They were honestly so delicious, and my guests absolutely loved them—I think it was because they’d never seen anything quite like them before! 😉

Oh man, that looks incredible. I'm actually on a diet right now, and seeing this makes me want to just dive right in and grab one of those treats! 😍😍😍
Could you tell me what flavors they are? We’re thinking about doing something similar, but I’m honestly stuck on what to suggest. Should we go with chocolate?? Or maybe something with fruit??
I haven't tried anything quite like this before, so I have no idea—are they more on the firm side, or are they soft and fluffy? 🤷
Hey ladies, has anyone ever ordered a multi-tiered cake that didn't use those separate plastic or metal pillars between the layers?
I’ve noticed most of them I see online are pretty small, but I’m actually looking for something much larger—maybe three or four tiers high. I'm honestly not sure if custom bakeries are even willing to build a massive cake like that without using supports to hold up each level.🤷
I don't have a photo handy to show you exactly what I mean, but I think you probably get the idea.😉
I’m also not much of a fan when it comes to eating fondant, but honestly, I don't mind at all since I view it strictly as decoration. To me, cakes decorated this way are just so much more visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing; in fact, fondant-covered cakes are pretty much the only ones I actually find beautiful.🤷
The way it turns a cake perfectly white, smooth, and—most importantly—matte is just unbeatable. You don't get that tacky, greasy shine you often see, not to mention how much better it looks compared to standard whipped cream frosting.😲
Jessica Davis66 said:The proven solutions like Hemoroidin capsules or the latest Pilex versions can be pricey, but...
Could someone please explain how these medications actually work?
Do you need to take them on a continuous basis?
Does this actually solve the issue permanently, or should I just take them whenever symptoms flare up?
And finally, is their main purpose to prevent things from getting worse, or could a flare-up still happen despite taking them?
Thanks so much in advance🙏🙏🙏
I’ve got three hemorrhoids, by count, but honestly, sometimes they act up like I have a hundred.😠
My bowel movements aren't really an issue; I think it's just genetic since my grandma, my aunt, and my dad all dealt with this too, so I guess it was bound to happen to me. About 3 or 4 years ago, I had them "burned off" using a laser treatment, if that's the right way to put it, but to be perfectly honest, I didn't notice much of a difference.🤷
I can't say things are better or worse, but I've heard there's an option where they give you an injection directly into the hemorrhoid. Has anyone here ever tried that?🙂
For those of you struggling with constipation, senna tea and oatmeal are actually great. My mom eats oatmeal every single day because she deals with really tough stools, but somehow, even at 50, she hasn't had a single hemorrhoid in her life—despite the chronic constipation.😕😕 😕
I wouldn't say I'm in constant pain, but it's more of an itchy, stinging sensation. Since they are internal, I don't even know what they look like, but I'd really love to get rid of them because I'm planning on getting pregnant soon.😉
Thank you so much for such a detailed response🙏
The pain subsided a little today, so I went ahead and took a pregnancy test just to rule that out right off the bat. It’s negative, so it’s either an infection or some kind of inflammation; I guess I'll find out during my exam.🤷
And yeah, I know they absolutely rip you off with their prices. Last time I was in, I paid about $110 for an ultrasound, PAP smear, and a bacterial culture.🙄
Honestly, I'm just going to see a private doctor. I don't have the patience to deal with the public healthcare gynecologists.😁
Thanks again—I've made a note of everything I need to ask for and inquire about.👍
Oh, I totally forgot to ask😂>
So, tell me—can I actually request those specific biopsies myself?
I mean, the ones you mentioned earlier?
Actually, what would be the smartest thing to ask for?
Sorry for burying you under all these questions.😂>
To be honest, I'm just not sure🤷
They just let me know that my PAP test came back fine, but they did find some bacteria. Since my doctor already prescribed those vaginal suppositories, she said they should clear up the infection😕
Hopefully, I'll get results this weekend. To be completely candid, I think I'd actually prefer to hear I'm pregnant rather than just hearing I have an infection or inflammation; if it were that, I’d actually be happy😍
We were at a party about two weeks ago and it was freezing out. I remember thinking to myself, "Great, I'm probably headed for some ovarian inflammation" because of how cold it was🙄 🙄 🙄
I realize we can't be perfectly sterile, but it feels so strange that every time I go in for a checkup, there's always some discharge or some other minor issue. The reality is that this winter has really taken a toll on my immune system, so maybe that's why—who knows, really🤷
Anyway, once my period is over, I'm going back for a full exam from start to finish. I'm going to insist on a detailed bacterial culture so everything is cleared up. We're planning to start trying for a baby soon, and I really don't want any surprises waiting for us then😁
Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly😍
About six months ago, I dealt with a really severe ovarian inflammation for the first time in my life. Back then, I had an ultrasound, a PAP test, and a bacterial swab performed.
