Bryan Booth82 said:Because Russian gas has been incredibly cheap for the last fifty years, and let's be honest—Germany is absolutely obsessed with cheap energy... and cheap food.
As for actually performing fracking within Germany? That is a mission that is practically impossible.

If Germany ends up broke after this, we can all just go graze in the fields.

It’s wild when you think about the sheer amount of money the USA poured into the military in Afghanistan, only to see everything fall apart in just a few days.

The threat hasn't gone away, either; they’re just moving the goalposts 😁

It probably scared off those sanction supporters who were pushing for escrow accounts to handle gas payments. If that doesn't work, then the whole thing about paying in rubles will likely actually happen.

How much of that actually hits you? 😁

Natural gas comes from places outside of Russia too, it was just much easier to get it from them before. Now, things have changed.

"With regard to food shortages, yes we did talk about food shortages and it's gonna be real. The price of these sanctions is not just imposed on Russia, it is imposed on an awful lot of countries, including European countries and our country as well."

And how exactly do you plan on overcoming the hunger and poverty Putin has laid out for you?

Think of NATO as a defensive shield, whereas Putin and his crowd are strictly playing offense.

Anthony Hill5 said:Those pathetic Putin sympathizers have finally realized they can just pop up out of nowhere with their grandstanding claims, insisting we’re all going to starve just like we did during the pandemic if we don't have Sputnik, or that we'll freeze solid this winter without Russian gas. What kind of absolute buffoons are these? 🤣

Actual Russians living in Europe criticize Putin, yet these guys act even more pro-Russia than the Russians themselves. Real Russians actually know what it's like to live in Europe versus living in Russia. I bet if these "local Russians" actually moved to Russia, they'd be thrilled.

Bryan Booth82 said:Oh, please. He isn't going anywhere. We all know how Putko operates—he’s the king of his own little world, isn't he? I remember exactly how everyone used to fawn over him whenever the topic of Russia came up. And now look at him. He’s completely lost his grip, and what does he have to show for it? His only remaining supporters are Eritrea and North Korea. It’s pathetic! Even Mexico won't stand by him anymore, which, frankly, is the most stinging blow of all.

I honestly can’t help but look back at all those old threads discussing Russia, and I find myself spiraling into pure frustration. How on earth are we supposed to just sit here and let Putko—this self-proclaimed emperor of the world—decide whether or not we freeze our tails off this winter? It’s absolutely absurd! And what is the grand plan here? How exactly does Putko, the supposed ruler of the entire galaxy, intend to transform Russia into some kind of unstoppable superpower? We’re told they have a massive military, but does that actually equate to actual stability or global dominance? Is that really how power works in the modern age? It makes me livid just thinking about how much leverage one man thinks he has over everyone else's basic survival.
🤣
Abigail, times have truly changed. Instead of actually listening to what the great Putko has to say, everyone just blindly parrots whatever the Western media outlets and the President of the USA decide to feed them!🤦

They're terrified. One wrong move and they'll be looking at fifteen years behind bars.😁

Clearly, you know more than they do. 🤣

Sure, I've got my own contacts in Russia. I'm sending them some sugar 😁 and a McChicken
right now.

Just move to Russia then. They've got everything you need there, especially if you have plenty of rubles.😁

They've got the gas. Russia's the one losing here.

The Germans are playing it smart. It's not about being against Russia or its people; it's just about standing against Putin. Plus, cutting off oil is a massive hurdle to clear rather than just flipping a switch.

There’s no way Germany loses 50% of its standard before Russia loses 75%.☕

A video is going viral on Twitter showing a Ukrainian man pulling up next to a Russian tank that clearly ran out of gas. Ali Ostad posted the clip on Twitter, claiming a friend from Ukraine helped him translate the conversation.

The footage is shot from inside a personal car, showing the vehicle pulling up alongside the tank. The driver asks the soldier what happened and if they're out of fuel. The soldier, supposedly Russian, just nods in confirmation.
"Want me to give you a lift back to Russia?" the driver asks, which just makes the soldier laugh.

As they keep talking, the driver asks where the soldier is heading. The guy says he isn't sure, but probably Kyiv. Then the soldier asks what the news is saying, and the driver tells him the headlines say everything is going the Ukrainian way for now.

Putin basically breathed life back into NATO. If this war drags on for even ten more days, he’ll have succeeded in turning the entire world against him. By next year, his victory parade in Moscow will probably only have two guests showing up: Vučić and Lukashenko.

Michael Davis10 said:People are always talking about shooting down Russian planes but I haven't seen any actual footage. According to Twitter, Ukrainians have already taken out half their air force.
Is anything even flying on the Ukrainian side over there?
Maybe they don't have any planes left at all.

Imagine if they actually managed to shoot them down. By summer, the Russians would be sleeping in the middle of Ukrainian fields.

Morning Ukrainian
An intelligence officer from Ukraine reached out to tell me about a meeting held deep inside Putin's stronghold in the Ural mountains. It was basically a gathering of oligarchs all trying to find a way to escape Russia. According to Terras, who shared what looks like a leaked document, Putin is absolutely livid because he thought this whole war would be a breeze—something finished in just a few days.

- The Russians didn't actually have a tactical plan. This war is bleeding them about $20 billion every single day. They’re down to their last few missiles, so they're being extremely stingy with them. They're running out of gear; their factories physically can't keep up with the demand. At best, they're just scraping by making rifles and ammo,

- Any new Russian weaponry might take three or four months to build, if they can even manage it. They're completely out of raw materials. They used to rely heavily on supplies coming in from Canada, Finland, and Germany, but those taps have been shut tight now, writes Terras.
