Earplugs for concerts? in Music ·
I actually used them once before.

At the Sun station, though you really had to put in the work there. 😁

You really need to check out Che Guevara. They're incredible. I’ll never forget that concert they played at Kent; the energy was palpable, and they had such a great connection with the crowd.

I'd also highly recommend Open Road—honestly, they're better than anyone else out there.

Patrick Sanchez67 said:Give me a break. If you're so loaded, why weren't you at the Magazine show? Or is that beneath you too? Finally, my old-school teenage idols are back—first Cockney, now Sham69. Then you get these critics who don't have a clue about anything, just throwing around comments like they know. They look all polished and put together, but those gritty punk rockers from the 80s were the real deal. You clearly aren't getting the vibe, Ethan Roberts35. Try again next time. Oh, and before you claim it was Ethan who broke up Magazine, it was actually Tončijev—unless you want to try and lecture us on that, too.

🙏

Honestly, don't limit your posts to just this section of the forum. It would be a shame if the rest of the community missed out on these kinds of insights.

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Could you please clarify what you meant?

I don't really feel like re-listening to an album that's supposedly my best, even if a friend insists that ssotcc is their top pick. Still, I'll download the rest of the discography and hope they hold up to the standard of the Dead Kennedys—they've always been my absolute favorite punk band.

Decent band. I've only ever listened to the ssotcc album, and while it's alright, I didn't love it enough to go out and buy the rest of their discography.
How did you all get started? in Music ·
Back in elementary school, my playlist was mostly just Elvis Presley🙂 and Queen. As I got older, I drifted toward Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and that kind of stuff—we even listened to some Coldplay back then.

The absolute peak of bad taste hit during my freshman year of high school, when I thought Slipknot and Dry Kill Logic were the greatest things ever. By sophomore and junior year, I was heavily into Coldplay, some silly punk tracks, and Bruce Springsteen. It wasn't until senior year that I finally discovered King Prawn and The Real McKenzies. That opened a door for me; I fell in love with ska and Irish punk, which I still listen to today. Lately, though, it’s just been Elvis Presley🙂 and Johnny Cash🙂 on repeat.

It’s called Tears and Joys, and it was just released recently.

....and unfortunately, it's pretty bad.

Where did you hear about them? If you don't mind me asking.

I mean, wow. This will be my third time seeing Obrint pas live.

I used to really enjoy Ska-p, but after a while, I realized they all kind of sound the same. Now, they just feel a bit repetitive to me...

I've found myself gravitating more toward a cuddly dog.

If I recall correctly, Flogging Molly is actually touring North America right now. It's probably worth checking their official website just to be sure.

As far as I know, they haven't played in the US yet....
