Fair enough. You've got a point there. 😬

Once, over by Times Square (back when it was part of the Republic), right near Vartek's building, there was this old poster pillar (Shakespeare was leaning against it in Vlach territory).
Some drunk guy was stumbling all around it, punching the thing and screaming, "let me out!"

🤣

OffT: ...all this just reminds me of this recent thing where my group of guys went to catch a flick at the AMC Theatres in San Diego, and there was this weirdo (probably wasted) swaying around the restroom next to it who decided—totally logical move, right?—that he couldn't pee with all that gear on, so he just stripped down completely naked. 😁
So, did you end up stumbling blindly around like a drunkard trying to count his own toes? 😛 😬
That’s me! Look, I’m trying to kick the habit, but it’s a process, alright? It doesn't just happen overnight. image 😬

Honestly, though, I never realized it rubbed people up the wrong way quite this much. I get why the trolls and those little assholes find it annoying, though. Personally, I get an instant gag reflex whenever I see people writing like that. 😳
Looking for a trivia team! in Miscellaneous ·
Good luck with that. Honestly, I’ve been looking for people for the exact same thing for way longer now, just here in Newport, and I still can't get a group together. And look, they don't even need to meet some crazy set of requirements—all I need is for them to be free on Sunday evenings and actually willing to hang out with me. I’m not boring, I’m not stupid, and I’m definitely not unpleasant to look at, plus I don't smell bad (unless I happen to get suffocated by cigarette smoke at the venue, but hey, that’s just how it goes). I mean, what more could anyone possibly ask for in a teammate? 😬

Great question. The closest thing I can think of are those little wind-up gadgets they have in some of the gift shops at Macy's—you turn the crank and a tiny tune plays. They usually have a decent stock, maybe a dozen or so. Might be a solid Plan B?
Also, try asking the folks working the gift shops; they might actually know something.

I’ve got two music boxes myself and zero clue how they ended up in my house. Pretty sure one came from somewhere near San Francisco and plays Moon River, but the other one? Total mystery. It plays Love Story.

I can't help but wonder if she’d feel totally different, and if so, how exactly?
Like, would she actually get an erection for women? haha
What would it even be like to carry that thing around... and what does it actually feel like to use it?

Man, she would definitely figure out what guys are all about once and for all.😁
I mean, seriously, I think she'd be way better at actually understanding us.😉

Ditto. Honestly, I'm just as curious.
I was thinking maybe a week, but if that's not enough time to really grasp the female vibe and drag them to bed, then make it three months. 😬
Then I'd finally have some actual ammunition to argue that guys are just as impossible to understand as women—maybe even worse.
The A-Team (2010) in Movies ·
Honestly, I think I would’ve actually had a blast if I hadn't watched it in Italian. I have no idea what I was thinking, letting someone talk me into driving all the way to 🙄 just to sit through a movie when my Italian is basically non-existent at an A1 level.

Just toss them in a box, label it "old magazines," and ship it off via USPS, right? I mean, would that even work?

I haven't got a clue. But hey, I might look into it. Nothing to lose, I guess. 😉
Not looking for advice or an answer here, just venting. It’s textbook season, and I was absolutely floored today to find out that $6.75 you actually have to pay extra if you want a single, overpriced textbook shipped via UPS. The book itself isn't even worth half that much. Total scam... 🙄
