere in my second trimester... at an appointment. I was asking the doctor to run one of those special ultrasounds—you know, the kind where you can see everything clearly. It’s weird, though, because that doctor is actually dead now. He used to be my OBGYN, and there we were, he's performing the scan, and I’m looking at the screen seeing the baby... it was just incredible. Such a beautiful little thing. Hair, eyes, the whole deal. She was waving her tiny fingers, moving around, making little faces... and most importantly, she was a girl. I saw everything... my beautiful rapidrider3...😍 Honestly, I’m tearing up just thinking back on it...
I keep dreaming about her... And when I was walking home in the dream, it was bizarre. I was living in this little cabin with doors so low I could barely squeeze inside... dirt floors, absolute poverty, just total misery... but it felt so vivid, so real. Maybe that was my home in some past life... Because I’ve never seen a place like that before... (and look, I believe in reincarnation...)

Look, I corrected myself above. She was supposed to start on Sunday (meaning when her period arrived, and then you start the next pack on the eighth day, if I recall correctly, she was on Tri-Sprintec), but she didn't buy them until Monday and forgot to take one, finally taking it on Tuesday instead. And she had sex on Sunday, the exact day she was meant to start the new pack. When she found out she was pregnant (she’d taken all the pills and waited for the bleeding to start after two or three days, but it never came, so she went to her OBGYN), she panicked because, obviously, those hormones aren't great for a developing fetus, but luckily everything turned out fine. As for how she actually got pregnant, even the doctor couldn't give her a straight answer, other than saying the odds were slim to none...🤷 unbelievable, but true.
- You start the first pack on day one of your period, then you have the break to bleed, and on the eighth day you start the next pack regardless of whether the bleeding has stopped or is still going. She had sex on that eighth day, right as her period ended. It's madness, I tell you...

No, here’s the latest update—my left side was absolutely killing me last night. I actually considered heading straight to the ER... especially after that brown discharge showed up out of nowhere. But today, I think my best friend finally made it into town... 🤣Still waiting to see if I’m actually bleeding or if it was just some discharge, but honestly, I think it’s—that... She was supposed to start a new pack on Sunday, but couldn't find any at the pharmacy, so she slept with her boyfriend on Sunday without protection, and then 😉, she started the pills on Monday, a day late. She didn't get her period the next month, and well—now she's a mom to a beautiful little girl. Anything is possible. It’s a tiny, tiny percentage, but once in a while, it happens to you, or me, or my friend, or some fourth 🙂 I also think I'm not pregnant, and that's exactly why I can't wait to see the results. The guy came home from work today with a test, and we honestly couldn't wait a second longer before I just ran it myself. It came back negative! (I used an Intim Plus test). So, if he couldn't have accidentally missed a pregnancy when my period is already two weeks late, then I'm starting to think there really isn't one... that’s the only logic that makes sense to me 🤷 Anyway, I'll give you all an update on September 7th, once our OBGYN gives us the final word

I have to weigh in on your situation and say I really admire you... the way you two are looking at this is so incredibly positive. I suppose I'm in a much better spot myself—my boyfriend and I are almost through college, he’s already working, and we’ve been together forever—yet even I'm not quite as optimistic as you are, and I'm still hoping I'm not actually pregnant. But reading your perspective makes everything seem a little brighter for me too, thinking that if everyone else managed to find their way, then we will too... huge congratulations to you!!

I have an appointment on September 7th... we’ll run one more test tomorrow morning and I'll let you know how it goes. After that, I'm done with all these tests and waiting for the doctor's visit, because this constant uncertainty and the stress of it all is starting to wear me down...

About twenty minutes later... but that little scratch was honestly pathetic, just incredibly weak, you could tell, but still so weak... I’m more confused than I’ve ever been in my life... I took a 1step test this morning and it showed this faint, barely there line😕. So then my boyfriend ran out to grab an Easy Test, and that one didn't show anything at all—just a straight up negative😕😕. Honestly, I think I trust the Easy Test more... I just don't know. My breasts have started aching tonight, too, so maybe my period is just coming... It's enough to drive you crazy...

I haven't noticed anything weird with my saliva🤷 everything feels pretty standard, at least from what I can tell... oh, I forgot to mention that a few days after my period ended, around July 26th or 27th, I had this pinkish discharge😕 which lasted for about two or three days... it showed up roughly a week after my period finished. I don't know... I guess it'll show up eventually. If not, I'll just go buy another test... a friend of mine—this was a long, long time ago—got a negative result on two tests even though she was pregnant

My appointment with the OBGYN isn't until September 7th🙄... I just don't know, maybe I'm not pregnant, but then why is it late? I'm not really feeling any major symptoms—well, okay, I am constantly exhausted, there's this sharp poking sensation on my left side, and I'm urinating frequently (though I always go pretty often 🤣), and my discharge is mostly clear and quite heavy. That's about it... could it be some kind of cyst or something? Or should I just buy another test? I've been using those Clearblue tests so far, but I'm losing my mind here... there are so many possibilities, and of course, I'm terrified it might be something serious or dangerous... any advice?!🙂

I finally booked an appointment to get some professional answers, but then my doctor had to head out on a last-minute business trip, so that plan went straight down the drain. In a moment of pure desperation, I just grabbed a needle, grit my teeth, and did it myself. A little bit of pus, a tiny bit of blood, and that was the end of it. That was about a month or so ago, and honestly, everything has been perfectly fine since—knock on wood... If it ever decides to show up again, though, I am definitely going to the doctor properly...
