Nancy Hughes7 said:And I bet every single bank asks for it. When we took out our last loan back in 2008, they required the exact same thing.
I wouldn't go that far—my sister just grabbed a loan from Bank of America a few days ago and nobody asked her for any of that. It wasn't even through their main branch.
Alright, looking through the recent posts here, I don't really get the vibe that they're actually asking for it... someone even mentioned they aren't looking for anything special compared to what other banks are offering.
I've already stopped by a few different places, and honestly, nobody even brought it up. We weren't even trying to pull any stunts—we were just checking in on interest rates and general info.
Bank of America is my main account, but their rates are pretty steep.
It seems like everything just depends on which branch you walk into and what kind of banker you happen to deal with that day.
frozenmason642 said:I don't know, I wasn't exactly looking to jump ship from my old bank either, but I guess they just offered me a better rate since I was already a client.
Yeah, exactly what I figured. We'll see how it plays out... maybe one of us will end up switching over to them. We don't have any loans or credit cards right now. I used to dip into my overdraft a bit (not anymore), but from what I've gathered, if it's just an authorized overdraft, it shouldn't be an issue.
So they check everything, right? Do you know if I can, like, hit up two or three different banks in a single week to shop around for the best deal before deciding? Asking because of the credit score checks and all that. I'm not sure if this is even true, but I heard there's a waiting period—like, if you run a credit check today, you might have to wait a while before you can do it again? Is that actually how it works?
frozenmason642 said:Yeah, I guess you could say that—I actually had my loan approved about two weeks ago.
From what I can tell, their rates look decent—both for existing customers and new folks. But we aren't even with them; we're stuck with unknown, and their interest rates are honestly pretty steep. And honestly? I’d probably just stay put with unknown anyway—dealing with the headache of switching everything over right now because of this loan would be a total nightmare.
It’s been ages since anyone posted here, but whatever—I’ll give it a shot and see if anyone actually replies.
So, I got prescriptions for both Logest and Yasmin, and obviously went with Logest because it was cheaper. I’ve used Yasmin before and felt totally fine on it.
But man, last night I woke up with this killer stomach ache and I feel absolutely trashed right now. Logest is definitely not doing it for me. It's my fourth day on it. My question is,
Can I just switch over to Yasmin starting today? I already went ahead and picked the pills up... hoping someone can weigh in.

You gotta be more specific here—why did you even get bloodwork done and what are the actual numbers? Like, give us the specific values. We can't help you without the data.
The hepatitis results look fine—clearly shows you're vaccinated and protected against Hepatitis B.
As for the OGTT: why the heck did you take it? Any symptoms? Are you pregnant?
I had the OGTT because I'm planning on doing IVF, so my fertility doctor requested it. Other than that, I don't have any issues.
I also got my hepatitis markers checked (I was vaccinated back in late 2011)
I went to a private clinic in downtown Chicago to get the markers done and everything came back negative—so much so that I actually pushed my primary care doctor at the local clinic to re-run the tests because I was convinced my body had rejected the vaccine or something. So, is this okay now????
HBsAg, Anti-HBc total (IgG+IgM), Anti-HBc IgM, HBeAg, Anti-HBe, Anti-HAV, Anti-HAV IgM, Anti-HCV all negative except for anti-HBs positive >1000 IU/L
Is it actually possible for someone who finished their Hepatitis B vaccine series (three doses over six months) to still test negative for anti-HBs????? The shots started back in late 2011.
Has anyone else noticed that EVINE DROPS aren't even the same anymore? Like, seriously... I grabbed a new bottle at the pharmacy yesterday and when I took them, they felt way weaker—thank God I still had my old box left so I could actually compare the ingredients. And get this... old box (bought a month ago): agnus castus fruit 100%, drops contain 60% ethyl alcohol.... take 40 drops in the morning
NEW BOX (bought yesterday): lady's mantle (alchemilla vulgaris, herb) 90%, AGNUS CASTUS FRUIT (agnus castus, fructus) 10%, drops contain 60% ethyl alcohol.... take 30 drops in the morning—which means you're getting way less of the actual fruit, like 20 mg less than the old stuff!!!
You don't need any special prep for a peripheral blood smear—no fasting required. If you're dealing with any underlying health issues or taking specific meds, though, just double-check with the lab staff first.
Hi again,
It’s honestly tough to say much when the results are this thin.
I’m with you, though—this report feels incomplete. It looks like they didn't get enough material to work with (just a few scattered epithelial cells), and since those cells are exactly what they need to examine for shape and structure, the whole thing is a bit useless. That's probably why they suggested a re-do—depending on why the biopsy was ordered and what the ultrasound showed, repeating the procedure might be the only way to get a clear answer.
The ultrasound from last month supposedly showed a suspected fibroadenoma—I go for regular ultrasounds, so that's why I had the biopsy to confirm... but honestly, I'm thinking they just didn't grab enough tissue, which is why the report is so vague. I should probably just go back and redo everything just so I can finally stop worrying about it.
Can someone please weigh in on this biopsy? I know this isn't exactly the right forum for it—nobody seems to be talking about fibroadenomas here anyway—but sorry, I’m just freaking out and really need an opinion!
Biopsy from the left breast Cytology results: The smear shows a few scattered epithelial cells, some showing atypia, along with peripheral blood. Recommendation: Consider repeating the procedure.
