Honestly, I've always had trouble staying on my feet because my blood pressure runs low—but now? It feels like it's practically zero, especially if it gets hot or if there isn't enough airflow in the room. So, yeah... I wouldn't exactly want to risk passing out!

I’ll speak for myself here and say things were actually easier for me regarding standing back then. The bigger question is just how you’re feeling overall.
At the end of the day, there isn't a single pregnant woman out there who finds standing around waiting to be a fun time.
Let’s be real here—being four or five months along isn't exactly an endurance test when it comes to standing up. But once you hit that ninth month, with your legs swelling and that heavy, constant pressure in your gut, every single second spent on your feet feels like a countdown to a breakdown. It creates this restless, uncomfortable tension where I honestly feel like if they don't let me sit down soon, I’m just going to walk out. I mean, seriously, it's not physically possible.
Dana Brown8 said:That was my exact experience at the clinic today. I actually mentioned this on the previous thread. It was pathetic. Honestly, I felt too guilty to say anything because I managed to snag one of the few decent seats available.

That’s how it went for me. Usually, my husband doesn't come along because he can't get away from work, but once, when he did go, he actually stood up for me. I just hope people all over the US are following this thread at least! For heaven's sake, show some respect for pregnant women.
At the local Walmart, there’s one of those express lanes specifically marked for pregnant women and people with disabilities.
Suddenly, this old lady cutting in front of me decided she absolutely had to inspect every single pack of gum, soda, and even the condoms on the shelves right by the register before she could actually pay.🙂

So, we were out in downtown Chicago last night, just grabbing drinks, and the hostesses at the pub where we were sitting were basically interrogating us. Every single one of them. They wanted to know everything—my actual delivery date, if it’s a boy or girl, if we’ve even finished setting up the nursery... 🤷
I mean, I get it, they were probably just trying to be friendly, but still!

😂Sorry, but maybe they were just checking if you had everything ready because they wanted to buy you a gift.

Then yesterday, three different people cornered me about my belly within a thirty-minute window. And not just a glance, either—they were actually poking at it.

I ended up telling one of them she should probably just make her own baby so she could pet her own stomach instead. 😈

Then my husband walks up and catches me mid-sentence, and I just snapped at him to let's just get out of there.

And don't even get me started on the questions: "Do you have any pregnancy cravings?" "No vomiting?" "Is the baby kicking?" "Is it sleeping right now?" Just... please, people, give me some space! 🙂
I remember standing in line at the checkout once, keeping a perfectly respectful distance from the next person, when this old guy just brushes right past me like I’m invisible and starts dumping his groceries on the belt. It was like I was nothing more than a piece of store decor to him. Honestly, it's a miracle I didn't lose my cool and start yelling right then and there.
Hannah Lewis2 said:Man, dealing with people at a Target. As customers. It’s a whole different breed of thick-skinned jerks, honestly. That's why I don't bother going there anymore.

So, what’s the verdict from these ladies? 🍿
I why is it that most people you meet when you're pregnant can't seem to stick to a normal conversation? Instead, it’s always some unsolicited commentary about whether you'll be able to breastfeed because of your chest size, or warnings about how you shouldn't bend over, or don't do this, or don't do that—it’s relentless 🙂 honestly, I might as well just tape myself to a piece of plywood and walk around like a rigid board, and as for the whole situation with my breasts, it’s just 😂
I’m my own biggest headache 🙂
🤷
mellowranger16, I'm with you on this one.
Don't go hanging out with animals too much; the kid might actually start picking up their habits 🙂
I’ve got this one thought circling my head that I can’t even bring myself to put into words—because if I actually admitted to having a stalker, everyone would immediately know exactly who we're talking about, and nobody would ever say something like that out loud.
And that whole "don't buy anything before the baby arrives" advice? It drives me up the wall. If I followed that logic, my husband wouldn't be able to pick up a single thing without throwing a massive tantrum within forty-eight hours.
Everyone keeps asking me if I’m dealing with morning sickness, as if my stomach being a disaster zone is somehow the most critical metric of pregnancy. Look, I feel pretty lousy, hellooooo 😛 , but my BMI is fine.
How does ovulation actually work with the ovaries... is it just one ovary every month, alternating back and forth or what? I'm trying to get pregnant right now, and currently, the left side is active while the right one isn't anymore... so I'm wondering if it’s actually possible to just skip ovulation entirely?

