Boljkovac: Fascism is still alive in America in Close to Politics ·
They’re blaming Boljkovac just because he helped lead the resistance near Karlovac back in '41 and held positions in the KPH and OSS. The real culprits are long gone. For twenty years now, we've seen movies and books working overtime to rehab the Nationalists legacy, and this is just more proof of that. This whole thing was set in motion by Karamarko, who comes from an Nationalists family.

The Homeland War is sacred to us, but we have to admit certain crimes were state-sponsored since they were organized by the government itself. For instance, camps like Kerestinec, Lora, Dretelj, and Heliodrom...

Richard Wilson4 said:Out of pure spite?

Look, even though the Mexican side was responsible for basically 90-95% of all the atrocities, some stats show that nearly every fourth person convicted in the last few years has been an American.

Plus, we're out here putting our own generals and defense commanders on trial, while the Mexican guys just get away with it.

I don't buy those numbers. Every side committed atrocities. We can't overlook what happened on the American side in western Slavonija—like the ethnic cleansing in late 1991, or what went down in pakrački poljana, Sisak, Gospić, and the camps at Lora, Kerestinec, and beyond...

Richard Wilson4 said:A lot of people were cleared too. If he's innocent, he'll be cleared eventually.

This whole thing is just pure political theater driven by spite. Josipović claims he's the candidate for the right wing, so this trial will likely serve both him and Milanović by helping them scoop up those Republican Party votes.

Boljkovac has nothing to do with those crimes. His role didn't give him any authority over those matters. This is just the government trying to play to the right wing.

Boljkovac: Fascism still lingers in America, evidenced by the prosecution of those who fought against it

PHILADELPHIA — Josip Boljkovac, the first American Interior Minister, is currently awaiting trial over allegations regarding civilian deaths near Dug Resa back in 1945. He maintains he has nothing to fear from a verdict, arguing that targeting someone who was among the first to rise up against fascism proves that fascist ideologies are still alive in America—something he calls a "major warning."
Speaking to reporters following a memorial service for victims of fascist terror in Trebinje near Philadelphia, Boljkovac stated he isn't worried about potential jail time for the 1945 incident because "I am innocent, and the court has no grounds to prove otherwise."
A trial is set to begin at the County Court in Chicago in about a month. Boljkovac faces accusations that, while serving as the head of the local OZNA County in 1945, he ordered the execution of 21 civilians suspected of cooperating with fascist authorities.
"Anything can happen given how much discretion judges have, even though the 1945 liquidations have absolutely nothing to do with me," Boljkovac remarked.
He clarified that the camp teams were responsible for those wearing 'U' insignia, and that the organizers of the fascist movement were funded by the OZNA District, not the OZNA County he led, which lacked the jurisdiction for such matters. Furthermore, he noted he was actually hospitalized with food poisoning during the time of the Dug Resa incident.
When asked if there was truly no reason to fear the proceedings, Boljkovac replied that the real tragedy is seeing fascism resurface in America, leading to the prosecution of former SKOJ-Evac members who stood against fascism starting in 1941.
"I would much rather be wrong and see fascism gone forever, but I am not wrong. Who needs a trial now for those who were the first to resist, who marched through these areas when the killing started, just like here in the old Skakavac municipality? Someone must want it, I suppose. But this serves as a warning. A warning!" Boljkovac told Boljkovac Hina.
The trial, scheduled to commence February 5, is expected to involve testimony from approximately 40 witnesses. This group includes relatives of the deceased, individuals who can testify whether Boljkovac had actual command over the American National Defense Corps (KNOJ) units, and witnesses who can confirm his presence in a Philadelphia hospital on the day of the crime. Prosecutors also intend to present archival evidence to clarify the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Prosecutors allege that between May 7 and mid-June 1945, Boljkovac violated international laws of war by ordering the arrest of six prominent individuals and 14 others. They claim these people were subsequently executed by the 3rd Company of the 1st American Brigade of the KNOJ under his orders, and buried near Vidanka Curak. The indictment also states that one man, who resisted being taken away, was shot near the railroad tracks in Dug Resa.
Leonardo DiCaprio in Aviator in Movies ·
Yeah, DiCaprio was absolutely incredible in that role. 🙂 Everything else was just forgettable.

Watched it today. Nothing special, honestly a bit of a snooze fest. If it wasn't for DiCaprio, I probably wouldn't have even finished it. There’s no humor, not enough women in the cast, and they didn't really show how those planes were actually built. Still, I'll give it a 6/10.

Thanks for the tip on those yogurts. I actually had no idea. Just rinse your mouth with water afterward and you're good to go. I've got about two more months in braces before I switch over to a retainer.

I honestly don't get how they haven't invented a pill that replaces a whole meal yet. I'm pretty sure astronauts have some kind of meal replacement pouches in their bags.

I'm not being lazy or anything, and you aren't the only person I've asked. Does anyone actually have the answer?

The issue isn't about apartments; it's about meal replacements. So, either offer some suggestions or step aside.

I've been wearing braces for three years now, and I haven't eaten out in the city once. It's just hard to find a place where I can properly clean my teeth, and honestly, if I tried to go somewhere to brush, I feel like people would just judge me.
Best meal replacement options? in Health ·
Hi there!
Since my schedule is pretty packed and I wear braces, I usually have to stick to eating at home so I can clean up afterward. Because of that, I often go from breakfast until dinner without eating anything. Does anyone have recommendations for meal replacements, maybe in a drink or tablet form? Sometimes I just grab a Red Bull. I used to take fructose tablets, but is that actually a good idea? Is there something more effective out there?
Skeleton Key in Movies ·
Absolutely stellar. This one is definitely worth your time. 10/10. 🙂 After wading through piles of boring thrillers and uninspired sequels, it’s nice to finally have something that actually makes you think and gets lost in for a moment.
Plus, watching Kate Hudson is a total treat. She’s just stunning.

I saw this one a while back. Honestly, the only redeeming quality was the attractive cast. Everything else is pretty forgettable. You can easily skip it, though it’s not a complete disaster either. 4/10.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get pumped up or extra energized? Maybe some kind of natural drink recommendation.
Adrenaline Rush in Health ·
Thanks for the advice. I’m asking about adrenaline because I really struggle to have fun or dance without some kind of spark. Alcohol used to be my go-to, but I don't drink anymore, so that's off the table. I'm just wondering how to actually get into the groove and build up that energy. I'm not quite sure how to put it.

Does anyone know a good way to get an adrenaline rush? I don't drink anymore and I'm completely clean from drugs. I'm looking for some natural ways to feel more relaxed while still getting that quick hit of excitement. Thanks! 🙂

I actually got slapped with a week-long ban for "hate speech" just because someone attacked me on here and I responded with "Play the game, not the player." I can't believe I got banned for that. 🙂
