It's constant—comments like, "Oh, you didn't put on any weight," or "You've only got a little belly," or even, "Wait, we thought you'd have gained at least 40 pounds by now." 🙂 🙄
Honestly, I've always been a bigger girl and struggled with my weight—so I guess everyone just expected me to blow up like a balloon during this pregnancy. 🤷
Instead of being happy for me because things are going well, they just stare at me in total shock and disbelief.
I know exactly what you mean. 🙂
It's even more intense for me since I'm having twins.
Jerry Bailey47 said:The hypochondriac pregnant women on this forum drive me absolutely insane—they’re paranoid about every possible ailment, real or imagined, and they spend their entire day spreading that anxiety to everyone else. 🙂
Personally, I can't stand people who act like they’re building a mansion on a shoestring budget of $250 ☕
and constantly feel the need to brag about it like it's some massive achievement.
I spend my money however I want. If you have a problem with it, that sounds like a "you" problem.

Arthur Newman77 said:It honestly drives me nuts how everyone just fixates on all the nightmare scenarios once you have a kid. It’s like nobody ever mentions the actual good stuff—the joy, the magic, any of it. Instead, it's just a non-stop lecture about how we won't sleep, how we'll lose our social lives, or how our sex life is basically going to be dead in the water... I mean, look, 🙂 obviously things aren't going to stay exactly the same as they were before, but I'm actually genuinely stoked for this whole parenting thing and can't wait for the big day to finally get here.
I hear the same thing constantly...
Honestly, I almost feel bad for them. They aren't enjoying the kids when they should be...
The sinus pressure and stuffed nose are driving me crazy..
The coughing is getting out of hand; my chest actually hurts now.
And I can't even take any Aspirin C, because if it wasn't for all this...

I honestly feel like a ticking time bomb with those big green digital numbers flashing ominously...
And don't even get me started on the endless stream of "just wait until you have kids" comments. It makes me want to lose my mind...
It bugs me too. It’s like they act as if your life is just over... especially since I'm planning on having a second child soon.
All that talk about how exhausting it'll be—give me a break. I'm not an idiot; I know what I'm getting into.
Pregnant women—or whatever they were—keep trying to get under my skin. They act like everyone else handles intimacy by the book and assumes we’re all just being dramatic or making excuses. ☕
I don't go around carrying grocery bags for people,
And it certainly hasn't crossed my mind to do so..
Donna Taylor68 said:James Nguyen5, seriously—you can't tell me that nausea and fatigue caught you off guard during pregnancy 🤣 I mean, I totally saw both of them coming!
Not me.
If they happen, fine, but I didn't expect them to hit this hard.
Feels worse than after my period. Dammit.
But the MP3 thing is just annoying...
Nausea, vomiting, then more nausea. 🙂
Ever since that puncture, I’ve been feeling like a total zombie,
and I used to be so high-energy... 🙂
Now it’s just more nausea. 🙂
Let's be real here...
I've officially started a diet and a workout routine. The goal is simple: get back in shape.

Or maybe you're just pregnant 😈
It hurts.
Not a single one of them helped.
Spent the whole day in bed today...
From when I was 13 until now at 30, I've tried just about everything pharmaceutical
Voltaren, Ketoral, Baralgin, Spasmex—lately, Neofen has been my go-to...
And always the extra strength stuff...
The best combo for me is Voltaren/Normabel
It actually calms me down and the pain lets up
Just saying, the pain is absolutely catastrophic... 😢
Unfortunately... when I went through those symptoms... man, that headache was absolutely brutal. After they did a lumbar puncture, they found blood in my spinal fluid... a vessel in my brain had ruptured.
I really hope that isn't what you're dealing with... but yeah...
Did they give you Voltaren and Apaurin at the same time? Does that actually help take the edge off the pain?
I was on Voltaren and Normabel 5 for a while; it works well to calm things down and dial back the pain.
I'm 30 now... and I'm doing okay..
but there were stretches where I wasn't fine at all. At first, I just pretended everything was normal,
but eventually my mom insisted I see a therapist after some of the things I said and did..
we all finally realized together that I was nowhere near alright back then... so I went through the ringer until I finally decided enough was enough and that I actually wanted to live.
Now, I am living.

You aren't... but you could be.
I was in the exact same spot... except I was the one who found him. I was 12.
The first two years, I thought it was funny. Didn't care. Then I started getting angry at him—how could he just leave us? Then came the hatred. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then the depression hit. Eventually, I actually did become a mental case.
...to’s what I call responsible parenting...having a kid because you're actually ready for the responsibility...not just because you're married, hitting thirty, or finally have the house, the job, and the car sorted out.
I'm thirty, been married for a few years...on paper, my circumstances are perfect for kids...but they don't meet the "conditions" in my head. Honestly? I don't think I'd be a good parent right now, and the thought actually scares me. It isn't easy—it's incredibly hard.
Maybe my colleagues who are already married or moms are right...maybe I'm just comfortable and being selfish...because I don't feel that "obligation."
