Interesting stuff. Anyone else heard about this? Thoughts?

I just opened up my old Tumblr account from 2016—it’s wild seeing what I used to write and how much my whole vibe has shifted since then.

I don't really follow Esther Hicks anymore. Honestly, her teachings just don't resonate with my soul at this point.

I've waded through countless Law of Attraction books, but there was only one specific author and teacher who actually flipped the script for me regarding the QEP.

Once I clicked with that, things started manifesting almost instantly.

Everything else I read back then felt "new" and exciting, but I was basically white-knuckling it—trying way too hard to force an understanding because I wanted it all right *now*. I was just spinning my wheels in this endless loop because my ego kept tripping me up.
The Power of Humility in Spirituality ·
Found this snippet again...

to quote:

''Humility isn't weakness—despite what some clueless people might think. Sure, if you look at it through a purely material lens, it might seem that way, but that’s not what true humility is about. Being humble means recognizing that God's power lives within me and everything surrounding me. Real humility means stripping away that fake ego and realizing we aren't actually the ones pulling all the strings. It's about becoming a deep person who can see the truth and the hand of God at work, essentially becoming an instrument of divine power.

True humility is arguably the greatest force in all of creation because it’s our direct line to the Absolute Truth. As long as we're stuck under the thumb of a false ego, we can't connect with the truth that's right in front of us. Humility plugs us into that ultimate power, while pride just drags us down into those lower frequencies that make life unnecessarily complicated.

That’s really why we’re even here in this material world. We spend all our time blaming other people or external situations for where we are, instead of looking for the actual solution—which is simply turning back toward God.

Words from Mother Theresa;

Humility means:
Talking about yourself way less than you do,
Staying out of other people's business,
Not being such a nosey neighbor,
Taking criticism and corrections with a smile,
Letting other people's mistakes slide,
Dealing with being ignored, forgotten, or hated—just taking it,
Not constantly fishing for affection or validation,
Being polite even when someone's getting under your skin,
Never stepping on anyone's dignity,
Not starting an argument even when you're totally right,
And always choosing the harder path.

Honestly, my ego just can't wrap itself around some of these ideas of humility.
The Etheric Body in Spirituality ·
casualtiger2 said:Theoretically, there isn't just one aura—there are several (etheric, astral, mental, etc.).
At every level, we have a corresponding body that allows us to interact within that realm. Some parts overlap with the physical, while others extend outward—which is why that stuff extending beyond the physical, the part that’s easier to notice, is usually called the aura. Think of it like the corona around the Sun.
As for the etheric body, they say it extends anywhere from a few centimeters up to about a foot (while the astral and mental auras have an even larger "reach"), depending on the person and their psycho-physical state. Apparently, your ET state is huge for your overall health.

It would be pretty interesting if everyone interested gave a simple experiment a shot.
Put your hands together like you're praying, but don't actually let your palms or fingers touch. Keep the fingers slightly curved and a few inches apart (on each hand individually, and away from the fingers of the other hand). Roughly like this (+ spread your fingers out), but without contact (PS: imagine you're holding something, like a vase).
image
Try to focus on the flow of energy through your fingertips and the center of your palms.
Does anything happen? (Try it a few times, for at least a few minutes, staying completely physically relaxed but mentally focused).

I've actually done that a few times during meditation or prayer when I'm totally locked in. Usually, the longer I hold my hands like that, the more I feel a literal magnetic pull in both palms—and like some kind of energy right in the center. Then again, I think if you hold them like that too long, your hands might just go numb or something, leaving you with that weird sensation. I definitely need to test that out.

I wouldn't go so far as to say this whole topic falls under New Age spirituality or anything "out there"—it’s really just about mindset. It's kind of like when someone constantly tells themselves they're the best, the smartest, or the toughest until they actually start believing it, and then suddenly everyone around them starts seeing them that way too. Or, looking at it from the flip side, think about someone who's always subconsciously telling themselves they're unlucky, a failure, or just totally incompetent, and eventually, their whole life just ends up spiraling into that exact reality... does that make sense? I mean, I'm definitely no expert, but to me, this feels like straight-up human psychology rather than something involving "fortune tellers" or those types of people selling snake oil and smoke machines.

Ever heard of the Law of Attraction?

I seriously can't even believe this! The exact same thing happened to me today—on my phone and my laptop—and while I was just scrolling through some threads, these black images suddenly hijacked my entire screen. On my phone, I was scrambling to shut everything down ASAP, but my laptop? It literally froze solid... couldn't even budge the mouse. I have no clue what kind of nonsense this is, but honestly, it's beyond unprofessional to let this go unaddressed for months! Can someone please explain why this crap needs to be taking up my whole screen??
Why can't I see certain users' posts or threads? in Forum Help! ·
Not even about this thread, but I've started getting these stupid pop-ups all over the forum for some lame game. Can someone please fix this? I don't want to have to think twice just to avoid accidentally clicking that link ☕

silentskipper14 said:David Ross3... do you meditate, or perhaps practice some kind of relaxation technique? 🙄 Even just five minutes a day can help clear the mental clutter. You do it daily, without any specific expectations... and then one day you wake up and realize you simply don't do certain things anymore, or you don't react to things the way you used to.... when the mind is cluttered, you lose sight of the forest for the trees...👏

I don't really meditate much. I just get totally uncentered. But recently I actually managed to stay calm, so I did about half an hour of meditation. I even posted on that other thread about it.

Raymond Walker5 said:If life were truly that bad, why would you feel so heavy about it?
If all that waiting hasn't gotten you where you want to be by now, maybe it’s time to stop waiting. Just let the Universe handle the heavy lifting and do what’s best for you.

