Arthur Thompson11 said:Okay... let's get one thing straight—size 42 isn't actually "plus size" to begin with. I usually wear a 40 (though lately I've been bumping up to a 42 since I put on a little weight—but I'm working on shedding it now)—and I have absolutely no trouble finding dresses, skirts, tops, or even bras. I don't really do pants. I can even find great stuff at thrift stores because there's just so much variety out there. My usual go-tos are New Yorker, Orsay, S.Oliver, Terranova, Diadema, and Mana, plus the occasional trip to Zara or a local secondhand shop.

What's even the point of this post? I don't get it... 🤷

hehehe 🙂
I’m totally reading you loud and clear... Have you tried looking for them online yet?
There were a couple of links on the previous pages, but honestly, just try searching "plus size dress" on Google...

I placed the order on Sunday, and then this yellow slip showed up yesterday, but I didn't even get home to grab it until Monday. So, now we wait—once I figure out if it’s actually my little package or just one of those other things I’ve got coming, I'll let you 😉 know.

As for those jeans, though... honestly, you already know exactly what my answer would be and where I'd go looking for them. 😉

Man, if you were closer, I’d be over there giving you the biggest hug ever, maybe even dragging you along to grab some of the best pastries in town 😍
Finally found that bodysuit I’ve been hunting for... so yeah, I am officially hepiiiiiii yippeeee 😁

Stormylynx4, can I just take a second to fall head over heels for you? 😍

Thanks, I'll definitely go check that out then 😉

Just like Pletix, Crodel is actually an American manufacturer too—they're totally separate entities!

Do they actually have a website? I was hunting around for one but came up empty...

not me. some things can't be hidden, and trying to mask them just makes that area look even more obvious.
just imagine what I'd say for my wedding dress 😬 🤦

But how "formal" are we talking? I was immediately thinking of Nordstrom, maybe a boutique in Soho...
they have those slightly more relaxed styles—not for everyone, obviously, but they're classy, feminine, and usually cut well enough to fit most body types.

I wouldn't call it hiding anything, really. It’s more like making a smart choice based on your body type and all that stuff.
Post a pic of the dress! 😍

Daisy, check this out... there are different sizes available too. We just gotta make sure the shipping won't be a total nightmare and actually gets here when it's supposed to:

Wait, are you seriously meddling in my business right now? lol.. I actually thought you were heading off to some wedding or something.. So, I guess you’ve still got some time on your hands then.
Maybe the move is to just find a killer photo and hunt down a decent seamstress.. Otherwise, I honestly doubt you'll be totally happy with how everything turns out..
Personally, I’m always all about those dresses with sleeves that cover the upper arms.. even if they're like those flowy bell sleeves or whatever.. I don't know what your vibe is, but I can't stand having my upper arms showing, especially at a big formal event where everyone is staring and snapping photos left and right.. plus, it's just way more comfortable...

I haven't been to Oltre in like, a month... maybe they dropped some new stuff lately. 🤷
Go check out Avenue, he’ll be there too, right near Marks... nothing else really jumps out at me.
Everything else, like Modea and whatever, feels like it's gonna be way pricier... Maybe try Centra? They usually have more options too.
Anyway, let me know how the hunt went and what you ended up grabbing!

If you're totally stuck, just pivot to something fancy—like a glittery top or one of those cute things with bell sleeves or something... maybe something a bit extra? Pair that with black skinny pants and some nice flats or shoes down below.

Is Crodel just some brand Badić uses over at Pletix?

Oh hey, I see there's one in my city too, though I’ve actually never stepped foot inside... 😉I'll probably head over and check it out sometime soon, then I'll let you guys know what I think.

thanks so much 😉

So, what even is Pletix, and where did they vanish to? 🤷

hey, if you could fill out this survey, it'll only take like a few minutes 😁

yeah, totally. hey, just hit me up with the results or maybe a link once you've gathered everything... if that's cool with you 😉

Also, just wanted to toss another question into the mix regarding tankinis—specifically looking for ones with underwire (size 50 and E cups).
I checked out some stuff over at Ann Taylor, and honestly, they have a pretty decent selection, but everything is sitting at $70 or more, which is just way too steep for me. I’m trying to grab at least two of them, preferably those slimmer styles, you know? Not those baggy ones that look like little sundresses.
If anyone has any good eBay links or similar sites, please send them my way!😉

Size 42 to 44 isn't even "plus size" 🙂
