To be honest, I wasn't exactly feeling the Gothic Kabbalah at first—that massive shift in their sound really threw me for a loop. But, I guess after giving it some time to breathe, it actually clicked for me. It’s pretty great now.

When I first saw the title, I honestly thought, "Wow, what kind of lunatic actually starts a thread like this?" But after scrolling through all the posts, I guess it doesn't seem quite as crazy as I initially thought. Still, I don't think I'd ever be the type to just drop my phone number like that.😁

I don't see how you can call that a real friendship if being around them just makes you feel stupid and leaves you constantly dwelling on it.

Why even bother trying to prove anything to him? Honestly, I don't think you’ll actually feel any better afterward. And even if you do manage to prove your point, how are you going to know? He might just act like he didn't get it. He’ll probably just play dumb, which might end up annoying him, but hey, at least it'll give you a good laugh. But seriously, if you don't actually think you're stupid, why do you care what his opinion is? And for heaven's sake, why are you even hanging out with this guy? For the sake of your own self-esteem, you should probably just cut him loose. It'll stop weighing on you so much.

I'm going to go ahead and ask them today, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. thanks 🙂

So, I ordered a few things on eBay, and of course, they’re scheduled to arrive exactly when I'm heading out of town for the holidays. I have them set to ship to my campus address, but I’ll be away from school for 14 days. Will the post office actually hold onto my packages, or will they just get stuck in customs? Or worse, will they just send everything right back to the sender? I honestly have no clue what to do here. Dammit, I can't exactly skip my trip home just because of some stupid packages... ugh.

Please, I urgently need some help here!!!

Our baby was born this morning, weighing about 7.4 pounds. He arrived via C-section eight days earlier than expected. Here’s the thing: he cried right when he came out, but after that, he just stopped. Instead of crying, he’s been spending the whole day just... moaning. Or, if I'm going by how they described it, just making this "unsettled" little groaning sound. About ten hours after the birth, they put him in an incubator because his temperature dropped—his hands and feet were freezing to the touch. Now everyone back home is freaking out, and honestly, I can't blame them because every doctor we talk to seems to have a different take on it.
Once the doctor noticed he was running cold, they ran some blood work, and his white blood cell count came back high.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has dealt with something similar with a newborn? Does anyone actually know what might be going on, if this is dangerous, or if we really have a legitimate reason to be panicking right now?

I used to do the exact same thing all the time. Eventually, I just bit the bullet and got braces, and then I couldn't go back. After wearing them for a few years, I think I finally broke the habit completely, so now I’m doing just fine 🙂

Everyone knows me by this handle, and yeah, I’ve even got some photos up here... but honestly, who cares? I’m just gonna say whatever I feel like. If you don't like it, maybe just don't read it. 😁

My dad’s first cousin has schizophrenia, though there aren't any other cases in my family tree. So, I actually know what that looks like—the behavior, the reactions, all of it. Honestly, being in a relationship with someone dealing with that just sounds... unrealistic? Looking at how she acts, I don't think I could even fall for someone like that in the first place. But if it did happen, I wouldn't discriminate. Love is stronger than anything, I guess, and maybe some things would just shift in my head; I'd probably take a completely different stance.
So, yeah, the possibility of a relationship is definitely there. I don't think you can really say, "No, I won't," because life has a way of surprising you.
And if someone got sick while we were already together? Well, again, love wins out. I'd be right there by their side.
You can never truly say "never" because, honestly, you just never know what's going to happen.😉