During the exam, it was incredibly painful whenever the doctor pressed on my ovary area; I also felt significant pressure right in the center, just above the pubic bone.
The inflammation was confirmed, and I was prescribed antibiotics along with macro-mirror wipes because of the bacteria present.
That treatment worked wonders—after just two days, I felt like a brand new person.
Fast forward to two days ago: during intercourse, I felt this sudden, sharp pain. It felt like my uterus was aching. We stopped immediately, and when I pressed on my lower abdomen to pinpoint the sensation, the center and my left ovary area hurt intensely. That pain lasted about 20 minutes before gradually fading away.
In terms of intensity and type, it actually reminded me quite a bit of the pain from that first inflammation.
I haven't gone in for a checkup yet because I was supposed to start my period yesterday, but nothing has happened so far.🤷
I usually feel my ovulation pretty clearly; I know exactly when my fertile window is. It’s never at the same time—sometimes it's right after my period, sometimes halfway through, sometimes toward the end—but I have never felt pain this intense, so now I'm getting worried.
I'm hoping my period arrives by the weekend; if not, I'll definitely head to the doctor on Monday.
I'm wondering, is it possible for a cyst to have developed within these last six months?
Also, I'm struggling to figure out how to distinguish ovarian pain from, say, large intestine pain. Usually, when I'm on my period, my bowel movements are looser and more frequent because my uterus is slightly tilted and puts pressure on my colon, but otherwise, things are totally regular. Plus, I don't think intestinal issues would cause pain specifically during sex.🤷
Honestly, I'm just completely confused. These things always seem to happen right when the weekend hits.😂
Could the pain potentially be related to pregnancy?
I'm 99% sure I'm not pregnant since we are extremely careful. I don't even really think about it as a possibility; we use condoms plus the withdrawal method, so the chances are practically zero.
Reading through some of your posts here, it feels like it might be a cyst. Right now, I'm actually feeling a little twinge in my right ovary too, but the reality is that I'm just waiting for my period to show up.
I have one more question: I don't quite understand how we get these bacterial infections. In my specific case, I've been with my partner for nearly a decade—he's my first and only partner. We've been careful from the very beginning; we have never had unprotected sex, yet I ended up with bacteria on that swab. How can you prevent situations like that? I take cranberry supplements and eat them, and I take Ecomer, but is there anything else I can do to boost my overall immunity?
My doctor also mentioned that I should cut back on sweets—specifically reducing sugar intake—because it can increase discharge. I had no idea.😕
Sorry for the long post. Any advice would be greatly appreciated just to help me get through the weekend. Thanks in advance!🙏
I have a quick question for Emma. First off, those mini cakes of yours—wow. They are absolutely stunning, so elegant and visually appealing, and I’m sure they taste just as good too, haha
.
Honestly, they look better than any individual dessert I’ve scrolled past online, which leads me to my actual question: how big are they really?
Is one single mini cake actually enough for one guest? On one hand, I know there will be plenty of other desserts and treats served alongside the wedding cake, but I can already see myself panicking when someone asks for seconds and I have to say, "Sorry, we're all out," heheheheh
.
I am obsessed with the idea, and I think they are so much more charming than a traditional cake, but at the same time, I'm a little nervous about the logistics
urbanscout50, thank you so much. It’s been a long time since anyone has truly impressed me like this—finally, an explanation that actually makes sense.🙏🙏🙏
It’s pretty much exactly what that lady I happened to meet told me as well. Thanks again; you really helped me feel confident in my decision.👍👍 👍
I’ve had experience with general anesthesia before and handled it perfectly fine, so I’m not going to overthink this anymore. I’m going to get everything coordinated and scheduled right away. I want to get this settled as soon as possible; I really don't want to be caught off guard by a pregnancy. My friend went through such a hard time with her wisdom teeth while she was pregnant, and I honestly don't need that kind of stress in my life. Thanks one more time.😁
I also have three wisdom teeth that need to come out.
I actually tried going the local anesthesia route once, but it was a complete disaster. I had a full-blown panic attack—first I started hyperventilating, then I actually passed out. By the time I came to, I was basically lecturing them about the operating room.😂🤣
All in all, it was a pretty hilarious experience.
So, my dentist suggested analgosedation. I did a little digging into it and the idea really appealed to me because you’re supposedly totally relaxed, there’s no pain, and you don't remember any of it afterward. Of course, they still have to use local anesthesia alongside the sedatives.