Hey, what's up? Just hanging out—not that anyone actually cares. What's the deal with everything lately? Just another day in this mess. kaže: How many times a day were you knocking back vodka—and how long does that stuff actually stay in your system before you're "functional" again? Hey, have you ever tried drinking raspberry leaf during your period? I heard it can actually lighten things up—like, if you usually deal with heavy flows, maybe it helps dial them back a bit? If you’ve actually used it before, let me know—I need the real scoop. 😉
So, I was sipping on nettle tea every single morning for four months straight—basically swapped my morning coffee for one cup a day—throughout my entire cycle. I would’ve kept going, but I had to head out for the summer season at the beach where work was non-stop and there was zero way to brew and strain stuff properly. Before this, my period was a seven-day nightmare—heavy, painful, totally useless for a week. But after just one month of the tea? It dropped to five days, less bleeding, way less pain, until the cramps basically vanished. Now, I haven't touched the stuff in three months, and it's day four of my cycle right now... zero pain. It feels weird, especially since I've been hitting the gym regularly lately, which used to be a total impossibility. I don't know—I know it doesn't work for everyone, but I went with nettle because, let's face it, it's cheap.$3.75 So, you go to the pharmacy and that one box costs you like a month or even a month and a half's worth of cash—insane, right? Still, maybe worth a shot... I mean, every med or supplement hits everyone differently anyway. If you give it a go, let me know how it actually works for you. 😉
Thanks for the reply... I actually picked up some yesterday and already started sipping it. I'm on day 4 of my period right now... honestly, it was huge hearing this from you because someone else claimed you shouldn't drink it while you're actually menstruating, so people are totally split on that... but hearing your firsthand experience means a lot. I'll probably toss some Eve's drops in there too—worth a try. The tea tastes fine to me. I'll definitely let you know how it goes. 😉
quietcobra52 said:Just dropping in because I was hanging out here about five months ago. Haven't touched the chasteberry tea in three months—but get this—zero period cramps. It’s honestly wild since, before, there was basically no way I could even go to a festival or leave the house without being stuck in bed in agony. Definitely grabbing more of the stuff next month to start back up again... it seriously works.
So how often were you drinking the tea during the day? And how long are you even allowed to take it?? did you take it while you were actually on your period??? I heard raspberry leaf can lighten cycles—like, if you usually have really heavy flows, maybe they aren't as bad anymore? If you've tried it, let me know what you think firsthand 😉
Brenda Garcia4 said:Jonathan Edwards5, listen... I was taking that Nocturak oil from Callivite, which goes for about $44 if you’re a member. I took it for three months straight and then—boom—I got pregnant. I was doing three pills a day right after meals, consistently. I even tried the stuff from CVS, but honestly? Zero results. So, I started on birth control, but I didn't want to stay on it forever. I heard about Maca Harmoni, so I called a consultation center. They weren't super helpful at first, just gave me a doctor's cell number—you know, that Dr. Stefan E. guy they show on TV? Well, he recommended Maca Harmoni. After talking for a long time, I have to say, he was the first gynecologist who actually listened to me, answered my questions, and explained everything I was worried about. Usually, I’ve been paying upwards of $150 for every single checkup and consultation, and all they’d do was shrug their shoulders and tell me birth control was my only option. Anyway, girls, I decided to follow this experienced guy's lead. He gave me specific instructions on how many pills to take monthly versus right before my period, and he even suggested taking a 300 mg Advil for a couple of days before my cycle starts. Once I finish my last birth control pill, I'm switching over to Maca Harmoni. I mean, I don't really have anything to lose, right? And I’m supposed to check back in with him once I see some progress. He left such a good impression on me because he actually paid attention, calmed me down, and offered a real solution. If any of you are looking for the same kind of advice, I definitely recommend reaching out to him. If you need his contact info, let me know. I'll keep you guys posted on the results.
Thanks so much for the detailed reply... I've heard of Feminesses, so I'll definitely look into it more. I might even run it by my own OB-GYN since she's actually pretty decent and really cares about her patients... though, obviously, all of this costs money. 🙄
Jamie Gomez5 said:Yeah, they're essentially the same thing. I don't know how you handle pills, and I haven't tried the ones from CVS myself, but I think some girls mentioned that the Solgar ones have twice the dosage of Natural Wealth. I believe people here said the CVS brands are fine to take.😉
Thanks... I guess I'll have to take a much closer look at everything then. 😉
Jamie Gomez5 said:What was the reason she recommended them to you? They work for some people, but they didn't help me. I tried brands like Solgar and NW, and neither did anything. Vitex helped me, though; I just needed something to regulate my cycle.
I usually have pretty regular cycles—like 28 or 29 days—but ever since I got back from vacation this summer, everything’s gone totally haywire... honestly, I can't even remember the last time my period was late. At 30 DC and 35 DC, I took pregnancy tests that came back negative, so I called my OB immediately. She squeezed me in right away and an ultrasound showed a clear cyst. Since I hadn't been in for a checkup in four months (including my Pap smear, which was all good), she put me on Duphaston for 10 days—which I just finished—to help regulate things and ease the PMS. She also mentioned Eve's drops... I already picked those up; they're bitter, but not too bad. Now I'm just wondering which evening primrose oil is worth getting... are those ones from CVS even any good?????
Sorry for the novel here, just wanted to give you the full story since you asked what the issue was... anyway, I've only had one ovarian cyst before, and that was ages ago. Are those Vitex capsules basically the same thing as Eve's drops????
Gerald Cook4tells me taking Normabel along with 600mg Ibuprofen at night helps me actually get some sleep.... during the day I try to hold off and only take them when the pain hits—but honestly, the ache never really goes away... it's just always there... it's awful....
Brenda Garcia4.... my gynecologist suggested evening primrose oil mixed with Vitamin E and B... I have no clue which ones to pick and they’re pretty pricey... some are like $17 for a month's supply at CVS..... Has anyone actually tried these? Please let me know.... my cramps and PMS are absolute torture....
