I’ll be the first to admit it: I messed up. I’m guilty as charged. Now the big question is... can I actually make it to The Hague? Honestly, if I have a choice, I’d much rather deal with the legal system here in the States before things escalate to an international level in Europe.
I’m staring at this massive pile of options and honestly, I have no clue which way to turn. Up until now, I’ve been making do with that absolute junk from Bass Pro Shops—it's basically glorified paperweights at this point—but that chapter is officially closed. I need to step up my game and pick something with enough punch to actually pull in the surrounding nets too. If anyone has some solid recommendations, please, lay them on me.
As if kids actually care about the logistics... honestly, the more presents, the better. In my neck of the woods, we had both Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus showing up to drop off the goods
I remember dealing with this exact same struggle back in my college days, pulling all-nighters fueled by nothing but caffeine and sheer willpower while trying to cram for finals. I ended up completely wrecking my internal clock, and man, it was a mess. My advice? Don't try to force the rhythm too hard. Just stay awake as long as you can manage, and once that wave of exhaustion finally hits, just crash. If you play it smart, you should probably find your groove again in about ten days or so.
I’ve been gathering all these stories from people who actually went through with a wedding this past year... honestly, if I had my way, I’d just head to the courthouse with my best man and call it a day. But instead, here I am, watching the love of my life plan out some massive wedding production...😁😁
Dennis Baker34 said:Had what, exactly? A massive, infallible leader who could do no wrong? A handful of transit vouchers for the occasional bus ride? Maybe a Fic or a Yugo that you had to wait a whole year for—all while your neighbor just rolled up from a trip to capitalist Germany in a brand-new Mercedes-Benz? A cushy government job where 90% of the staff basically did absolutely nothing? The "privilege" of traveling just so you could head over to Denver for some groceries or hit New York City for clothes? The honor of being drafted into the military622 miles right from your own front door? Long lines just to get decent bread? Seriously, what did they actually *have*?
I’m sure those Bastions Communism (like Korea and Cuba) are just dying to welcome all of you people who keep whining about wanting Communism! Safe travels!
And what do we have now? An incompetent, corrupt leadership; gas prices so high they're insane—you can't even afford a car; zero jobs available; I could technically travel anywhere I want, but I can't go anywhere because I'm broke; and the military is non-existent (that's the one plus, I guess)...
Besides, back then (at least from what I remember), it wasn't even the kind of Communism you saw in SK, Cuba, or Romania...
Our local police department can only bust you if you're carrying a firearm....
When it comes to the actual law, you could practically stroll through downtown with a broadsword, though that doesn't mean some rookie cop isn't going to give you a hard time about it.....
You can grab it from the vent... There are some big ones tucked away near the garage entrances and down in the basements of those high-rises. Just do a little digging and you'll find them.
But hey, watch your hands—don't go breaking any fingers on the way. 👍