I think my issue is that I'm too attached to my wants—like, I'm constantly bracing for them to manifest, but then the anxiety kicks in: what if they don't? When will it actually happen?

Yeah, I probably need to work on just letting go and stopping the constant craving.

So, since the whole point here is about rewriting our story, would it make more sense to grab a notebook and start writing my desires down as if they're already real? Like, "I have this," "I am doing that," "I live in Austin"—just living it in the present tense?

Raymond Walker5 said:Have you ever stopped to wonder if life is just too short to spend it all tensed up and waiting for the next big thing? Since our time here is fleeting and mortality is a reality we all face eventually, what is the actual point of feeling miserable in the meantime? Why wouldn't you choose to feel good? What could possibly be worth sacrificing your own peace and well-being for?

Maybe it's because I haven't found anything I'd actually call "good enough" yet. This mindset mostly sticks around because I deal with depression—just trying (barely) to reach the things I actually want. I don't think life is inherently bad, but it definitely isn't perfect. I end up overthinking everything, waiting for big shifts, and then just sinking even deeper when nothing happens.

Raymond Walker5 said:I was reading something yesterday along the lines of, "The ego claims happiness will arrive once everything falls into place, but the soul knows that once you become happy, everything will fall into place."

Basically, happiness starts from within us first and foremost.

Sadly, I’m totally stuck in that first mindset—my ego is basically suffocating me. I’m constantly telling myself I’ll be happy only after I hit certain milestones, instead of just flipping the script... which, let's be real, is a much harder move to make.

Raymond Walker5 said:At the end of the day, it all comes down to the frequency you're broadcasting to the universe. Are you broadcasting the fact that you lack what you want, or are you broadcasting that you already possess it? You aren't alone in this struggle; plenty of people hit walls because they place way too much importance on the thing they're chasing.
When you desire something, the goal is to feel as though it's already yours—to think and live from that place of fulfillment. But trying to force that feeling usually backfires, because the very act of forcing it just confirms that you don't actually have it yet.
Yeah, I know... it's a bit of a catch-22, isn't it?

Most of the time, I just feel like things are missing. I honestly can't seem to find a different way to flip the script and finally get everything to go my way.

Kevin Ruiz36 said:Never heard of him, but I’ve messed around with similar tactics to try and hit it big on a lottery ticket. My routine was pretty much just running affirmations and visualizing myself holding a winning ticket right before hitting the sack; during the day, I’d scribble them down in a notebook and loop them through my head. It worked a little too well once—I picked up a scratcher at a gas station and walked away with fifty bucks. I actually had this weird gut feeling, a specific nudge telling me which one to grab while I was standing there at the counter. Another time, I was watching the Powerball drawing on TV and was only two numbers away from fifteen grand. I eventually stopped messing with all that because I don't play often enough to stay in the zone.

Esther Hicks is a total legend 😬

Must be nice. Even when I play, I rarely catch anything. A few weeks back, I was diving into her methods and bought a ticket, only to win a tiny amount—like $20 dollars 🥱. Not that I'm ungrateful or anything; I was happy just to manifest *something*, but man, I just can't seem to hit that big goal I'm actually aiming for.
It feels like I've been inches away from massive payouts multiple times now, and I always wonder—what's the catch? Why does it keep slipping through my fingers? 🤔

I play for fun, sure, but winning is rare for me. If only I could pull it off like Helena Hadsell. That woman is basically a phenomenon—she supposedly won over two thousand prizes and hit almost everything she entered. I've read her techniques, but it's like I just can't get them to click for me.

Carl Rivera43 said:Writing out your desires in the present tense? Yeah, I'm all for it. It really kicks the creativity into gear. But honestly, sometimes even the writing process hits a wall if you’re just not feeling up to it. You know how it is when your mood isn't quite right? It can totally stall you.

Life is such a massive, complicated thing, isn't it? It's huge. It feels like it's always hiding these deep secrets that seem just out of reach, no matter how hard you look.

For me, things usually stall because I’m stuck in a funk about 90% of the time—just depressed and out of sorts—so I end up procrastinating like crazy.
And honestly, when I'm in that headspace, I really don't want to force myself to "raise my vibration."

But I've started looking at it differently. 😬

Manifesting my desires is a huge struggle for me. Some people make it look effortless—like they've got it all figured out—while I'm just over here feeling lost, sometimes not even fully grasping how the Law of Attraction actually works. Maybe the issue is just my impatience—that desperate need for everything to happen *right now*—and then I just spiral into disappointment when it doesn't.

Anyone ever messed around with this "technique"? If you have, how often are we talking—and did it actually work to manifest what you wanted by just acting like you already had it? Esther Hicks has a bunch of videos on this under the "telling a new story" vibe... She says the universe doesn't care if you physically have the thing yet or not; it’s all about getting that vibration to line up... 🤔
She also mentions that writing about your desires in the present tense is just as solid a way to create.

Anyway, I'm curious to hear what you guys think about all this. 🙂
Alexander Ramirez18 said:If you're not feeling the gym vibe, just do squats and knee pushups at home—aim for at least 50 a day to start. Also, try to pair your carbs (bread, rice, pasta, oatmeal, potatoes) with some protein (meat, eggs, milk, cheese, yogurt) at every meal.

I totally went through a phase where I did nothing but home squats—I actually followed this random challenge I found online 😬 it was basically a 30-day thing where the reps increased every single day... I stayed super disciplined and crushed it every day back then, but now? Honestly, I can barely scrape together five. 🤣😵
