I honestly don't know how I ended up here, but there’s just so much info available—it's kind of wild. Plus, I always find myself smiling at some of the threads and comments around here.
People usually try to be careful about not bringing my mother into their insults—though I have to admit, I sometimes do the exact same thing...
If someone just slips up by accident, I’ll probably be pretty forgiving and let it slide. But if it’s someone who knows me even a little bit—or doesn't know me at all—and they start bringing up my mom in a way that feels disrespectful, I usually give them a heads-up first. After that warning, though, things can get a bit heated and turn into a full-on argument... then again, since I like to think I'm a bit of a bigger man, I usually just stick to the warning stage....
Well, damn... looks like my computer is toast... at least for now... especially considering this paycheck and my current contract... thanks for the help, though... 👍
Seriously though, what kind of complications are we even talking about? It feels like we’re all just being blamed for everything... I guess if I were picking a place to shop, I’d probably head over to General Mills. I mean, I assume you need a decent credit score or some sort of established history to even use an Amex, right?
I’m thinking about picking up a new computer for about $1833! I’ve got my checking account set up over at Chase and I’m using a Maestro card... I was wondering, though—how long do I basically need to have a steady income before I can pull off a purchase like that? I was kind of hoping to stretch it out over 24 monthly installments... or maybe there's a specific type of contract I need with my employer—like, does it matter if I'm permanent staff versus a contractor—to make that happen?
So, about two years ago, I was diagnosed with—or well, they suspect it might be—osteogenesis imperfecta. They actually did biopsies on both of my collarbones since there’s some thickening there too! The pathology report looked like fibrous dysplasia with some maturing elements (though that part was just transcribed from my medical history). Lately, I’ve been feeling this pain in my left shoulder again, but what’s weird is that it isn't swollen this time—usually, it feels way thicker than my normal shoulder. Because of that, I finally got a referral for some blood work and a shoulder scan over at Mercury!
I’m really just asking out of curiosity—I wanted to see if anyone else here has any experience dealing with this disease or disorder!!!
Could someone maybe help me out by explaining the symptoms, causes, and consequences of this condition—whatever you want to call it! And also—what exactly is fibrous dysplasia?
I’ve been searching all over the web, but everything seems to be in English, and when I actually find something in plain American English, there’s hardly any info at all... or just a tiny bit...