Finally, I worked up the courage to schedule this wonderful procedure. As luck would have it, while I was getting my nails done, I met a woman who works as an anesthesiologist at our local clinic, so I asked her what she thought.
She told me absolutely not. She said she’s had some really bad experiences with analgosedation because apparently, sometimes the sedative doesn't react well with the local anesthetic, leaving you in a state where you're drowsy but can still feel the pain.😲😲 😲😲😲😲
She also mentioned that pulling three wisdom teeth is just too long of a procedure to do under that kind of sedation. Her final verdict? "If you were my child, I wouldn't let you do this."
And just like that, all my hopes were crushed.
Her advice was to find a place that offers general anesthesia instead, since that’s the safest bet. Now I’m on the hunt for a surgeon willing to perform the procedure that way. I heard about a professor from our university who rents out an operating room at a hospital to perform these kinds of surgeries; as soon as I finish my finals, I’m going to reach out and see if we can work something out.☕
That’s exactly what I thought too, until I really started digging into the issue myself😂😂
But honestly, I’m seeing more and more young people struggling with hemorrhoids lately. Just the other day, a colleague mentioned her 14-year-old son is dealing with it. Even when I was going through that whole nightmare, I noticed at the local CVS that more and more people under 20 were coming in asking for creams and treatments🤷
It feels like a modern epidemic. I still don't quite get why people feel so much shame about talking about it; I personally try to offer advice whenever I can, since I've been there and I know how miserable it can be😁
ambersailor102 hang in there, it’ll work out. I had a hemorrhoid cauterized four years ago and haven't had an issue since. I say "cauterized" because I literally only had one, but it was bad enough that I couldn't sit down like a normal person.😲
In my case, there wasn't any bleeding before or after spitting it out—just really intense inflammation. But man, it hurt for days afterward; honestly, it felt even worse immediately following the procedure. I was absolutely livid because the clinic advertises this as a painless way to remove hemorrhoids, yet while they were doing it, I actually blacked out. The doctor just goes, "You'll feel a little sting"🙄, and the next thing I remember is my sister slapping my cheeks and splashing water on me while handing me a sugar cube. I straight up saw stars.😂
It seems funny now, but at the time, I was losing my mind.
I actually earned them during a hospital stay about four years ago when I had surgery for appendicitis. That hospital bed felt like I was lying directly on asphalt.😠
I even joked at the time: if this doesn't give me hemorrhoids, nothing will.🤣
Anyway, the trouble started right after I got discharged. After about a month, the discomfort became unbearable, so I went in to have it cauterized.
Now, I still get a slight sense of discomfort occasionally when I have a bowel movement—my uterus is tilted, so maybe that adds extra pressure—but I haven't dealt with that kind of agony ever again.🙏
Diet-wise, I've never really struggled because I mostly eat vegetables and whole grains. I stay hydrated, don't drink alcohol, and rarely eat out. The only real change I made was switching from using toilet paper to washing up every single time. That's pretty much all I've got for you.👍
If you ask me, I vote for laser cauterization. If you can, just grit your teeth and get it over with. They market it as being painless; it isn't, but it is truly worth it. I'll say it again: if I were back in that position, I’d do it all over again.👍
Chloe Morales89 I don't live in the States, but we had a huge scandal involving antennas near me recently. After an antenna was installed on a building next door, several people actually fell ill. A father whose child was diagnosed with leukemia ended up calling the news stations. He even hired a private firm to run radiation tests, and apparently, those signals were cutting right through his son's bedroom😲
Basically, it turned out the company didn't even have the proper permits to install the antenna; they just had permission from the building owners. They finally took it down a few weeks ago.
I’m honestly not sure what happened after that—whether the families ended up suing the company or not, I really have no idea.
I don't want to sound like I'm just making things up, so if you want to verify this, just look up the local news archives for the Denver Post; they covered the whole story. Best of luck to you. Personally, I feel the same way—it’s incredibly frustrating how these companies can just set up equipment wherever they please.👎
Douglas Ortiz94, please don't stress out; you aren't going to be left with scars.
No matter how much skin you nicked with that sister, it’s still an injury, and it’s just going to take some time for everything to settle down, right? So just try to relax and stop overthinking it.
To give you an example, I once had some pretty nasty scratches on my hands from my dog during playtime—some were even bleeding. At the time, I was absolutely certain they would leave permanent marks, but enough time passed—maybe six months or a year—and they completely vanished. So, really, there's no need to worry.
I've also known guys who expressed their affection toward their girlfriends in similar ways,🙄 and they didn't end up with any scarring either. Just breathe.
