Handball Euro: USA vs. Norway ends in a 23-23 draw in Other Sports ·
Sean Gonzalez95 said:And if you actually believe that, it’s honestly impossible to track which players from last season were playing in Portugal, Tunisia, Canada, or at the last World Championship while also putting in work for Chicago... this whole story is just a joke, there's nothing left to even say about it. If he actually gets hired as the national coach, I'm sure he'll have massive success... Johansson, Maksimov, Brandt, and the rest don't mean a thing to him. This whole setup is just full of holes and smells terrible.

Yeah, I totally buy that story, every single word.
Lino is a total joke. Nobody listens to a word he says.
Just look at yesterday—he tells them to run a long possession with 1:10 left on the clock. And what happens?
Balić takes a shot after ten seconds and, naturally, misses!
The advice he gives during timeouts is laughable. Honestly, I could lead a national team better than that. To quote him: "Play a long possession, but make it aggressive and active!" It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
Plus, our style of play has zero structure. The wingers might as well not exist. Everyone just crowds the middle, jumping at defenders from the 8-meter line (like Metličić did yesterday).
Everyone is just panicking and looking for Balić, dumping the ball off as fast as possible because they have no clue what to do with it.
Then Lino starts his bullshit about the referees. He spent the entire time before the game whining that the Norwegians would play dirty and that the refs would be biased against us. Just looking for an excuse. Neither the Norwegians played dirty, nor did the refs give us any special treatment. In fact, it was one of the most fairly called games out there.
I won't even dignify his tasteless comments toward ESPN. There was neither the time nor the place for it. And who does Lino think he is, calling out people on TV ("Citizens, don't fall for it") just because someone wrote something negative about him?
It’s pathetic and sad, the perfect image of a desperate guy.

To wrap it up, we got lucky yesterday since the Norwegians didn't know how to punish our terrible play. But if we keep playing like that, we aren't standing a chance against the Frenchmen.
How to get by on less sleep? in Health ·
wiredpuma5 said:Sleep requirements and timing are entirely subjective, varying from person to person.
If four hours is plenty for one individual, ten might still feel insufficient for another.

Try establishing some sort of routine. If you decide to hit the sack at midnight only to wake up at 6:00 AM, just wait and see how much of a wreck you feel like the next day.

I personally sleep from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, yet I still feel absolutely lifeless in the morning—presumably due to oversleeping.😕

Facts. It really is an individual thing.

But my issue is a bit different: i'm basically done for the night by 9 PM, and if i don't head straight to bed, i start nodding off in my recliner.
So i go to sleep, but then i'm wide awake again by 3:30 or 4 AM at the latest.
Once i wake up, it's game over; there's no more sleeping, just tossing and turning until 6 comes around and i have to get ready for work.
It’s even worse on the weekends because everyone else in the house sleeps in until at least 8, meanwhile i'm sitting there ready to head out at 4.😱

Give me a break.
If anyone’s acting like they know everything here, it’s definitely you.
Why don't you take a look at this thread on Reddit before you try telling me nicotine poisoning isn't a thing:

View on reddit

Seriously, if nicotine poisoning wasn't real, why would it be a standard exam question in pharmacology and toxicology classes at any major US medical school?

Besides, nicotine is easily one of the most potent natural toxins out there:

So, moving forward, stop talking nonsense and quit twisting the facts just to justify your own addiction.

Really?

Well, why don't you just give this a quick read:

And honestly, you could probably find another hundred articles claiming nicotine is actually "good" for you if you looked hard enough...

So go ahead, enjoy yourself... just maybe try not to inhale it through your lungs, yeah?

The kit runs about $183, and you get two batteries with a charger plus a digital vape
and 5 cartridges (which is basically like having 10 packs of Marlboros).

Each new cartridge is roughly $2.25, which should last you two days
if you're hitting about 40 cigarettes in that timeframe.

A digital vape is just this high-tech gadget using modern tech and liquid atomization to mimic the experience of smoking without the actual fire, embers, or smoke—supposedly cutting out all those nasty side effects for the user and everyone else nearby.

Inside the device, there’s a low-nicotine cartridge that feeds liquid into an atomizer zone where an ultra-micro pump pressurizes it, turning it into these tiny 0.5-1.5 micron mist droplets that hit an ultrasonic field. These droplets then disperse into an aerosol where the inhalation and airflow create a vapor that feels just like cigarette smoke (carrying nicotine for the smoker, but supposedly none of the other toxic junk).

What do you guys think? Any thoughts?

And we're just pretending nicotine isn't bad? At all? 😂😂🤣🤣

Moderation is everything, honestly. Just change your lifestyle, eat better, and stay active... that's the only way to drop weight without hitting that whole yo-yo cycle where you starve yourself just to binge later. It's a vicious loop.
If you want actual help, grab that "Mayo Clinic on how to lose belly fat" book; it was released with USA Today a while back, so you should be able to find it easily online. Read it, follow the advice, and if you're SERIOUS about being ready by summer, you'll look amazing! 👍

Good luck!

It's all about getting every little detail right.
I’d also just add—move more!
Kimberly Murphy46 said:Is it actually okay to smoke if you're dealing with pneumonia? If anyone out there has some insight on this, please let me know...

Of course you can!
If it doesn't kill you, it'll probably just make you tougher, right?

you just have to cut out the sugar, the salt, the bread, and basically everything that actually makes life worth living😁
you've gotta get used to eating greens and working out, doing smaller meals more often, and swapping bread for whole grain crackers—I eat those Wheat Thins ones and they're alright👍 I mean, they aren't exactly a warm sourdough roll, but whatever😉
that's the only way it works, though there's zero guarantee it sticks if you go back to your old ways, TRUST ME🤣

Exactly.
If you ask me, no diet on earth is going to save you unless you actually overhaul your lifestyle—what you eat, how much you eat, and ESPECIALLY that sedentary couch potato habit.
Get moving, find a sport, go hiking, hit the gym, or go for a swim... there are endless options out there, so just pick one. You'll feel better, be healthier, actually enjoy real food, and the weight will just drop off naturally while you sleep better, have more energy, and maybe even see a boost in your libido...
Also, any "diet" promising you'll lose 25 pounds in two months 😱 😱 is anything but healthy.
Real, sustainable weight loss is about 1 pound a week. Anything faster than that means you're burning through muscle along with fat, which is a disaster. One pound of fat is roughly 3,500 calories, so to lose half a pound a week, you need a daily deficit of about 250 calories. And don't try to do that by starving yourself; just move more and eat better.
