I'm with you on that.
👍 Enzo makes an "immune support" blend—it's got Echinacea plus zinc—and they also have those Vitamin C capsules mixed with zinc.
Vitamin C—either capsules or powder works—echinacea, some herbal tea with honey and lemon (throw in some ginger if you're feeling it), chicken noodle soup, citrus fruits like clementines, steam inhalation—chamomile is the best for that—resting up, garlic, Advil, maybe some throat lozenges...
Hope you feel better soon!😉
Grab a comedy and just chill out!
Maybe just try those medical ear swabs? You can grab them at any CVS or Walgreens, and they aren't even that pricey.😉
Ugh, what a mess! I’m heading off to tackle my life now—sorting out bills, hitting the laundry, making dinner... just the usual chaos.🙂
Honestly, now that finals are over, everything feels totally chill. Life is good. At this point, you could probably drop three heavyweight boxers on my head and I wouldn't even flinch.😵 😵 😵
How about mixing some high-fat milk with honey and snacking on almonds or peanuts?
Maybe you should try swimming—it doesn't just tone you up, but after a while, you actually build that layer of subcutaneous fat that acts like insulation. Honestly though, any kind of movement works, even just taking a walk in the fresh air.
What about those protein shakes bodybuilders swear by? Or maybe hit up a local gym and ask about a muscle-building program. In my experience, hitting the weights is definitely the way to go.👍
Look, if you’ve pretty much hit the jackpot—both with money and just life in general—have you ever thought about passing some of that surplus along? There are always people out there struggling who could seriously use a hand, and honestly, helping them out might make you feel a lot more useful and grounded. I know from experience—it works better for me than any Prozac ever could—whenever I'm spiraling into a deep depression, just doing something meaningful for someone else helps pull me back together.👍
Look, just try Ensure Plus—you can grab it at any pharmacy, or even get it via prescription if you play your cards right. It’s basically a medical-grade supplement specifically designed to help you gain weight.🙂
Terry Gray60, I’m totally with you on this—I might actually give it a shot this year—but honestly, my health has been a total wreck lately (two bouts of pneumonia, one of which landed me in the ICU for a month), 😢 so I’m seriously questioning if I have the stamina for this. Like, how am I supposed to spend all day trekking across campus, then come home to cook, laundry, and ironing? Plus, my husband runs his own business, so everything pretty much falls on my shoulders. Is there anyone out there who decided to major in science later in life and actually made it through? 😕
Honestly, women hitting menopause act like they’ve been possessed by some demon or something.🙂 I know because I lived with one once—I ended up walking out on my house at 20, no degree and no career path to speak of. Luckily, I married well and I’m in a great marriage now, though honestly, I couldn't care less about my old lady or the rest of my family. It's just that unfinished college degree that still eats at me...:🤣
Those old guys will never be happy, either. Even my better half got into a massive blowout with his mom and they're still giving each other the silent treatment.🙂
If you really can't talk sense into her or settle anything, my advice? Just completely tune her out. Do the bare minimum she expects of you, then pivot all that energy back to yourself and your own life. Treat it like you're just paying rent to a landlord. Trust me, I've dealt with landlords way worse than your mother...
And seriously, go finish that degree for the rest of us who are way too old and exhausted to start over...