Even though my doctor told me I probably wasn't ovulating, I mentioned that I track my basal temperature and cervical mucus—once I said that, she suddenly told me there was nothing to worry about.
Right now I'm taking Vitex and hoping things look better by my next ultrasound.
Besides, if it's just one ovary with a cyst, the other one should be working fine—so I don't see it being an obstacle to getting pregnant. Actually, I'm planning to conceive too, and I'm not stressing it... especially since your situation sounds way more intense than mine.🙂

I don't know, I've stopped tracking my basal ovulation or even bothering with the test strips lately.
So, how exactly does your period work? Is mine running late too? It’s never been like this before.
I know the second egg is free. Honestly, I’m feeling a little skeptical about that.
I used to think everything was so straightforward—like knowing ovulation always happens exactly fourteen days after conception, just like following a textbook rule. Now, even that basic certainty has slipped through my fingers. It’s funny how the things you once considered absolute facts end up feeling like total guesswork.

The chat died down.
I can't seem to find a specific thread to jump into, so I'll just throw this out here.
A few months back, I went to see Ginić because my period was running late, and they found a clear cyst on my right ovary, about 2.5 cm. They didn't give me any specifics on what kind it was.
Since then, I've had a really light, scanty period, and now things are lagging again.
I’m planning on trying to conceive soon, and I'm stuck wondering how much this cyst actually interferes with everything. Does ovulation just carry on as usual regardless, or does a cyst like this act as a roadblock? Has anyone else dealt with something similar?
I’m starting this thread because I only have a surface-level understanding of testosterone and how it functions as a male hormone.
I don't really grasp its specific role when it comes to women,
but I'm looking for insight into what low testosterone levels actually mean.
What am I looking at here?

I had my levels checked, and while the standard range sits between 0.29 and 1.67, mine came back at a measly 0.087.

My cycles have always been predictable, but lately, they’ve become completely irregular and chaotic. Since my goal is to eventually conceive, I need to know how much of a factor this hormone plays in fertility—is this a major hurdle or just a minor detail?
Grab a test for about $6.75 and you’ll have your answer right there.
If you're pregnant, it'll tell you; if not, it won't.
stormypanther9 said:I’m not entirely sure if this is the right thread, so bear with me if I’m off base... anyway, my cycle has been all over the place lately. It usually runs about 33 to 36 days, but for the last two months, it’s dropped to 24. My last period started on the evening of July 6th, and my partner and I had sex on the 9th—we don't use protection. Since that first time, we've basically been at it every single night for the last 15 days straight (and yeah, let's just say things have been pretty busy 😁). Logic tells me I was definitely ovulating during all that action, so I’m wondering how early I can take a pregnancy test? Which one actually works before my period is due? Based on my new schedule, I'm expecting it in about 6 days, though given our marathon sessions, I’m crossing my fingers that isn't the case! Or is it better to just go get a blood test? If so, how many days before my expected period could I do that? Also, my OB-GYN is currently away on vacation, so does anyone know a decent clinic in the area that won't absolutely rob me blind?

P.S. I want a baby more than anything in the world 🙂

Just grab a test from CVS or Walgreens and try using your first morning urine.
It might show a faint line if there's a positive result, but if it's still negative, it doesn't mean anything yet.
Good luck! Let us know how it goes🙂
So, you’re saying there was unprotected contact back on May 26th?
I mean, is that even feasible... maybe if the odds were stacked heavily against you... were you with M. at that time? And regarding her stopping suddenly 🤷

Look, if you're actually trying to conceive and you're ready for the responsibility, then by all means, ditch the condoms. Just head over to wannabe
